Real Producers Events are

CHANGING

Over the years, our DFW Real Producers event structure has changed. A few things, however, have, and will, always remain the same. One example is who gets invited, and has access, to our events. Our events are only for the Top 500 Producing Agents and our Real Producers Vetted Business Partners. Top 500 Agents can invite the agents on their team to join them at these events if they want to, and we may send invites to agents that were just outside of the Top 500 for the year to have them take a peek behind the curtain, and to additionally motivate them to make this desirable list next year!

The businesses that partner with us have been vetted by the top agents, and the Real Producers team, to ensure they are of the highest quality; these businesses are the ones that invest in our community and truly make this platform possible. For those reasons, we do not give access to outside businesses to our events. Keeping the integrity of what this community is remains very important to us, which is a community of the best of the best that honors and respects one another.

When Real Producers started, we did four events a year per magazine. These events were always high-level social events, and they were awesome. After a couple of years, I wanted to add some variety to the mix. As we expanded from one publication to four, it has allowed us to create an exciting event structure that you won’t find in any other Real Producers community around the country.

Now, we have increased the number of events that we do each year, and we have four different types of events:

1) Social Events 2) Magazine Celebration Events (only for

those featured in the magazines and select businesses) 3) RP Vetted Business Socials (only for our partners) 5) The ESPE Awards (our black-tie awards gala). The ESPE Awards is being moved from November to April and will return in 2025. This October, we will have what I am calling a Super Social that will include all four Real Producers territories in DFW. I am thinking we may have a costume party at that event!

Besides the ESPE Awards, or this year’s Super Social, most events are specific to each publication, like the North Dallas Real Producers Top 500 Agents and RP Vetted Businesses’ only specific events.

These events are special, and it is because of the people that are in the room. It truly is rare and an honor for us to be able to host these events for you all.

From everyone on our DFW Real Producers Team, we thank you for your continued support and for making Real Producers the number one real estate community in DFW. Keep an eye out for your invitation to the next event!

“It sort of just happened,” Aaron chuckles, reminiscing about his serendipitous entry into the moving industry during his college days. “I needed some extra money and knew of a couple brothers who were doing moves for folks, and I became their first employee. It snowballed from there, and I feel very blessed to have what we have today.” What started as a means to earn extra income blossomed into a full-fledged enterprise driven by hard work and honesty, two pillars that Aaron holds dear to his heart.

“We emphasize a stress-free move without any unwanted surprises along the way,” Aaron assures as he speaks of the core values embedded within Bolt Movers’ ethos.

But behind every successful venture lies a dedicated team, and Aaron is quick to acknowledge the contributions of his carefully curated crew.

“We have several full-time team members, all capable of being a team lead,” he explains, a sense of camaraderie evident in his words. It is a rare combination to find a leader who operates from a place where innovation meets expertise. Living with Gratitude

Marla Sewall’s story is as unique as the DFW real estate landscape. A seasoned sales agent at Compass Real Estate, her narrative of success, gratitude, and the profound impact of guiding clients through major life changes is as long as the marathons she runs. As a member of The Sewall Beaird Group, formed with her dear friend Meg Beaird, Marla brings warmth and authenticity to her role, and the fact that she is here to tell her story today is nothing short of a miracle.

Marla grew up in Plano, Texas, and ventured to the University of Texas at Austin where she earned a Bachelor’s degree of Business Administration in Marketing (BBA). After a stint in Chicago to kickstart her career, she returned to Dallas in 2003 to nurture her growing family. Little did she know, her journey would later intertwine with the ever-changing landscape of Dallas real estate, getting her license in 2016.

“I know the importance of building a home. I love interior design and have always worked hard to create a warm and inviting place for my family to create memories. I love helping others do the same,” Marla shares, highlighting her passion for interior design and the creation of warm, happy home spaces. Real estate, for her, is not just a profession but a means to merge personal interests with a fulfilling pursuit.

For Marla, the most rewarding aspect of her business lies in guiding clients through significant life changes. Success, according to Marla, is about

“touching somebody’s life in a positive and meaningful way.” This philosophy is deeply rooted in her personal experiences, especially the defining moment when she experienced Sudden Cardiac Arrest at the age of 42.

“I was training for a marathon and did a 22-mile run followed by a round of tennis with my husband,” Marla recounts. Fatigued from the day, Marla retired upstairs to watch TV and that is the last thing she remembers. “My husband heard water running, came upstairs and found me submerged in the bathtub, lifeless and blue.” He performed CPR on me until I was breathing, and then I was intubated and admitted to ICU in a coma.” Although the doctors can’t be 100% certain what triggered it, a diagnosis of ventricular fibrillation, a life-threatening condition that causes the heart’s lower chambers to quiver instead of beating normally, or V-fib, caused her cardiac arrest changed her life forever. Marla now has an implantable cardioverter defibrillator in her chest to send a jolt to her heart

if she should go into V-fib again. This incident transformed her outlook on life. “Ultimately, I’ve discovered that the impact one’s life has on others is the most important legacy we all have,” Marla emphasizes. Today, she is still running, demonstrating her spirit to overcome in the face of adversity and prove that no challenge is insurmountable.

In addition to personal challenges, Marla tackles head-on the misconceptions surrounding the value of REALTORS®. After working together, she finds that her clients are so appreciative of all of the hard work involved in getting their transaction through to the finish line. Although she is grateful for the many awards

she has received, Marla finds the greatest gift of all is the satisfaction of helping her clients through this complicated and often emotionally-charged experience.

Marla’s family, including her husband Cary and their four incredible sons, Matt, Ryan, Kyle, and Collin, along with their three rescue dogs, Gracie, Ellie, and Bella, form the nucleus of her life. The support and love from her family play a crucial role in her journey, both personally and professionally.

Away from the hustle of the business, Marla finds balance playing tennis and pickleball, running, reading, and playing Mahjong with friends. She has also become involved with the American Heart Association to raise awareness about Sudden Cardiac Arrest and other heart-related medical issues.

When asked about advice for up-and-com ing Real Producers, Marla offers a simple yet profound mantra: “Be authentic.” It’s a trait she embodies, making her warm and approachable, putting clients at ease in what can be a stressful process.

Reflecting on her legacy, Marla desires to be remembered for “the way I made people feel about themselves.” Her goals for the year ahead are simple but power ful – to “continue to be grateful for each and every day.”

Marla Sewall’s journey has been marked by resiliency, a heart for authenticity, and an unwavering commitment to her clients. As she continues to grow her business, Marla’s story serves as an inspiration to both clients and colleagues alike. Growing up in Garland, Texas, and graduating from Southern Methodist University with a BFA degree in journalism/advertising, Christi’s early chapters were marked by her Texas roots and a creative flair. Reflecting on her path, she shares, “I’ve always had a love for art, starting with my BFA in journalism/advertising. It laid the foundation for my creative journey.”

Christi’s journey in real estate began in 2018, a chapter she entered at the age of 56. Her diverse career, from pharmaceutical sales to marketing her ex-husband’s law firm, eventually led her to explore her passion for real estate. “Living in East Texas, I also started investing in rental income properties, and I knew I loved real estate,” she adds.

With a knack for connecting with people on a deeper level, Christi found her stride in the business, using her life experiences and maturity to navigate challenges. “I’ve worked harder because I did get a later start to my real estate career,” she reflects, embracing the challenges of starting a sales career later in life. In addition, her appreciation for art, architecture, and design has helped her help her clients. “I love that my job allows me to explore a variety of homes with unique styles,” Christi shares. “It’s exciting to match a client with a home that not only fits their needs but also their aesthetic preferences.”

Now, with The Agency Dallas, Christi’s passion for what she does takes center stage. “I’m passionate about delivering exceptional service to my clients. I love helping them achieve their real estate dreams and goals and making it as convenient and stress-free as possible,” she expresses.

Christi’s dedication shines brightest when working with first-time homebuyers. She takes pride in being their “real estate mom,” guiding them through the intricate steps of homeownership. “The joy on their faces when they get the keys to their new home is what fuels my passion every day,” she says, highlighting the human connection that drives her in this business. Her friend’s advice, to be the calm in the storm for her clients, resonates as she navigates the bustling real estate market with poise and empathy.

Success, according to Christi, goes beyond sales goals. “Success is the joy I find in helping clients reach their real estate goals and the fulfillment I gain from each transaction,” she defines. For her, cultivating meaningful relationships with clients, colleagues, and the community is equally crucial.

As a mother of three daughters, Avery, JoJo, and Ryan, Christi finds purpose in her family. “They are my motivation!” she exclaims. Her total volume in 2022 reached $18 million, a testament to her dedication and success in the competitive real estate market.

Beyond real estate, Christi’s artistic spirit takes the form of large, bright abstract paintings. “I love paintings that make people feel positive and happy,” she shares. “I have always used art as a creative outlet, but about 10 years ago, I started donating my art to various charity auctions. People started asking me if I would sell my art or create custom pieces for their homes. I’m not formally trained, but I learned about graphic design while I was a student at SMU and that has translated into my artwork.” Christi is also a pet lover and enjoys hanging out with her cat, Karma, and dog, Charlie. She also has found an outlet in fitness, teaching aerobics classes for 30 years.
