A Time for

New Beginnings

publisher’s note

December has arrived, and with it, the usual suspects: festive lights, holiday music on repeat, and an overwhelming number of cookies and other sweet treats that seem to multiply by the hour (not that I’m complaining). And let’s not forget that familiar endof-year scramble, the one where we realize that somehow, 2024 is practically over, and we’re days away from 2025. Where did the year go?

stars if they could). I’m told that I’ll soon understand the true power of coffee in ways I never imagined. But more than that, I know this journey will be filled with more love and joy than I can comprehend right now.

As we approach the finish line of one year and look toward the start of another, December always feels like a time to pause, take stock, and start plotting for the year ahead. But this December holds something particularly special for me—it’s the month I’ll become a dad. My beautiful wife and I are expecting our first child—a little girl—right in the heart of the holiday season. Suddenly, the “new year, new beginnings” theme has taken on a whole new meaning for us!

It’s a strange feeling, knowing that life as I know it is about to change forever. I’ve heard that babies bring a whirlwind of sleepless nights, endless diaper changes, and a complete rearrangement of priorities (and apparently, most parents would give it five

As we gear up for the holidays and start thinking about what 2025 might hold, I encourage you to take a moment to embrace the changes coming your way, whether it’s setting new goals, making a big move, or even just welcoming a bit more joy and laughter into your life. Remember, change doesn’t just happen on New Year’s Day. It’s a constant, unpredictable force that shapes our lives in unexpected ways—and sometimes, it shows up as an 8-pound bundle of joy right in time for the holidays.

Let’s face 2025 with open hearts, big dreams, and maybe a little more caffeine. I’ll see you in the new year—hopefully a little wiser and definitely a little sleepier!

Happy Holidays, and here’s to new beginnings!

PARKER FENTRISS

Growing Up Southlake

rising star

Parker Fentriss didn’t follow a traditional path into real estate. His journey began long before he officially became a licensed REALTOR® three years ago, back when he was just a kid growing up in Southlake, Texas. Southlake is known for its Friday night lights and tight-knit community, but for Parker, it was more than that—it was the birthplace of his love for homes and the real estate industry. “Football is big in Texas, especially here in Southlake,” he recalls, but his true passion was sneaking into new construction sites, mesmerized by the beauty of architecture and design.

It wasn’t just the houses that caught his eye; it was the world of real estate that surrounded his father. Involved in private investments, including real estate, Parker’s dad was a key influence in his life. “Watching my dad invest across various sectors of the industry sparked my interest,” he says. “I would shadow him and learn, and it naturally pulled me into real estate.” This early exposure laid the foundation for Parker’s future, giving him an edge in the industry that few agents can claim. It also solidified a desire to help others find the same joy in homes that he had as a child.

Since joining Ebby Halliday and becoming a part of the Marcontell Gilchrest Team, Parker has channeled his passion into becoming a real estate advisor who does more than just help people buy and sell homes. His approach is simple but profound: Provide the best possible service, one that makes clients feel not only satisfied but deeply respected. “I’m driven by earning my clients’ respect and their positive feedback after closing,” he explains. For Parker, success isn’t just measured by the number of houses he sells; it’s about the relationships he builds and the impact

he leaves on his clients’ lives. “The most rewarding part of my business is exceeding my clients’ expectations and receiving their feedback. Positive reviews are truly the most fulfilling aspect of what I do.”

Parker’s love for real estate doesn’t stop at transactions. He’s passionate about being a resource for his clients, especially when it comes to connecting them with trusted tradespeople and vendors. “Over the past year, I’ve helped more than seven clients with renovation projects, big or small,” he notes. Whether it’s introducing buyers

to contractors or assisting sellers with design choices, Parker finds great joy in helping his clients make informed decisions that elevate their homes. “I love helping them make renovation decisions—it adds another layer of value to the service I provide.”

His holistic approach to real estate has made him stand out in the North Fort Worth market. “I know every aspect of the market I work in,” he says. Growing up in the area, Parker has an intimate knowledge of Southlake, Westlake, and the surrounding cities, enabling him to guide

his clients with confidence. “Growing up here gives me a unique perspective, both from my childhood and as an adult.”

But knowledge alone isn’t enough in today’s real estate landscape. Recognizing the power of technology and social media, Parker embraces new tools to stay ahead of the competition. “I actively pursue the best ways to leverage social media and video to help my clients succeed,” he says. This modern approach has proven to be a powerful tool in his arsenal, giving him an edge in a market that’s as competitive as it is dynamic.

Real estate, of course, comes with its challenges. Parker understands that the industry is full of highs and lows, and he’s learned not to get caught up in the emotional rollercoaster. “Don’t get too high with the highs or low with the lows,” he advises up-and-coming REALTORS®. Burnout is a real threat in a business that demands constant energy and focus, but Parker’s calm, steady approach keeps his grounded. Golfing, one of his favorite hobbies, helps too. “Golfing is a great way for me to clear my mind of the normal stressors that come with the business,” he shares. The balance between work and play is vital, and it’s something Parker holds onto tightly.

At the end of the day, what sets Parker apart is his unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional service. “My favorite part of being a REALTOR® is turning my client’s dreams into reality as smoothly as possible,” he says. Moving is never an easy process, and Parker takes pride in easing that burden for his clients. His goal is simple but impactful: Make the experience of buying or selling a home as stress-free as possible.

With his deep understanding of the local market, his passion for serving his clients, and his embrace of modern technology, Parker Fentriss is a rising star in North Fort Worth real estate. He’s not just selling homes; he’s building relationships, guiding renovations, and helping his clients find their perfect match in the market. For Parker, it’s all about respect, service, and making dreams come true. “Honestly, I’m not entirely sure what the future holds,” he admits, “but I do know that my main focus in this business is delivering the best possible service.” And for his clients, that’s more than enough.

Putting Smiles on their Faces Northeast Tarrant County HomeSmiles

In today’s competitive real estate market, success often hinges on building strong partnerships and offering consistent value. Doug Skomer, owner of HomeSmiles Northeast Tarrant County, embodies this philosophy through his commitment to quality service and collaboration. With just one year in the property maintenance industry, Doug has already made significant strides in establishing his company as a trusted name in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, offering a comprehensive suite of services designed to meet the diverse

needs of property owners and real estate professionals alike.

Doug’s journey into property maintenance was not a typical one. Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Doug graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in marketing before moving to Texas in 1998 due to a job transfer. His background in sales and marketing for environmental services firms, as well as his experience in home building, set the stage for what would eventually become his latest venture. “As I

was finishing my career working for a home builder, I found myself at a crossroads—deciding between starting my own home building company or pursuing another opportunity,” Doug explains. That opportunity came in the form of HomeSmiles, a property maintenance company that caught Doug’s eye for its unique approach and potential to make a meaningful impact. “Ultimately, it came down to where I believed I could make the most impact, both within the company and in the communities I serve.”

HomeSmiles is all about efficiency and convenience. Offering a range of 18 services, Doug’s company can complete all necessary property maintenance tasks in a single visit, making it a game-changer for busy homeowners, real estate agents, and property managers. “What sets us apart from the competition is our ability to provide numerous services with one call and in one visit, which ultimately saves our customers time and money,” Doug says. This streamlined approach means that rather than juggling multiple contractors, clients can rely on HomeSmiles to handle everything from gutter cleaning to dryer vent cleaning, smoke detector testing, and exterior window washing. “18 Services, 1 Call, 1 Visit, Smile...It’s Done,” is the motto Doug’s team lives by, ensuring that their clients experience not only professional service but also peace of mind.

But Doug’s vision for his company goes far beyond just offering a convenient service. “First, I want to emphasize the significance of building a lasting brand,” Doug says. “It’s not just about creating a recognizable name; it’s about establishing a brand that stands for integrity, quality, and reliability. A strong brand can inspire trust and loyalty among clients, making it a valuable asset in a competitive market.” This focus on brand integrity is at the core of everything Doug does, and it’s a commitment that resonates with his clients, many of whom return again and again for the reliable, high-quality service they know they can count on.

In addition to brand building, Doug places a strong emphasis on partnership—especially with real estate professionals. “I want to highlight the role of being a partner in the realtor’s success,” Doug says. “By providing resources, support, and insights tailored to their needs, we can empower REALTORS® to thrive

in their business.” Whether it’s helping agents get their listings market-ready or offering maintenance solutions that enhance a property’s value, Doug sees his role as one of collaboration and shared success. “This partnership approach fosters collaboration and enables us to work together towards shared goals, ultimately leading to greater success for everyone involved.”

Doug’s passion for helping others succeed is rooted in his personal values

of tenacity, humility, and kindness— qualities that he believes have been key to his own success. “Tenacity has been crucial in overcoming obstacles and challenges along my journey,” Doug reflects. “Humility allows me to recognize that I don’t have all the answers, and kindness has played an essential role in building relationships.” These values not only shape Doug’s leadership style but also inform the way he approaches client relationships. He’s not just interested in providing a service—he’s focused

on creating lasting partnerships built on trust and mutual respect.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Doug is a family man who cherishes time spent with his loved ones. “My family is important to me,” he says. With three grown children, Doug and his family have built strong bonds through shared activities like travel, pickleball, and even participating in 5Ks together. Their dog is a constant companion in their adventures, whether they’re exploring new places or simply relaxing at home. This balance between work and family is something Doug values deeply, and it’s reflected in the way he manages his business—ensuring that both his personal and professional lives are aligned with his values.

As Doug looks to the future, his goals are clear: build a strong, recognizable brand, continue fostering valuable partnerships with real estate professionals, and provide the highest level of service to his clients.

“I want our brand to be synonymous with quality, reliability, and integrity,” Doug says. By prioritizing exceptional customer service and focusing on long-term relationships, he’s confident that HomeSmiles will continue to grow and leave a lasting impact on the industry.

Doug’s story is marked by a commitment to excellence. Whether he’s helping a homeowner maintain their property or partnering with a REALTOR® to ensure a successful sale, Doug’s focus is always on delivering value and building trust. And with his strong sense of purpose and dedication to his clients, it’s clear that Doug and HomeSmiles are a partner setting your business on a path to lasting success.

Woodrow Elizabeth

When it comes to choosing a real estate agent, there are many different approaches and specialties to consider. But for more than 20 years, Elizabeth Woodrow has deliberately followed one unique path: working exclusively as a buyer’s representative. For her, this model wasn’t just a business decision but a passion born from personal experience. DEDICATED

cover story

“I’ve always been passionate about serving buyers,” Elizabeth shares. “Many of my clients are relocating from across the country, and I know firsthand what that’s like. I remember the stress of analyzing school districts and neighborhoods, trying to find the perfect fit for my family.”

Elizabeth’s experience as a relocation client, having moved with her husband and family to various cities across the U.S., including the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and

Texas—twice—has made her particularly empathetic to her clients’ needs.

Relocation wasn’t just a passing chapter in Elizabeth’s life but a defining experience. After earning her degree in accounting at Penn State University and becoming a CPA, she and her husband, who studied chemical engineering, embarked on multiple relocations due to his career. “I started as a real estate assistant in 2001 after several moves

ourselves,” she explains. “I realized that my background in accounting and finance translated really well into real estate, especially in providing detailed and intelligent service to my clients.”

This meticulous attention to detail and her deep empathy for buyers have shaped Elizabeth’s success in real estate. Specializing solely as a buyer’s agent isn’t common—many agents work on both sides of the transaction—but for Elizabeth, the focus has allowed her to provide exceptional service, something she takes great pride in. “I’ve chosen this business model deliberately,” she says. “Not all REALTORS® could specialize in buyer agency and still generate enough volume to sustain a business. But it’s been possible for me because of the wonderful former clients, friends, and colleagues who have freely recommended my services.”

For Elizabeth, real estate is about much more than transactions—it’s about relationships and the opportunity to have a lasting impact on the lives of her clients. “The most rewarding part of my business is hearing from past clients who say they love their neighborhood, their town, and especially the home we found together,” she says. “Those are the moments that make all the challenges worth it.”

And there have been challenges, especially in recent years. “The biggest challenge has been the lack of inventory over the past five

years,” Elizabeth explains. “We’ve faced multiple-offer situations again and again, but even in those tough circumstances, I see opportunities to shine. It’s all about how you approach it.”

Despite the shifting market and competition, Elizabeth’s career continues to thrive. Coldwell Banker Realty recently recognized her with the International President’s Elite Award, placing her among the top 3% of agents worldwide. It’s a testament to her dedication and the trust her clients place in her. “I take referrals very personally,” she admits. “When a former client recommends me, I feel a deep responsibility to ensure I’m worthy of that trust.”

Elizabeth’s drive and success come from a strong support system. She’s been married to her husband for 35 years, and their two daughters, who followed in their father’s engineering footsteps, grew up in North Texas. “Our girls continue to be grateful for the family-focused environment and top-quality education they received here. It’s something a lot of my relocation clients are looking for as well—an environment where their children can thrive.”

Beyond real estate, Elizabeth enjoys activities that allow her to recharge and spend quality time with her family. Recently, she’s taken up pickleball and is rekindling her interest in golf, hobbies that she and her husband plan to enjoy together in their

retirement. “It’s nice to have things outside of work to look forward to,” she says with a smile.

As for her advice to newer agents, Elizabeth emphasizes the importance of maintaining a client-first mindset. “In a world of social media, it’s easy to focus on the ‘I,’ but that can skew you away from service,” she advises. “Each day, the focus should be on our clients—what’s important to them and how we can best serve them. It’s not about us, it’s about them. If you provide exceptional service, the rest will come.”

This philosophy of service is something Elizabeth learned early on from one of her mentors, Debbie Dunn. “Debbie taught me the importance of providing detailed, intelligent service,” she recalls. “She’s an amazing mentor, and she’s always put service, in all areas of her life, at the forefront.”

Looking forward, Elizabeth’s goals remain simple: happy, satisfied clients. For her, success is measured not by awards or accolades but by the long-term relationships she builds and the lives she touches. “I want to be remembered for my service,” she says simply. And after two decades of dedication to her clients, it’s clear that she already is.

“Elizabeth Woodrow really cares about her clients. She truly wants to provide the best available services to them!” —

and Cherry Creek Mortgage & Todd Nunis Brooke Johannes

When you walk into Cherry Creek Mortgage—a division of Guild Mortgage—it’s more than just a place to talk numbers and interest rates. For Todd Nunis and Brooke Johannes, this place is home. Here, they, along with their daughter, Casey, pour themselves daily into a mission larger than mortgage lending. “We’re truly a family team,” Brooke says warmly, “and our office is an extension of that, a space where our REALTOR® partners can feel at home too.”

Todd and Brooke have dedicated 24 and 13 years, respectively, to building something unique at Cherry Creek. They’ve not only become leaders in the mortgage industry but have also fostered an environment that feels more like a close-knit community than a conventional office. “We built this space with our REALTOR® partners in mind,” Brooke explains. “It’s a place where they can drop in, meet with clients, attend classes, or even film videos in our production studio. We want them to see it as theirs.”

The journey of this tight-knit team started in DFW, where both Todd and Brooke found their calling in mortgage lending. Their careers were shaped not only by a passion for helping clients but by an unwavering commitment to serve clients with unique needs. “A mortgage isn’t just a loan,” Todd states, “it’s the pathway to a home where memories are made and financial security is built for generations. We’re here to be more than lenders; we’re partners in that journey.”

It’s a dedication that extends beyond Todd and Brooke. Their daughter, Casey, plays a vital role in keeping every loan on track. She’s the detail-oriented backbone, handling everything from buyer credit repair to resolving appraisal issues. “Casey ensures that everything moves smoothly,” Todd notes proudly. “She’s the one you want in your corner when things get tricky.”

Cherry Creek’s unique team dynamic is supported by its array of innovative mortgage products, designed to help first-time buyers and families facing financial hurdles. “We’ve been in this business for over 64 years,” Todd points out, “and our range of loan programs truly sets us apart. One of our standout programs partners with Home Depot to provide energy-efficient appliances for buyers who might not have funds for upgrades. We want to make homeownership as accessible as possible.”

Todd and Brooke understand the power of offering a personal touch in a field often driven by hard data. Their office has a warm, inviting atmosphere that reflects their deep commitment to their partners. “For us, it’s not just about signing papers and moving on,” Brooke shares. “We’re here to provide ongoing support, whether through community events, continuing education classes, or just lending a hand. We consider our partners family.”

The team’s connection goes beyond their work life; they are

deeply rooted in family values. With eight adult children—many of whom live nearby—the Nunis-Johannes clan is truly a tribe, spending time together traveling, having family dinners, or simply relaxing at their lake house. “We are lucky to have our family so close,” Brooke says, smiling. “Family is at the heart of everything we do, and it’s made all the difference in our success.”

Success, as Todd and Brooke define it, isn’t measured by numbers but by impact. “It’s about the lives we’ve touched and the communities we’ve strengthened,” Todd emphasizes. Over his two decades in the industry, he has helped countless clients who might have been turned away elsewhere. “Nothing is more rewarding than finding a way for someone to become a homeowner when they didn’t think it was possible,” he adds. This commitment to serving clients who face unique challenges has become a hallmark of Cherry Creek Mortgage.

The custom-designed Cherry Creek office is a testament to Todd and Brooke’s vision. It boasts drop-in offices, spacious conference rooms, a luxury kitchen, and an indoor-outdoor patio complete with rolling doors and a fireplace. There’s even a classroom and a fully equipped production studio for REALTORS® looking to enhance their digital presence.

“Our space is as much for our partners as it is for us,” Brooke says. “It’s a place where they can gather, learn, and grow their businesses.”

This commitment to their REALTOR® partners extends to providing tailored educational resources. Brooke, who serves as the REALTOR® liaison, has a knack for helping agents grow their businesses through community marketing and social media. “I love watching our REALTOR® partners succeed,” she shares. “Seeing them gain new skills or close deals with our support is incredibly fulfilling.”

For those in the real estate industry, having Cherry Creek Mortgage in their

network is like having an extended family dedicated to their success. “Our family-team dynamic allows us to be there for our agents and clients at every step of the way,” Todd explains. “We hold each other accountable, and that level of trust and dedication really resonates with our partners.” In an industry where service can often feel transactional, the team at Cherry Creek offers something different—a long-term partnership built on mutual growth and shared values.

The Cherry Creek team’s favorite quote, “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams,” encapsulates the ethos that guides their work. Whether it’s supporting a client through the purchase of their first home, helping an agent navigate a tough market, or simply welcoming partners into their oneof-a-kind space, Todd, Brooke, and Casey are there every step of the way, making dreams a reality.

In the words of Todd, “We’re in this business to make a difference, to provide people with the opportunity of homeownership, and to create lifelong connections.” For Cherry Creek, it’s more than just mortgages—it’s a place where agents and their clients can feel right at home.

2024 DFW REAL PRODUCERS

Super Social At Globe Life Field

Our DFW Real Producers Super Social Event was a grand slam of an event! Not only did we have over 400 beautiful people attend this event, we celebrated inside the Lexus Club at Globe Life Field. It was such a blast! Have you ever been inside the stadium when there is no game or fans? Just an empty stadium? It is such a unique experience. Oh, and the World Series Trophy was there for us to all take pictures with, too!

At this event, we gave out over 200 RP Top Agent Awards for the agents who not only earned their 2024 Award but also attended the event. The agents who were at this event collectively produced over $3 billion in real estate in 2023 alone. Impressive!

Some asked if this event was in replacement of the ESPE Awards, and the answer is “No.” Just a really

sweet event. The ESPE Awards, which includes special awards that are voted on, like Rising Star of the Year, Leader of the Year, Most Inspirational Agent, etc., will be coming again in the near future!

This event was such a huge success and would not have been possible without Perry Homes, the Preferred Builder of the Texas Rangers, and the host sponsor of this event! Y’all are seriously so amazing!

I always need to give a big thank you to our incredible RP Vetted Business Partners who are truly the reason DFW Real Producers is possible and exists! Thank you all so so much.

JOE & KATHY

HAMILTON

Photos by: John Walsh, Premier Property Media

IIn the world of real estate, power teams are rare, but when you find one, it’s something special. Joe and Kathy Hamilton, a dynamic husband-andwife team in the North Fort Worth area, have crafted a flourishing real estate business rooted in faith, family, and business–in that order–and a passion for helping others. Their journey has been defined not just by success in the market, but by the shared belief that life’s true purpose comes from a higher calling, setting the foundation for everything they do.

Small Town Beginnings and a Global Journey

Joe Hamilton’s roots trace back to a small town in the Texas Panhandle. “It was so small,” Joe recalls, “I went in one door of the first grade and out another door as a senior.”

He attended community college in Amarillo, followed by Texas Tech University, and eventually earned a Master’s degree in Business from California Coast University. His career began in real estate in 1999,

but soon after, he returned to the world of medical sales and marketing. It wasn’t until 2012 that Joe left corporate life behind for good, joining Kathy in full-time real estate.

Kathy, a native Texan born in Lubbock, grew up in a family that moved frequently due to her father’s job with Frito-Lay. She graduated from Monterey High School in Lubbock and attended Texas Tech briefly before diving into the working world. Kathy held a variety of jobs, from advertising with the Quarter Horse Journal to owning a weight loss franchise with her mother. But it was real estate that called her back. In 1999, after moving to the Denton area, she got her license and joined Joe in the business. Today, Kathy is not only licensed in Texas, but also in California and Oklahoma.

Building a Life and Career Together

Joe and Kathy’s path in real estate was far from straightforward. They lived overseas twice during their

marriage, spending five years in Hong Kong, where Kathy took a break from real estate. Returning to Texas, they resumed their journey, navigating the challenges of working as a team. “When my wife Kathy and I started working together,” Joe admits, “we had to learn which lane to stay in so that we weren’t running over each other.”

Kathy agrees, emphasizing that while working together can be refining and challenging, it’s also deeply rewarding. “We have been truly blessed with our success in this business,” she says. “Real estate has allowed us to build wealth and support causes we’re passionate about, like rescuing trafficked women and supporting our local church.”

The Hamiltons have served on Keller Williams’ prestigious Agent Leadership Council for over 10 years and have been awarded the Eagle Award multiple times—a recognition they hold dear because it reflects their commitment to serving their

fellow agents. Together, they’ve produced over $145 million in real estate volume in the last decade, including $10 million last year alone.

The Joy of Helping Others

For Joe and Kathy, real estate is more than just transactions; it’s about helping people grow their personal wealth through homeownership. “The people we get to meet, help, and become friends with—that’s the most rewarding part,” Joe says. Kathy echoes this sentiment, adding that her favorite clients are often empty nesters looking to downsize. “I think they don’t realize how hard it will be to give up all their ‘stuff.’ Helping them navigate that transition is something I really enjoy.”

In addition to their work with clients, the Hamiltons take great pride in mentoring new and struggling agents. Kathy, who was named Coach of the Year for her work as a productivity coach, finds fulfillment in helping others achieve their goals. “There’s nothing new under the sun,” she says, quoting Gary Keller, the co-founder of Keller Williams. “The basics still work. Real estate is a contact sport— you have to get in front of people.”

Faith as Their Foundation

At the heart of the Hamiltons’ success is their faith. Joe describes himself as a man of faith first and a real estate professional second. “We treat all of our clients like family, regardless of

the price point they’re looking in,” he says. “Our goal is to put others’ needs before our own.” Kathy, too, shares this value, wanting to be remembered for her kindness to others and her love of God and family.

This has also gotten them through their fair share of struggles, including health issues and the stress of relocating so frequently in their early years of marriage. “The first year living overseas is always a challenge,” Kathy admits, but these experiences have only made them stronger, both as individuals and as a couple.

A Life of Adventure and Balance

While real estate is a significant part of their lives, the Hamiltons make time for relaxation and fun. They love traveling, particularly to Mexico, where they escape to the beach a couple of times a year. “We enjoy eating out, and I’ve taken up walking with our Belgian Malinois, Bear,” Kathy shares with a smile. “Neither of us realized when we rescued him that we’d need to walk him at least once a day. It’s been a great adjustment for me.”

Looking ahead, Joe and Kathy are excited about the future of the Dallas/ Fort Worth area, which they’ve always considered home, no matter where they’ve lived. They see continued growth and opportunity on the horizon. For themselves, their goals are simple: take more vacations, learn pickleball, and continue to serve their clients with the same faith-driven focus that has defined their careers.

“Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t be successful,” Joe advises young agents. “Make a goal and focus on it.” Kathy adds, “God has already given you everything you need to be successful. Just go use it!”

As Joe and Kathy Hamilton continue to build their legacy, it’s clear that their commitment to faith, family, and business—always in that order—will guide them every step of the way.

GUIDING THEM HOME

Raisa Wilfong has spent the past two decades serving clients across North Fort Worth, transforming dreams into reality, one home at a time. For Raisa, real estate isn’t just about closing deals—it’s about uplifting others.

“When we help others succeed, beginning with our clients, we succeed,” she says, encapsulating the guiding principle that has defined her career.

Raisa’s journey into real estate started in the fall of 2004, but her path to that point was anything but linear. Born in California, Raisa studied across the U.S. and abroad, attending college in Connecticut, Costa Rica, and Southern California.

She began her academic career with a focus on pre-med, but it wasn’t long before her interest shifted, leading her to study marketing. Before making her mark in real estate, Raisa worked as a marketing consultant and trainer for GTE California. After stepping away from the corporate world to raise her children and assist her husband in his contracting business, she found herself drawn to real estate. What drew her in, and what has kept her in the field for 20 years, is the opportunity to build lasting relationships with her clients.

“Helping my clients move forward with confidence, even though there’s uncertainty in the market, is what I’m passionate about,” she shares.

Real estate, with all its ups and downs, requires an agent who can weather the storms, and Raisa is the steady hand her clients rely on. But like any successful businessperson, Raisa has faced her share of challenges. Balancing her family life with a demanding career wasn’t always easy, especially during the years when her late husband battled cancer.

“Serving my clients while helping him and my family through that difficult season was one of the biggest challenges I have faced,” she reflects. Through it all, Raisa maintained her commitment to her clients, even as she navigated personal hardships.

“Learning to set time boundaries and take at least one day off each week has been key to maintaining that balance,” she adds.

Despite these challenges, Raisa has thrived in her career, earning an impressive list of accolades, including the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award, Hall of Fame induction, and several Top 500 rankings. Her career

volume totals over $160 million, with last year’s sales surpassing $13 million. Beyond the awards, however, Raisa finds her greatest reward in the joy and satisfaction her clients feel when they achieve their real estate goals. “Experiencing that joy with my clients is my favorite part of being a REALTOR®,” she says.

Raisa’s approach to real estate is deeply rooted in her faith. “I am a person of faith, as so many are, and many years ago, I felt God told me, ‘Take care of my business, and I’ll take care of yours.’” This belief informs every decision she makes, from how she handles client relationships to the care she takes in managing her business. It’s this faith-based approach that sets her apart from other agents and allows her to lead with both heart and integrity.

As much as she loves her work, Raisa knows the importance of balance. When she’s not busy helping clients, she enjoys spending time on her hobbies, which include music writing, playing instruments, photography, travel, and a new love—pickleball. These passions allow her to recharge and bring fresh energy to her work.

Her ability to blend personal passions with professional excellence has allowed her to thrive, and she attributes much of her success to her love for what she does. “Love what you do and those you do it with—that is success,” she believes. For Raisa, success is about finding joy in the journey and positively impacting the lives of those she serves.

Looking back on her career, Raisa is proud of the incredible people she’s met along the way and the opportunities real estate has afforded her.

“Real estate has connected me with incredible people and allowed me to give to others and charity beyond what I imagined before my career,” she says. Her career has also made it possible for her to travel to some of the destinations she once dreamed of visiting, such as Europe, India, China, and Alaska.

As she looks ahead, Raisa has her sights set on building generational wealth through real estate—both for her family and for her clients. Her

family plays an essential role in her life, and she beams with pride as she talks about her children and grandchildren. “I have a son, Aaron, who works in corporate entertainment and is married to Aubrey with three beautiful children. My daughter, Anna, is a pediatric nurse, married to Evan, who is a custom home designer and builder, and they have two children. And Gabriella, who worked with me in real estate for seven years, now works with her husband, Chad, in roofing and construction, and they have four beautiful children.”

Despite her success and years of experience, Raisa remains humble and grounded. She continues to strive for growth, not just for herself but for the people and community she loves. Her advice to up-and-coming agents?

“Find your passion in real estate and work at it daily. Put effective systems in place and work them.”

In a rapidly growing market like DFW, where opportunity abounds, Raisa’s philosophy of generosity rings

true. “DFW is rated one of the highest areas for charitable giving per capita, and there are many kind and generous people here. Generosity breeds success and prosperity,” she says.

As Raisa continues to build her legacy, she hopes to be remembered not just as a successful REALTOR®, but as someone who loves God and loves people. With her unwavering faith, dedication to her clients and passion for helping others succeed, Raisa Wilfong is more than a REALTOR®— she’s a guide, a friend, and a bright hope for those looking to make their dreams a reality.

She consistently strives to enhance the client experience and has set a new standard of excellence within the industry. It is a privilege to have her as a colleague and friend in our brokerage.” —Traci Nicodemus, BrokerOwner, RE/MAX Trinity
