IP67 protection for high performance in demanding environments
D
esigned for high performance weighing in demanding environments, Gladiator washdown scales are rated IP67 for thorough protection. They’re made of easy-to-clean stainless steel, and the connectors on the bottom of the scale are rated IP67 as well, which allows for usage in dusty, wet or humid conditions. An IP67 rating ensures the scale can be used for weighing wet or humid samples, and that it can be washed thoroughly without damaging the load cell to help prevent contamination and maintain hygienic conditions. Gladiator scales can be used in processing and packaging applications requiring liquid filling, or for weighing raw ingredients. Gladiator scales feature a large backlit display that changes colour to indicate if a sample is under, over or within limits preset by users. They can count, weigh, checkweigh,
weigh moving or unstable substances and weigh in percentages. The display has a hold feature that freezes the results when needed, allowing time to elapse without losing results. The efficient keypad is colour coded, so users can quickly recognise frequently used keys. It’s easy to use for superior efficiency in a wide variety of applications. The keypad is also sealed to help prevent damage due to accidental spills. Send data to printers and computers with the RS-232 interface. The printouts are GLP/ISO compliant. The rechargeable battery allows for operation even in places where power is not readily available. Platform sizes are available in 250 x 250mm, 300 x 400mm, 400 x 500mm and 450 x 600mm. Amino acid analysis just got smarter
W
aters offers the Kairos Amino Acid Analysis Kit that reduces the time required to quantify amino acids, a critical application for research scientists investigating the physiological underpinnings of disease. The Kairos Amino Acid Analysis Kit simplifies and automates LC/MS-MS quantification of amino acids in human plasma and urine. This LC-MS based kit, with its unmatched accuracy across all analytes, makes it easier than ever to get fast, precise results. The Kairos Amino Acid Analysis Kit, which can bring run times to under 10 minutes, is fully automated with manual options for physiological samples in both high-throughput (500+ samples) and lower-throughput (100+ samples) amino
acid analysis. Built on AccQ•Tag reaction chemistry, this kit enables easy retesting of samples, without the need for a dedicated amino acid analyser. The Kairos Amino Acid Analysis Kit consists of reagents, standards, an analytical column and associated methodology, and is capable of significantly cutting analytical run times when used as directed with supported Waters UPLC systems, mass spectrometers and Waters Targeted Omics Method Library.
