Welcome and Intimations A very warm welcome to worship this morning from all at New Laigh Kirk. We are glad you are here and hope you enjoy worshipping with us. Please make yourself known to those sitting beside you. We especially welcome Mrs Barbara Urquhart who leads our worship this morning. Please join us for tea and coffee served in the sanctuary immediately after the service. The welcome team today is Steuart Dey, Elizabeth Milloy, Marion Short, Margaret Brown, Kirsty McCall, Murray MacGregor, Elizabeth McKelvey, Shirley Auld, Joan Young, John McLean, Janice Dey, Bill Highet, Jay Ward and Murray McCall. Worship on Sunday, 27th November is the first Sunday in Advent and will be conducted by the Minister beginning at 11.00am. Kingz Kidz meet in church at 10.50am and sit together. There is a creche facility for children under three years of age. Tea and coffee will be served in the church immediately after the service. Next Fellowship of Kilmarnock Churches service on Sunday, 27th November at 6.30pm in Crosshouse Parish Church. All are welcome.


2017 subscriptions for Life and Work are now due at a cost of ÂŁ30 for the year. This sum should reach Stephen Brown TODAY. More minibus drivers are required to drive the bus to church on Sunday mornings. You will only be required two or three times per year. If you can help with this, please speak to Iain Sherry. Kirk Session will meet on Tuesday, 22nd November at 7.30pm in lower hall. Rainbows and Brownies on Wednesdays. Rainbows meet from 6.00pm to 7.00pm in upper hall. Brownies meet from 6.30pm to 8.00pm in the lower hall. Girl Guides on Wednesdays from 7.30pm to 9.00pm in upper hall. NLK Vocals Practice on Wednesdays 7.00pm to 8.00pm in church. Guild of Friendship on Thursday, 24th November at 2.00pm in lower hall. The speaker will be Miss Barbara Graham. Choir Practice on Thursdays at 7.30pm in the church. 4th/5th Kilmarnock Boys Brigade is on Fridays, Anchor boys: 6.00pm at St Andrew's and St Marnock's halls, Junior section: 7.00pm at St Andrew's and St Marnock's halls, Company section: 7.00pm at New Laigh Kirk halls.


4th/5th Kilmarnock Boys Brigade Coffee Morning on Saturday, 26th November at St Andrew's and St. Marnock's halls from 10.00am till 12noon. Tickets are available from Scott McDowall at the door of the Church after the service. The Narnia Experience will take place in NLK Halls, 1.30pm to 5.30pm on Sunday, 27th November. If you are available to help set up for The Narnia Experience, the set up team will commence at 10.00am on Saturday, 26th November in the halls. If you can lend your Christmas tree or a fur coat for scenery, please label them with your name and phone number. They will be received at the halls and church TODAY or they can be left on the stage at the halls during the week. Anything you are able to bring is very much appreciated. Just now we would particularly welcome shaving gel/foam, disposable razors, shampoo and conditioner.


Foodbank. Donations of non-perishable foods should be placed in the blue bin in the vestibule. Particularly welcome just now are UHT milk, tinned fruit, rice pudding, meat and vegetables.
