Welcome and Intimations A very warm welcome to worship this morning from all at New Laigh Kirk.

We are glad you are here and hope you enjoy worshipping with us. Please make yourself known to those sitting beside you. Tea and coffee will be served in the church immediately after the service.

The welcome team today is Lilian Gillies, Barbara Allan, Andrew Bryson, Jim Lawson, Peter Adam, John McDowall, Iain Sherry, Betty Johnstone, Elaine Bryson, James Lang, Moyra O'Rourke, Donald MacLean, Ann MacLean, Ian McCall and Kevin Handling.

Worship on Sunday, 30th October will be conducted by the Minister beginning at 11.00am. There is a creche facility for children under three years of age. Kingz Kidz meet at 10.50am in the church and sit together. Tea and coffee will be served in the church immediately after the service.

More minibus drivers are required to drive the bus to church on Sunday mornings. You will only be required two or three times per year. If you can help with this, please speak to Iain Sherry.

The next Imagine event will take place THIS AFTERNOON from 4.00pm to 5.00pm in lower hall and will include worship and discussion. Tea, coffee and cake will be available.

Christian Aid Festival of Praise on Sunday, 30th October at 6.30pm in Kay Park Parish Church. An offering will be held for Christian Aid. Highlights Klub on Monday, 24th October at 8.00pm in upper hall. Come along for an Avon Evening with Lorraine Paterson and Ann Clay.

Tots Praise on Tuesdays from 10.15am to 11.15am in hall.

Music and Movement on Tuesday, 25th October at 2.00pm in upper hall.

Rainbows and Brownies on Wednesdays. Rainbows meet from 6.00pm to 7.00pm in upper hall. Brownies meet from 6.30pm to 8.00pm in the lower hall.

Girl Guides on Wednesdays from 7.30pm to 9.00pm in upper hall.

NLK Vocals Practice on Wednesdays 7.00pm to 8.00pm in church.

Guild of Friendship on Thursday, 27th October at 2.00pm in lower hall. Come along and hear about Police Community.

Choir Practice on Thursdays at 7.30pm in the church.

4th/5th Kilmarnock Boys Brigade is on Fridays, Anchor boys: 6.00pm at St Andrew's and St Marnock's halls, Junior section: 7.00pm at St Andrew's and St Marnock's halls,

Company section: 7.00pm at New Laigh Kirk halls.

Guild will meet on Monday, 31st October at 7.15pm in lower hall. This will be a Hallowe'en Night.

Imagine:Life - purposeful follow up alongside our Imagine events. 'What on earth am I here for?' A small group meets fortnightly on Monday evenings to explore life's purpose and get to know each other. Tea and coffee will be served plus a DVD and discussion. Next meeting: Monday, 31st October, 7.30pm to 9.00pm at 4 Seaford Street.

The Narnia Experience will take place in NLK Halls, 1.30pm to 5.30pm on Sunday, 27th November. Donations of Lion bars and knitted scarves will be gratefully received. If you can lend your Christmas tree or a fur coat for scenery, please label them with your name and phone number. They will be received at the halls and church on Sunday, 13th and 20th November. Anything you are able to bring is very much appreciated. Just now we would particularly welcome shaving gel/foam, disposable razors, shampoo and conditioner.

Foodbank. Donations of non-perishable foods should be placed in the blue bin in the vestibule. Particularly welcome just now are UHT milk, tinned fruit, rice pudding, meat and vegetables. New volunteers are always welcome.
