Capturing a beautiful sky over our park.
Bright Rhododendrons on a beautiful day
This is a beautiful scene, skilfully captured. Half of the skill of photography is spotting the potential of a scene in the first place and the stunning colours and varying heights of the trees in this one make it a great subject. But the photographer has also made the most of the opportunity. The shot is nicely lit and well composed. The path leads the eye through the red trees in the foreground and the contrast with the green trees beyond creates a sense of depth. This is a picture that a professional landscape photographer would be proud of
The Forester’s
Offering a wide range of snacks and meals – including lunches, Sunday roasts and a varied evening menu with vegetarian and children’s options –there’s something to suit everyone at our relaxed and child-friendly bar and restaurant, The Forester’s. Food can also be taken away, to enjoy in your accommodation, if you prefer.
There’s also an outdoor seating area that’s perfect for making the most of the weather on warmer days and evenings, and during peak season the bar features a packed entertainment programme, so you can enjoy live music from local bands and singers.
Raising over £500 for East Anglian Air Ambulance – and jam-packed full of arts, crafts, treats, Tinkerbell the pony and much more – our Spring Fayre was blooming brilliant!
Here at Forest Park, entertainment is a big part of the experience! As such, we regularly have some exciting events happening on site. Just a few examples include:
Complete with canapes and a live band, a great atmosphere was created to showcase the opening of our Foresters Bar & Restaurant.
Have you heard about the fairytale of Forest Park? Legend has it that hidden away from the eyes of ordinary folk, lies a realm where magic reigns supreme! Earlier this year, reallife fairies could be spotted fluttering around Forest Park – like something straight out of a storybook! Ideal for our young explorers during their summer holidays, more and more fairy houses began appearing in the trees – each with an exciting story to tell and welcoming believers to share their wishes and help to spread kindness!
Enjoy freshly made coffee, breakfast pastries, toasties, pizzas and jacket potatoes at our café, open daily from 8.30am. We also sell essentials, snacks, sandwiches, hot and cold drinks – plus produce from local suppliers including Dotty’s Cakes and H.V. Graves Butchers.
Here are some highlights from our social media to showcase the exciting things happening on and around the park…
