Do you want to help us out with our image? Every year Noorderzon tries to make something special of the festival poster (and the cover of this booklet). This year - the 25th edition! - we collaborate with artist collective WERC again to make something extraordinary. The image for 2015 consists of a lot of geometrical shapes which together form the words ‘Noorderzon 25’. Every participating artist got one of these shapes in their mailbox to take a picture with. With this project we literally sent out a little piece of Noorderzon to artists from all over the world. Our goal is to further fill in the image as the festival approaches. Eventually you, the visitors, help us to complete the image, which will not be finished until the last day of the festival.

Help je ons met ons beeld? Ieder jaar probeert Noorderzon echt iets speciaals te maken van ons festivalbeeld (het omslag van dit boekje). Dit jaar - de 25ste editie! - werken we opnieuw samen met kunstenaarscollectief WERC om weer iets bijzonders neer te zetten. Het beeld voor 2015 bestaat uit een heleboel kleine geometrische figuren die samen de woorden ‘Noorderzon 25’ vormen. Iedere deelnemende artiest heeft één van deze vormen in de brievenbus gekregen om hier een foto mee te maken. Met dit campagnebeeld hebben we letterlijk een stukje Noorderzon opgestuurd naar deelnemende artiesten van over de hele wereld. Ons doel is om het beeld naar mate het festival dichterbij komt steeds iets verder in te vullen en uiteindelijk kunnen jullie, de bezoekers hier zelfs nog een handje mee helpen. Het beeld is pas af op de laatste dag van het festival.
