We salute all Mothers who selflessly sacrifice their needs to raise their children and serve their families. Mothers who play versatile roles to fit into the needs of their loved ones; being a good friend to provide support to their children, teachers to help their children learn, chefs to cook for their family, stylists so their children always look ravishing, and other endless roles that they constantly try to adapt. However, it doesn’t here. Today’s mothers are balancing their working lives and their familial lives - and honestly, they’re absolutely excellent at it! Despite their never-ending contribution and efforts, they are often assumed to be perfect. Their flaws are often questioned and seen as inadequacies. But one thing that we can always learn from mothers is their will to never give up. A resolute virtuoso with a determined mindset is what describes him best. His personality accompanied by his captivating charm has enthralled plenty of hearts and gathered increasing love from his audience. Rudy Rahul Sharma is all set to win thousands of hearts with his upcoming movies, songs, and shayaris that not only showcase his sheer talent but also glimpses of his exuberant personality. G-Town Society is delighted to share an exclusive interview with our readers. May ‘22


Q. How did your journey start as a versatile artist?

Q. Despite being a dermatologist, how did you decide to take the road to artistry?

R: I developed a passion for being an artist in my adolescence. I believed it in my heart and pursued it during school. I began participating in my school plays and even won an award for ‘The Best Actor’ in a Hindi play in class twelfth. After completing school, I made my education my primary goal so I finished my Doctor of Medicine degree in dermatology. Once I become financially independent soon after I received my degree, I invested in my dreams. I have always dreamt of being an actor and knew this was my opportunity to finally follow that dream. I began my acting journey with album songs while I simultaneously learned acting in theatre acting and multiple workshops. With the sole purpose of polishing and improving my acting, I grabbed every opportunity I could to learn. Equipped with the knowledge and skill I had developed, I started acting in movies. Meanwhile, I learned violin and guitar.

R: Completing my education in Dermatology was an achievement for me and it made me immensely proud. It was quite fulfilling for my brain. On the contrary, being an artist is an achievement for my heart. It is rewarding for my heart and it has always been that way.

Q. What is the one challenge that has prevailed or seemed most difficult to overcome? R: The one thing I have struggled with throughout is time management. Juggling between different skills sometimes becomes strenuous, especially because there are only twenty-four hours in a day and not enough time to give to each one of my skills and get the daily chores done. I am learning to manage my time better because I truly relish being an artist and performing for my audience. However, I do find myself to be most comfortable when I am doing mono-acting shows. Q. What is the one thing that you truly love about being an artist? R: The best thing about being an artist is that it can leave a great emotional impact on the audience. An artist holds the power to influence his audience with his performance, which I believe to be very overwhelming for me too. There have been artists that have transformed the world into an ideal beautiful lively place and I wish to do just that.

Q. We learned that you lost over 19 kilograms to fit the roles you anticipated best. Please share the secret of your fitness journey with our audience. R: I have always taken health quite earnestly and it was easy to formulate a diet plan. As most fitness enthusiasts would know, diet is a crucial factor in one’s fitness journey, so I paid extra attention to that. Initially, I switched to a calorie-deficit diet and it was outright onerous but I managed eventually as I grew habitual to it. Moreover, fitness is an essential element in an Actor’s career because it makes you more adaptable to play challenging roles. Q. You’ve done over 30 acting projects, which one would you pick to be your personal favorite? R: I think my personal favorite is yet to come as I have many more projects on the way and I am very excited about them. So far, my song Dil-ENadaan depicting the power of love is quite close to my heart. I remember writing this song with sheer devotion and it received generous appreciation from the audience. Q. What are your plans for the future? R: Well, in simpler terms, my plan is to expand my brand. I plan on constructing a team of people that carry similar interests and will help me strengthen my own film production house - Rudy Rahul Creativity. Furthermore, I am also looking forward to adding more songs to my banner named Rudy Rahul Records.

Q. Apart from what we have already learned about you, would you like to share your hidden talents with the readers? R: I am not really a secretive person so I don’t think I can tell you anything that’s a secret (laughs). But I do wish to become a Politician in the future because I would love to nurture my leadership skills and actually put them to good use, especially in societal terms. Q. Who is your dream co-star to work with in the future? R: Rani Mukherjee has always been my crush. She was actually my very first crush in Bollywood. I would definitely love to work with her in the future. Q. Can you tell our readers a little bit about your upcoming projects? R: I am very thrilled to share that I have six upcoming movies and some will be released by July. They are more of a self-made movie as I have directed them and written them. I’m very excited about their release and I hope my audience enjoys them. Q. If you were ever given a chance to replace any character in any existing Bollywood movie, which one would it be? R: I can’t replace any character because all actors have done an outstanding job in playing them and bringing justice to the character. But if I were to choose, I would love to be a part of Three Idiots Movie because I remember going through a similar experience during my MBBS. Q. One piece of advice that you would like to share with aspiring young actors in the industry? R: My humble advice is to keep a balance between your passion and your actual job. I think it’s very important to be financially stable and educationally strong to be on the safer side. Q. What is your life motto that you truly stick by? R: The one motto I follow is to always keep my family first. I believe that I am a family person and I will always prioritize my family first, then my dreams. I follow it religiously.

Though Rajasi didn’t always want to be a kids’ jewelry designer, it was just something that came along her way. Her family background ironically lay in machinery and related hardware products; but Rajasi loved the idea of delicate, adorable and detailed high jewelry. After working her way as a jewelry designer for quite some time, the idea for an all-exclusive kid’s jewelry brand hit her. Now the line of Rajasi Jindal deals in Hallmarked Gold, Sterling Silver, Swarovski, and Pearl Jewelry. But a never-heard concept of this brand, had its own tests and challenges. The adorable ones often grow out the jewelry pieces in less than a year, the pieces cannot be more than 2-3 grams in weight for the convenience of it and making a name for her venture were a few of those issues. But once her designs hit the website, the word quickly got out. Everything, from the awed reaction of the parents to their babies wearing her jewelry to the look of her tiny little bracelets, earrings, necklaces and bangles on a newborn prompted Rajasi Jindal to take it further, one step at a time.
