LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
THE HOME STRETCH of 2021 We are in the home stretch for 2021! This year has been a wild and crazy ride for almost everyone in this industry and I am sure that most of us will give a nice little sigh when 2022 starts. But this year has not been all bad. We have lots of great things to look back on! We started off the year with a bang and got our Home & Remodeling Show off the ground even with all of the restrictions in place due to the pandemic. The show was a huge success and I want to give a shout out to that committee! They busted their butts and it was a great show for all of the vendors and consumers that attended. In April we brought back our member mixers and the turnout for these has blown all our expectations out of the water. Our members showed us they wanted to get together, and they wanted to network with their fellow members. Over the next few months, we had more of the member mixers and people showed their support in droves! We will continue the member mixer tradition into 2022, that is for sure! We had our annual softball game and Team Majzun finally brought home the big W! It only took us 5 years but we finally did it. Our softball game and family picnic has become a crowd favorite and every year the turnout for it gets better and better! We only have one month left in 2021. With the holidays quickly approaching, we all know that the month of December flies by. We have one final event this year and it's our Ugly Sweater party on December 16th. We have quite a few of our members that have stepped up to sponsor this year so I am very appreciative of that! I am looking forward to seeing everyone there to celebrate everything we accomplished in 2021 and bring in 2022! Let's not forget that our Installation Banquet will take place January 8th! It will be our first bash of 2022 and it is always a great time honoring our incoming board of directors, our hall of fame inductees, and our circle of excellence award winners! It has been a great honor being your president thus far in 2021 and I cannot wait to see what exciting things are coming for us in 2022! #TeamNCBIA
