The Super Bowl of Chili!! Join us
Saturday Feb 1st 2014 — 3 ’til 5 pm at Little Church on the Lane for the finals of the Chili Cook-Off! An RCC Winner will be crowned! While we’re enjoying each other’s Chili & company,
we’ll have the opportunity to support Sierra Leone. This year’s emphasis is SOLAR POWER for the secondary school! We have a $50,000 target in order to provide power for the Junior & Senior Secondary Schools. Note that Solar Power is not a luxury! It’ll meet these needs: 1. Sierra Leone government requirement that a computer lab is in place. 2. Lighting for evening study by the students. 3. Opportunity for evening classes for adult villagers for health & nutrition. 4. Security for the premises.
At the Super Bowl, you will see many new Sierra Leone photographs, and have the chance to speak with representatives from the most recent visit.
