Iconic Luxury Hotels is where the in-crowd go: the wealth creators and influencers of the arts, business and political worlds of today. Iconic Luxury Hotels was founded in December 2016 and is part of L+R Hotels (landrhotels.com) - a highly motivated family-owned global hotel investment and management company - that has an extensive portfolio of over 105 hotels, with approximately 21,000 bedrooms. Iconic Luxury Hotels is an expanding collection with an international focus. The collection is comprised of an eclectic array of properties, each of which celebrates distinct architecture, cultural heritage, and natural surroundings. Each property has its own character,

traditions and stories but they share a common commitment to delivering outstanding experiences. The current portfolio includes some of the world’s most famous hotels from Cliveden House, one of England’s finest country estates, to the Hotel Excelsior in Italy which is the home of the Venice International Film Festival. The other UK hotels comprise Chewton Glen, an English estate on the South Coast, The Lygon Arms, a 14th Century Coaching Inn in the Cotswolds, 11 Cadogan Gardens in Chelsea, one of London’s most prestigious residential areas, The Mayfair Townhouse, London, which opened in December 2020 and the lastest addition, The Chelsea Townhouse, a remarkable townhouse also in the heart of Chelsea.

AN ICONIC COMMITMENT

The paper used in this magazine has been carbon balanced through The World Land Trust

Carbon balancing the paper in a publication is a simple way to reduce the carbon impact of a printed communication, reducing its carbon footprint and its impact on climate change. The World Land Trust are a Suffolk-based UK charity who buy threatened forests in the tropics and preserve them. Through WLT’s Carbon Balanced programme, carbon emissions generated by a particular product or activity are offset or ‘balanced’ by the carbon stocks saved when WLT conserves ecologically important forestry under imminent threat of clearance. The paper used in this publication is FSC accredited. The FSC

scheme strives to responsibly conserve natural plant and animal habitats; respecting the rights of forestry workers and supporting local communities involved in the growing of sustainable timber. They also operate a chain of custody labelling system; the use of labels helping to raise awareness of the organisations and of the vital work they do. Chain of Custody certification is a means of promoting sustainable forestry. It traces the path of products from the forest through each stage of the supply chain to the end user, verifying that certified material is identified or kept separate from non-certified material throughout the chain.
