Forgiveness is Big Medicine

“How does one know if she has forgiven? You tend to feel sorrow over the circumstance instead of rage, you tend to feel sorry for the person rather than angry with him. You tend to have nothing left to say about it all.”

I love this quote about forgiveness, as Clarissa raises a few good points. We have read and heard much about why it is important to practice forgiveness. Forgiveness is good for the soul, for our consciousness, for our peace of mind. However, in Clarissa’s quote, she raises the question or rather a pondering, of how do we know there has been forgiveness.

Forgiveness as a noun is about the act of forgiving. Forgiving is an adjective that describes the understanding or allowing of weakness or error. The word forgive is a verb, an action, or behavior. Forgive is defined as, “to cease to feel resentment against an offender, to give up resentment of or claim to requital; or, to grant relief from payment of a debt.” https://www. merriam-­webster.com/dictionary From this definition we can identify forgiveness in ourselves if we stop feeling resentful, or we feel relief, even if it is about monetary payment. The feeling is the key to realizing there has been forgiveness.

The feeling of emotions, such as rage, sorrow, anger, and disappointments begin to fade. These feelings are not triggered as much by certain words or behavior. I believe that forgiving by the aggrieved is meant to take away or alleviate the negative feelings over time. This forgiveness heals the emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical wounds.

The person receiving the forgiving, the one who caused the hurt or pain, may or may not even know they have been forgiven by the aggrieved. They have their own part of the journey of forgiveness that may lead to alleviating their rage, anger, sorrow, and disappointment.

Clarissa Pinkola Estes is one of my favorite authors. I listen to most of her work on Audible books. Listening to her read to me is one of my favorite daily, morning events as I shower, brush my teeth, and fix my hair.

There is also a life lesson attached to the event that caused the act of forgiveness. The life lesson or lessons is for all people involved. We play parts or roles for each other so that the circumstances are created for soul growth. Perhaps forgiveness is meant to be a vehicle for soul growth. Although, when we are going through the drama and trauma of an event, we rarely focus on the lesson.

The absolution of a debt, whether financial or karmic, is filled with possibilities. There is a quote

The children have an opportunity to heal the historic trauma they carry from their Ancestors.

The children may also claim the wisdom passed down from their Ancestors, thereby absolving the debt. When we do the healing of our emotional and mental traumas, we heal our Ancestors seven generations back, and we heal our descendants seven generations forward. Absolution, forgiveness, is a powerful medicine for hope.

I believe when we forgive, the act of forgiveness affects the forgiver most profoundly when the forgiveness comes from their heart and not just their words.

When a person’s thoughts, words, behavior, and emotions align, there is integrity and truth.

Their truth does set them free with heartfelt forgiveness.

When we mind our own vibration, we take responsibility for our actions, our decisions, and our soul growth. For me, this

means understanding our personal meaning of forgiveness. It also means we ask ourselves if there is a person or persons we could forgive, including ourselves.

Furthermore, it is just as important to take responsibility for our thoughts, words, and deeds if we hurt someone else and make a heartfelt integrous apology.

In my work, called “Journey to Remembering”, which is all about living our life from our hearts, there is a place called the “Tiny Space of the Heart”. The Tiny Space is a unified field of grace.

When we enter this holy place, we can forgive and be forgiven when we make the prayer.

Forgiveness is immediate and complete. I call this immediate and full moment Big Medicine.

t’s been many years since

I’ve read Lindbergh’s Gift from the Sea. Written in 1955 on Florida’s Captiva Island, Lindbergh explored her life, her relationships, and the roles of women in society using seashells found on the beach as her inspiration.

I was in high school when this book was assigned reading. I remember not only how Lindbergh’s words gave me pause to think about topics I’d never considered before, but also how this book intensified an already strong and mysterious pull to the ocean, something I’ve had all my life. Like Lindbergh,

I clearly remember my first visit to the ocean as a child. I was with my grandparents and it was winter. Not your usual time for an ocean visit. This was a special trip just for me, a spontaneous gift from my grandparents who

knew of my interest in nature, particularly whales and dolphins—beings I have always felt a close connection to and cherished.

I didn’t feel the cold on that Maryland beach that day. I simply breathed in the air—brisk and briny as only ocean breezes can be. Wrapped in my pink and white coat, I watched the breakers crash onto the sand with fascination.

I wondered what mysteries lay under those waves, but my clearest recollection of that trip is how I felt being there, alone except for my beloved grandparents. I felt peaceful and happy, a feeling new to me as my childhood was quite turbulent.

That feeling stayed with me for a long time after my journey home, and over the many years of my life I began to realize that there’s something special about the sea, something welcoming, something healing. The ocean extends an invitation to dive in and to explore who we truly are—a loving, non-judgmental offer to aid us in stripping away the masks we wear to reveal our authentic selves. An invitation to vulnerability and real joy.

I finally responded in earnest to that invitation several years ago when the challenges in my life became suddenly and dramatically more difficult—relationship changes, the deaths of beloved family members and friends, my own health challenges, and the

serious illnesses of my children.

The spiritual awakenings that brought with them clarity as well as significant upheaval—I was exhausted and hurting, yet instinctively drawn to the ocean, the place that felt like home.

I longed for it, so I journeyed there several times over the last ten years, feeling my spirits lift each time I was there, but knowing on another level that something more had to shift; something deeper. Anne Morrow Lindbergh discovered her gifts from the sea; what gifts were waiting for me?

I ventured to Assateague Island National Seashore on one of my winter visits, a national park and Maryland barrier island on the eastern side of the Delmarva peninsula, home of the wild Assateague ponies.

Some people believe these ponies are the descendants of those who washed ashore from the wreck of a Spanish galleon, others believe early settlers brought the ponies to American shores. I only knew that I had to see them. They intrigued me.

The Assateague ponies are small, not like the wild mustangs of the American West. They have shaggy winter coats and rounded bellies, a natural side effect of eating salt grass. They are free to roam where they want, protected by the park service. Visitors are instructed to observe but not touch.

the ponies as they walked about and thought how absolutely free they were … to go where they want, when they want, to be themselves, knowing they are protected at all times and able to venture into the ocean surf if they desired to play, cool off from summer’s heat, or simply be with the ocean’s healing presence.

Free to be.

One of the horses walked past my car beside my driver’s window and paused. His russet coat ruffled in the wind, his long mane tangled and tousled.

Soft brown eyes gazed at me.

Such gentleness and wisdom there. I was thrilled to be within

arm’s length of such a beautiful creature.

After a few moments he slowly moved off and crossed the road, indifferent to the cars that stopped in their tracks to let him pass, sure of his path. Unhurried and focused, he made for a grassy area nearby to rest.

It struck me that I wanted to be like this pony—confident, present and authentic, trusting that his needs would always be met and that no harm would come to him. He was not concerned with the future or the past. He lived in the present moment as himself with his family around him. Content, wild and free. “You can be me,” he seemed to say, “by being yourself.”

I accepted his gift.

But in accepting the pony’s gift, this clarity into dropping the mask of who I was not, I had to examine why I wore the mask at all. Why did I put it on, and what was I hoping to hide from the world … and from myself? Again, I turned to the ocean—both in the physical and spiritual sense— for help and healing.

At first I stayed in the shallows, treading carefully, slowly allowing clarity to arrive, and arrive it did, sometimes like a gentle wave but more often like a tsunami that knocked me off my feet and left me gasping for air, emotionally drained on the sand.

Always so stoic, pushing down my feelings just to make it through another day, to stay strong for my children and friends, I didn’t

realize how much I had brushed aside my own needs to take care of others. A lifelong pattern. I discovered a lack of trust in myself, in my own inner knowing.

I was afraid to use my voice to speak, not believing I was good enough, deserving enough or smart enough. I was afraid of rejection if I spoke my true beliefs and interests. I wore a mask to fit in, but it wasn’t me.

It was a false self, one that others expected me to be, a self that didn’t honor who I truly was but perpetuated an illusion. It was comfortable, I was used to it, but it wasn’t authentic. I wanted to be free.

It took me some time to uncover the real me, and the ocean

I had to be willing to do the same if I wanted to live my life as free as they did, as free as the Assateague pony, as free as all authentic beings. So, I dove into the deep end of the ocean, into me, a little afraid, but more afraid of remaining where I was, of wearing a mask that didn’t fit anymore. helped me in that discovery.

Floating in the sea, I allowed the salt water to support me and work its magic, pulling out the toxins in my body as only salt water can do. I released those deeply suppressed emotions, the emotions and pain of a lifetime.

I cried, giving myself permission to simply feel it all, letting go, an emotional detox. The water was warm. It held me and rocked me gently, a cradle for my wounded heart. My mask cracked and fell apart, the pieces carried out on a wave, transmuted in that ocean of love.

I found my courage. I found my strength. I found myself. She was there all along, buried in the

deepest part of the ocean. She was waiting for me, trusting that I would find her once more, the me I always was but forgot to acknowledge. The me I forgot to love. She was beautiful. I smiled at her, grasped her hand, and welcomed her home.

Water—Long known as the element symbolizing our emotions. When we fearlessly allow ourselves to become explorers of our ocean of emotions, we embark on a journey of true self-discovery, of self-love, and we learn to drop our masks.

e can skim the surface or dive deeply into the depths. As free souls we each decide, but if you choose to don your scuba and explore your own ocean, be gentle with yourself, honor your unique journey and embrace the unknown.

You too will discover your gifts from the sea.

Enchanted Slumber

By Adriane Campbell It has been recorded that every human has at least 4 dreams per sleep session, each one lasting about 45 minutes. Although science has done this research, I do strongly feel that not everything can be explained or even needs to be. So, I am going to remove the logic since, let’s face it, the fact that we even have dreams is pure magic. This is the time as previously discussed, that the thinking mind leaves, and the higher spiritual mind is free to do its work. So, let’s work!

Have you ever felt that you were awake in a sense while in a dream? Where you are aware that you are dreaming, and possibly even able to take charge of the elements? Well, my friend, then you have experienced lucid dreaming as both examples are lucid dreaming.

Some people think that lucid dreaming is just when you realize your dreaming and can take charge of the experience for your benefit. However, lucid dreaming is also being aware that you are inside of the dream, but more as a viewer. A basic example of this is like watching a movie except you are remarkably close to the stage!

Lucid dreaming is a magical practice. I mean who would not want to jump on a magic carpet and

soar through the clouds to end up at your castle with your pet tiger?! You can even search for treasure in a jeweled cave in the desert! You obviously know where my lucid dreams sometimes go. You can call me Princess Jasmine.

However, lucid dreaming can be used as an immensely powerful healing tool. For instance, if you are working on something in your waking life but are dealing with a block you can take yourself to that moment. You can travel past, present, or future to see where the block took place. You can then choose to surrender and release it.

You can absolutely have the releasing opportunity as well if you are lucid dreaming in the movie scenario. Here you would be looking at

Fae of Dreams Ritual Items that you will need: 1 tsp dried honeysuckle 1 tsp dried lilac 1 small sprig of mistletoe 1 small muslin bag or a small piece of cloth 1 purple candle Carefully light your purple candle. Gaze into the flame and set your intentions for opening your dream-state for the fairies. Clear your mind and open the space for the imagination to soar with the enchanted wings while receiving the clarity that you wish.

When your mind space is open, carefully extinguish the flame. I highly recommend using a snuffer to avoid blowing the flame out if you have one.

Then mix all the herbs into a bowl and fill the muslin bag with the mixture. If you are using cloth, gather it at the top and tie around the top area to make a bag. Simply place the bag into your pillowcase, close your eyes, and allow your dreams to take flight with the fae.

When you wake, write down what you recall and thank the fairies. You can leave the bag in your pillow and repeat this as often as you wish. This is your ritual and your time.

the dream from the outside perspective, so you do not have to relive or take on what is playing out in front of you. I know from experience that not everything is what I call “glittery” and so this can be a more effective way to view situations which need to be healed.

In my own journey, when I am healing something very deep, I typically lucid dream from the movie view. So, I get all the details and allow the experience to unfold on its own. This

way I can see and feel exactly what I need to and when I wake, I can record everything in my dream journal.

It is like my personal movie theater, I just have herbs instead of the popcorn (go figure). Please remember though that everyone is different and there is not one version of lucid dreaming that is better. I truly feel that your mind’s eye and soul know what you need, and things will be revealed to you exactly how they are supposed to be.

It is important to surrender to the experience and let go. I say all the time that there is not one way to heal. It comes in all directions and follows wherever your dreams take you.

Allow your dreams as a key to help unlock the doors to your soul.

What a lot of people do not realize is how fairies can assist you in your dream healing. I feel as though many of us do not work with fairies due to false information which has caused fear. Their inner child and playful energy conjured with their vivid imagination can be confused as trickster energy. This is not to harm you.

It is an energy that allows you to giggle and feel joy if you choose to. They are enchanted beings who can fully enhance your dream-state. Fairies can travel freely between all dimensions and planes. They can provide unfathomable magic without boundaries, and an enhanced creative space for clarity and emotion.

So how do we invite the fairies into our magical dreamland?

It is essential to spend some time outdoors, in the fairylands. Walk barefoot along the Earth and allow the grass to tickle your feet. Admire the flowers and breathe in the liveliness. Close your eyes and feel the sun and wind embracing you. Listen to the sounds of nature, and feel it is magic completely.

You are in the Fairy Realm.

Stay here for as long as you wish and when you are ready, express your gratitude to the Fae. I will leave an offering like a crystal, dried herb, or water. Remember that anytime you are working with energies, it is important to always leave offerings to thank and balance the exchange.

When you are ready to retreat to your space of slumber you can begin your fairy enchantment ritual. Let us begin.

Loving Dad When I was much younger, I idolized my dad. He seemed to always have time for me and when I was scared he would help me through it. Like thunderstorms; he taught me to count between the lightning and the thunder to figure out how far away the storm was.

Dads have the energy and strength to be able to do anything.

They always seem so smart! It wasn’t until I was in high school that I began to see that my dad was human and had some flaws.

My parents split up two days before my high school graduation. To this day, I have no recollection of that day and the ceremony. Dad was not there. It was best for my sisters and I that our parents ultimately divorced.

My childhood was not a happy time and left me with many wounds to heal.

Over the years I have been able to see that we are all imperfect

in some or many ways. We are only human after all! It has taken me a long time to forgive my dad for his actions during my childhood. Its been a long journey that came to a close last year when he passed. I learned a lot from him and will always have those lessons to guide me on my path.

Perhaps you had a friend who betrayed you, a boyfriend or husband who cheated on you, or a parent who did not keep you safe or provide for you. If you keep carrying that anger and resentment around with you, then you will not be able to feel the love all around you.

Love and forgiveness know no boundaries in my heart. I loved my dad regardless of his human failings. Likewise, I love all of humanity regardless of where they are on their path and how they treat each other. We all have lessons to learn and a big part of that is forgiveness. To forgive is to let go of the emotions attached to an event or the actions of another.

It takes a lot of effort and work to release that anger. You have to let love win and be the stronger guiding force in your life. You can start healing and letting go of the anger and resentment by spending time out in nature.

It doesn’t erase the event, nor does it make the behavior or actions acceptable. Our heart needs to be in a place of balance and peace. If we hold onto grudges or anger towards another, we cannot heal that piece and move on to the next level. We remain stuck.

We have had a lot of “free” time these last few months due to the Coronavirus. A perfect opportunity to explore nature and be still – looking within ourselves. If we truly stop and listen to all that is around us, we can see how alive this world is. Listening to the birds, the wind as it blows through the trees, as well as the quiet that has been so abundant of late; this is what will help us to heal those bruises inside.

Once we take the time to quiet our mind and be one with nature all around us, we begin to see, feel, and hear from our heart what is truly important and what really needs to be done. It’s not about how many Zoom classes you can take. Rather it is about who you are and why you are here. Do you know the answer to that question? I encourage you to make time for you, now. It’s time.

Here is a recipe for a Gluten Free, sugar free, chocolate cake. I call it the Guilt Free Chocolate Cake. I made it with my dad in mind. He did not like sweets, but he loved Jimmies and nuts. So this cake is for you, Dad, as I remember the good times we had together. Thank you.

Directions: Preheat oven to 350° and line two 8” pans with parchment and grease with cooking spray. In a large bowl, whisk together almond flour, cocoa powder, coconut flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In another large bowl, using a hand mixer, beat butter and Swerve together until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at at time, then add vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix until just combined then stir in milk.

Divide batter between prepared pans and bake until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out mostly clean, 25–30 minutes. Let cool completely. Be careful to not over bake.

Make frosting: In a large bowl, with a hand mixer, beat cream cheese and butter together until smooth. Add Swerve, cocoa powder, and beat until no lumps remain. Add almond milk (or cream), a pinch of salt and beat until combined.

Place one cake layer on serving platter or cake stand then spread a thick layer of buttercream on top. Repeat with remaining layers then frost sides of cake. I added Jimmies to the top as well as some chopped Pistachios.

Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

You here on the Earth plane, are in an ever changing, ever expanding environment. At this moment, you are beginning to feel more fully, as the consciousness awakens.

There are many who experience this awakening in a state of fear, for it is difficult to know or understand that for much of one’s life you were not truly home in the

body vessel. By this, we mean that you were not aware of all that was occurring in the dimensions around and within you.

In these awakening moments, you may experience the ecstasy of the Oneness or the Remembrance that we are all One. The Ego, or the Survival Self, becomes frightened and begins to spin tales of fear, worry,

or doubt to confuse you and return you to a state of sleepfull-ness. When you return to sleep, you forget the ecstasy of Oneness and continue on as you once again dis-remember.

When you clear your energy body of the density of sleepfull-ness, you will begin to have more moments of awakening and less of the deep sleep. This we call entering the Aware Self.

You begin to release the Survival Self or the Ego, for a place of Remembering and Awake-ness.

As I was writing this article, The Ancient One became extremely talkative, and it was clear that there was a message here for us all. If you choose to sleep, you will gently cease your existence in this realm to awaken in the next.

Now, there are those who pretend to Re-member, in the tales spun by their Survival Self. This is simply the dream that they embrace in their sleep-full-ness.

You, however, do not have to participate in their dream. For you have the choice to dream or

When you are able to shine your light in aware-ness, others begin to awaken to the brightness. Shine fully for your Self so that others may begin to awaken from the dream and help others to do the same. We are One, so helping your Self helps others, and helping others helps your Self. This is how you bring your body vessel back to health and well-being.

Our health and well-being are impacted by our emotions, thoughts, beliefs, and patterns of behavior. When we hold onto these components, we create a density in our energy body, sometimes referred to as blocks.

The longer we hold onto these emotions, thoughts, beliefs, or patterns of behavior, the denser our energy becomes. This leads to difficulties in our emotional

health, which then impacts our physical health.

In terms of chakras, their energy slows down, becomes sluggish, and may even begin to shut down. Learning to release this density can be the key to overall health, in all aspects of our lives.

How do we release the density that The Ancient One discussed? We do this by changing our thoughts, patterns, and beliefs to ones that are aligned with love. If the thought contains negative emotions—doubt, fear, anxiety, hate, etc.—then it is dense, heavy, or blocking. This slows down our vibration and our ability to fully heal. The faster our energy flows, the more quickly we can release.

Being aware is the first step; consciously changing then follows.

We also are holding onto a lot of unprocessed emotions from our past: emotions related to traumatic events that had to be held in for safety reasons, times when we were unable to speak up for ourselves, or even times when certain emotions weren’t allowed to be felt. There are many instances when we were unable to either cry or get angry about the circumstances or environment that we lived in. In these instances, we held onto our feelings to deal with them later, but later never came. Those stuck feelings are somewhere within your energy body waiting for release. We know this from all the times that other people trigger an emotional response from us which is out of proportion to the circumstances. The time you get really angry at a waitress for a mistake with your order. The times that other people aren’t paying attention when they are driving. The argument that happens over dirty clothes on the floor. Many times, we even wonder why we got so upset. Those unprocessed emotions tried to come out, but in an

unbalanced way. This is the difference between anger and rage. Anger is appropriate to the circumstances, and rage is when anger feels out of control. Many people have so many unprocessed emotions that they truly can’t tell the difference.

This type of density can be released through vibrational energy healings done consciously with a practitioner or guided through self-direction.

Tools that can help with releasing the density have healing properties. Some of my favorites are: crystals; flower remedies; essential oils; toning through sound, light, or color therapy; and Mother Earth.

Nature and water can also be very beneficial in releasing dense energy. When you are able to breathe more deeply, the healing has begun.

Begin to lighten your load, my young ones. When things are too heavy to carry, set them down to move forward in the Oneness.

For when you are in the flow of the One, all becomes light and love once more. This is where you Re-member. This is where you Awake.

WisdomKeeper's Path with Eddie Mullins

Mirror of Time Since settling in Sedona in 2018, I have had much time to look back on what has unfolded throughout my life, but more importantly what has happened over the past eight years. We are in a great time of silence and reflecting on what has been unfolding in our spiritual path for the experience as we move harmoniously forward.

Sedona is never a permanent place for me to live. Sedona is the place I come to, to do ceremonies with the land and the spirits connected to the land, and to reflect on the newest chapter of my destiny.

Oftentimes, when we look back on a healing calibration with Spirit and an experience happens. We believe we understand all the pieces of that experience in that moment but we can only be where we are in that moment or until the frequency and wisdom acclimates, even though the deeper revealing is there.

It simply will be there when you need it.

As many of you know, I am not shy about sharing my experiences. Here is an example

of one experience that happened to me.

Several years ago, while I was living in Phoenix, I was having a difficult time going through life and my spiritual work was shifting. I felt that every day I was having an out of body experience. There was a multi-dimensional deeper frequency around me all the time as if it were growing, stretching, or becoming one with me.

I felt like I was floating while my feet were firmly grounded in the earth. It was soul wisdom, but it mowed me over. I could not focus or sleep; it made me moody and an emotional train wreck. I wrote it off as some type of initiation that I was meant to endure. Archangel Michael and Archangel Metatron kept confirming this was something I needed to go through right now, but it would be here and there.

When they gave me this frequency transmission from my center, I noticed there was a lot of extra, different types of beings’ energy with them. I simply trusted that I would find balance again after time. But, it only became

stronger. My visions about this situation were from the past, present, and future. The feeling was one of everything coming together in this lifetime.

My soul traveling not only took me to the grid, but to Ancient Egypt, and then onto my time as a monk living in a cave in the Himalayan Mountains. This made whatever I experienced more and more intense. There were times I would awaken in the middle of the night (when I couldn’t sleep) or in the morning with an energy current, humming sound, and quiver moving through my body.

As much as I trusted, one morning I yelled out, “I need help, please help me understand what is happening to me!” I heard and felt nothing other than dead silence. However, a state of peace filled my body for a short moment. I trusted and surrendered; help would arrive with guidance of clarity.

Several days later, I was working out at my gym. I was resting in between sets, when energetically I was pulled over to the big windows at the side of the

building. This gym was on the 4th floor of an office building, so the entire space was surrounded by big windows.

I walked over to the windows and gazed at the amazing view outside; I had a feeling of spirit connection. I started to feel peace as I softened my eyes. I started to see an image of a woman manifesting between the glass panes.

At first, I could only see energy forming, then a transparent view of a tribal native woman.

She gently smiled, and said, “Do you know who I am?”

teaching, and helping me to acclimate to an awakening that was occurring inside of my body with my light body and earthly experience. Although very painful and emotional, it didn’t come without many spiritual tests to prove that I had earned this next level of my initiation, not for me but for humanity.

This was an initiation awakening and activating memories of my journey of being a Shaman and the healing ceremonies I would do for the village I was the shaman for at that time.

I asked her, “Who are you?”

Years later I finally understood the complete awareness of the experience that Sara took me through.

It was so painful and deep, like protecting and hiding myself from something. Although this had many pieces, I received what I needed at that time. The revealing came later while going through a destiny dark night of the soul.

“I am your Guardian of Light.

You will come to know me as your Master Shamanic Guide and Warrior Teacher.” Then she simply stared at me, which seemed like thirty minutes.

It had to do with my time as a monk, living in a cave, in the Himalayan Mountains. I am sure I have been a monk many times, but this time I was a Tibetan Elder connected to practicing and

Without missing a beat, I said, “Sara.” She nodded in agreement.

I was shocked and amazed that I naturally knew her name, this was the first time I remembered seeing the presence of Sara.

I said, “Are you here because you have a message for me?”

I thought to myself, ‘When a Master Guide shows up, that’s pretty serious.”

She said lovingly, “You did ask for help, did you not?”

I nodded yes and smiled.

Over the next several weeks, Sara stayed with me supporting,

teaching Tibetan Shamanism.

I was one of the last Shaman Elders in my village through the falling of Tibetan Shamanism. I was killed.

Because of this experience, it created a block around practicing shamanism, even more so, Tibetan Shamanism.

Once I walked through my destiny dark night of soul which has many angles other than just this experience, I was able to activate my soul shamanic DNA related to Tibetan Shamanism and walk freely with it. This was more than a past life, in many experiences in this lifetime, this was happening to me over and over again in different ways because of the block.

Changing World Healing Meditation The Angels have asked me to share with you a meditation which will bring your hearts, minds, and bodies back into balance and provide you with healing messages.

(Channeled Meditation)

Sit or lie comfortably. Bring your mind into the present moment, forgetting all the stories you have about your day or what lies ahead. We would like you to surrender to this moment, trusting that all healing happens when you are present.

Let us bring your breathing into a state of deep rest. Inhale gently through the nose to the count of three. Hold the breath at the top for three. Now exhale gently to the count of three or four, out the nose. Again.

Inhaling softly to the count of three, holding the new energy in your heart, then breathing out the old, stale air from your body to the count of four. One more time inhaling, holding, and exhaling.

See yourself standing in a beautiful place in nature. It could be a place you have been to before, or one you would like

to visit. You may be at the Great Pyramids, beneath a favorite tree, on the beach, or at the top of a mountain. Feel your feet in connection to the earth beneath you.

Wherever you are in the world, the earth is supporting you. The constancy and love of Mother Earth provides deep healing for those who connect with her. Feel the stress and tension release from your body, flowing out your feet.

Bring your awareness to your feet, lower legs, upper legs, and hips. Sense the tension and stress flow down and out your body into the earth below. Relaxing, relaxing.

Now bring your awareness to your lower abdomen, midsection, chest, and arms. With your awareness, you feel a softening and releasing of the tension and stress held in these areas.

Releasing, relaxing, letting go.

Bring your awareness to your throat, neck, jaw, mouth, ears, nose, eyes, and face. Awareness is softening the tension in the muscles, opening you up to receiving love.

Bring your awareness now to your mind and the top of your head. Feel your thoughts slow down. Feel the need to know just slip away.

Grandma’s Garden The growing season is in full swing. People are busily tending their gardens and Grandma’s garden is no exception. It becomes a gathering place for not only humans, but elementals, faeries and critters. Like the potter with his/her wheel, all are participating and doing their part in creating a majestic piece of art.

In the garden you will find a stepping stone that reads “Grandchildren Crossing”. The children and grandchildren add another dimension of love and joy to the garden. They play in it, dig and plant, prune and pick the flowers and come up with artistic floral arrangements.

The creative imagination of my grandson enhances the garden with Lokeytown. Neatly designed driveways lead up to Grandma’s house (a flowering plant), Mama and Daddy’s place (flowering bush) and his own “tree top pad.” A car sits here, a truck there and maybe even a boat. Oh, Lokey

This Grandma likes to involve all of her senses while in the garden; seeing, touching and smelling, tasting and hearing. The feel of the seeds, soil and water in my hands invigorates me. The sound of the bees humming, the fluttering of the butterflies, birds chirping, the chipmunks chatter bring a smile to my face. Watching the flowers and plants grow gives me joy. Inhaling the scent of the garden invigorates me, as well. Tasting the herbs rejuvenates me. Absorbing the colors of the flowers, plants and bushes bring warmth to my heart. Being in its presence activates my conscious, sub-conscious and super-conscious mind.

The process that a seed goes through to create flowers is amazing. It takes about 49 days from its birth process to the end of its flowering phase. This includes five phases. They go like this:

Phase 1, Germination process;

The imbibitions stage occurs where the seed takes in water from the ground, The root emerges from the seed and develops a root system, The seed creates a sprout to make its way upward through the soil.

Phase 2, Flowers leaf development;

The primary root structure culminates, The sprout begins growing tiny leaf buds, The tiny leaf buds start to grow.

Phase 3, New Leaf;

the cat, Oskar and Sophie the dogs can’t be left out. He spends hours playing and exploring new territory and visiting the residents of the town.

Leaf buds evolve into new leaf growth, The leaf grows until it reaches full maturity.

Author Erin Kilmer’s describes it so well in her poem titled “Grandma’s Garden,”

Phase 4, Blossom;

“I remember Grandma’s patience When we ran amid the flowers With her beauty all around us We would spend those precious hours.”

Grandma’s garden is also a neighborhood affair.

Neighbors walk by and say: “Looks like a miniature Meijer Garden; we walk down here every night just to see what’s new; it’s beautiful.” Others meander in and take a closer look, all the while discussing what is planted here and there. The garden is a gift of Love from not only Grandma, but also Grandmother Earth and Grandfather Sun. It is a reminder of our connection to family, friends and neighbors, the earth and Sun.

Inflorescence emergence of the flower begins (flower buds appear on stem), Growth continues until the flower is developed,

Phase 5, Blooming Time;

Flower buds continue to open, Flower production commences.

The flower reaches its pinnacle after going through 5 phases (steps) in its ascent. Number 5 in spiritual numerology is the number of freedom or liberation.

The seed completed its journey. It now stands at a decision-making threshold: free to choose whether to take rest or to continue its journey; when ready, begins a new cycle of evolvement.

The Mystery School

Nature is astonishing. If you take a close look at the flower, you’ll see a sequencing (1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, etc.) beginning with the center petal. Likewise, if you look at the sequencing of leaves, it has the same. The flower spirals out from the center, the leaves upward on the stem. This sequencing in called the Fibonacci numerical sequencing.

Do you realize that this spiral and sequencing occurs in everything? It occurs in the human anatomy, plants, flowers, and the universe. One of my very first spiritual teachers Nellie Cain illustrates this spiraling in her book Exploring the Mysteries of Life (see illustration).

Nellie states, “The Process of BECOMING could be likened to an ascending spiral, each turn bringing us closer to our objective and marking an Octave of Being in our Cosmic Spectrum.

Each octave has its own notes or scale and these notes are the steps we must take in Becoming.

As we progress and become a new note, our Consciousness is established in a higher frequency.

The completion of each Octave is double the frequency at which the octave was started just as the notes of a piano are doubled in frequency with each octave.”

It takes the seed 49 days from planting to complete its blooming cycle. Likewise, it takes 49 spirals for our Soul to merge into Divine Oneness.

This process is unending. The choice is ours whether we want to continue experiencing higher levels of awareness and consciousness.

In conclusion Author Erin Kilmer writes, “I remember Grandma’s garden And I’m happy in the knowing That when she knelt there in the soil It wasn’t just flowers, she was growing.”

What Level Comes After Superhero?

If you have read any of my articles in the past, you may have heard me speak of my father. Even if you have, with Father’s Day approaching, I hope you will let me take a slight detour from Animal talk, because I think it’s necessary to tell you about him. I am sure that every girl thinks that her father is a Hero, and I would be no exception.

My mom was married and had six children when her young husband died suddenly. She became a young widow with only social security for an income and six children aged three to fourteen. I don’t really know how my mom made it through it all. I guess she just had to.

and loved us all as if we all were his own blood. My sister Carol even named one of her children after him.

It might have been far easier if my dad was a senior executive in some big corporation and pulled in a great salary so that we each

My dad was a bachelor and my grandmother said that he spent every penny on beer and horse racing. He wasn’t really the stable type to take on a young bride, let alone a widow with six children.

Yet he did marry my mother, and he became the sole provider.

He instantly gave up the bachelor life and became a father to a ready-made large family. If that didn’t scare him enough, to have six children and a wife to support, they decided to add one more to the mix, and I was born. I guess my dad wanted to have a child of his “own”.

However, the joke was on him.

Because he became so much of a father to the other six kids that they all call him “Dad” or “Pa” (as my brother Mick insists on calling him).

had our own bedrooms and someone to mow the lawn while he was at the office. But alas, that was not the case. Nine people lived in an 1100 square foot house with 3 small bedrooms.

I am sure he never got any peace.

No, my father was a hard-working carpenter who worked outside in the hot sun and in the cold winters. This means that he was always caught in the sun, the rain, the snow and anything else that Mother Nature threw at him. Yep, in my mind, I won’t deny that this makes him a Hero.

But a few years ago, my dad’s Hero status elevated even more. Is there such a thing as an “Advanced Hero”? Perhaps, “Superhero” fits best. That is when I went to my parents and I told them my lifelong secret. The one that I was afraid to tell them. The one I had hidden from them for 45 years. I went to them and told them that I had the gift of speaking to Animals and I didn’t want to hide it anymore.

I was afraid to tell them because my parents, as wonderful as they both are, are not always accepting of “crazy ideas”. They are very conservative and I am sure that even if they didn’t ridicule me, that they weren’t going to be excited about it. But, I have to give my father a lot of credit, because he didn’t go directly to ridicule as I expected.

He asked questions. Hard questions. Which meant that he really wanted to know the answers. He really wanted to understand. He really took the

time to get the facts. Also, when one of my parent’s friends was making fun of me about being an Animal Communicator, my father defended me.

You might think that “any father would defend his daughter” from ridicule. But I can tell you that if my parents don’t agree with us, they will let us know and they aren’t afraid to tell their friends that they disagree with us. So, it was genuine and in my eyes, it was a big deal.

When my mom was not able to walk on her own anymore and was suffering from memory lapse and incontinence, he waited on her hand and foot and had to strip and wash the bed every morning. I think you get the idea.

My father’s “Superhero” status was elevated yet once again last year around this time. I don’t know what level comes after “Superhero”, so I will leave that to you. It came the day that we had to put my mother in a nursing home for dementia and severe arthritis. He goes to visit her every single day.

He sits in her room from 9am until 6pm, or until me or one of my siblings arrive. If we can’t make it,

he stays until they put my mom to bed. He wheels her around in her wheelchair and takes her outside to sit in the sunshine. He worries about her when she doesn’t eat enough. He brings her flowers— lots of flowers. I have never seen a day when she didn’t have some fresh flowers in her room.

We invited him to go on vacation with us, but he wouldn’t go because he wouldn’t be able to go see my mom. Even now with the pandemic not allowing us to visit, he still won’t go away with us, just in case. He sometimes goes outside her window and puts love notes on her window. He brings her flower baskets and hangs them outside her window for her to see.

My mom tells him, “I love you”, and he tells her, “I love you more”— something that we never heard him say out loud before. Perhaps he always did in the privacy of their bedroom. I am not sure what level comes after “Superhero”, but after being married to my mom and being a father of seven for 58 years, my dad has achieved it… in spades.

GEMINI in Profile June is the time of Gemini, the Twins, when the Spring season has decidedly turned the corner into Summer territory. From approximately May 21st to June 20th, the Sun shines through the constellation of the Twins and begins to bake the world below.

Particularly in the US, the month of Gemini is host to many celebrations and remembrances.

Those who have come before us, who fought and explored for the greater good of the Nation are honored for their service during Memorial Day. Also, school children of all ages are celebrated for their hard work and accomplishments and are sent into the world of grander promises during graduation ceremonies and commencement events.

However, during this Gemini 2020 season, we’re celebrating a little differently. We must. The pace of over-scheduled, over-stimulation has come to a StarStar Nations Nations Magazine Magazine • June • June 2020 2020 • 30 • 30

halt. For the past few months, students have been navigating new territory of 100% online learning instead of classroom cooperation. School-age and university students, for the first time, have not had an opportunity to share their commencement services among faculty, peers and family. A local high school allowed only the graduating student to walk across a bare stage in front of a bare auditorium to be filmed and broadcast at a later date.

Still, in the past few months, I’ve witnessed a change of pace and, in my own life, a change of atmosphere. I have been working from home. That opportunity has provided me a much-appreciated extra fifteen minutes of sleep! Also, my lunch time can be spent walking at the park close to my house rather than skirting the concrete jungles around office buildings.

in-person. During the month of Gemini, the solar consciousness is about exploring our local environment. I’ve certainly seen quite a (socially distanced) crowd enjoying walks in the park. Also, many of us are engaging our Intellect with more online work rather than organic exploration. However, I do make it a priority to go outside at least once daily.

The mental realm is the focus of Gemini. Fueled by the energy of Air, Gemini asks us to perceive, study, express, question and interact intellectually with our environment. Gemini’s ruling planet, Mercury, is god of communication and movement. We’re asked to examine our agility and flexibility. How well do we move about? How flexible is the mental Mind?

How do we process information? What “news” do we allow to inform and shape our expressions?

On a more physical level, Gemini is the modern ruler of the lungs and the human capacity to receive the Breath of Life. This involuntary reflex of breathing is all the more critical now, when we’re experiencing this global human evolutionary shift.

The COVID pandemic, though challenging, scary, frustrating and even dangerous, by some accounts, can be understood from a higher perspective. It can serve as an invitation to extend our Breath. The Gemini Twins provide an opportunity to exercise our lungs, and through our lungs, we can receive the Breath of New Life.

Choose Your New Story Here we are at the end of May as I am writing my monthly article—by the time you read this, it will be nearer to the end of June, and we will ALL be moving up, out and forward.

What a window of time it has been—particularly this time—because we are in a time of disruption—a time of unprecedented disruption globally—with uncertainty at every corner.

I want to say that WE are in a great place because any one of you who are reading this right now has already built a strong foundation through your levels of study. You understand how to overcome the challenges that life brings us. You have built strength, and you know how not to get caught up in the moments of anxiety that surround so many people.

Our movement forward is not only about just getting through the shift/change—it is about thriving on the backside of this model. This movement forward is about understanding the opportunities, learning and moving forward, receiving ahas and awareness, making decisions, course correcting, being happy now, being in the present moment, finding the

gold in the situation we find ourselves in.

For everyone, it is a little bit different—individually, family to family, community to community, country to country, and from continent to continent.

It does not mean it is bad—it means it is different. I use the word different—we are now different.

So what we now can do—­ actually must do—is assess that and say “How can I be better as I have come through this shift—how can I have learned something that I will take with me for the rest of my life”—not fear, not anger, not disempowerment, not victimization. What will I do differently? We now have the opportunity to hit control/alt/ delete and RESET ourselves!

Maybe you have had the time to join more deeply that spiritual vibration that is happening all over the planet as we speak— the Awakening. This is the most profound opportunity, and that is why I am so excited.

Now place your attention on the energy center of your heart. And, now, at the energy vortex outside of your body—just in front of your breastbone. It is here that the frequency of heart-centered consciousness is focused. Visualize this energy center as a sphere of brilliant white light 4” in front of the center of your chest.

Imagine and become aware of the air around that you—that it is filled with vital life energy, like a white mist that fills the space around you. Begin to inhale quantities of it into your heart’s energy center using your

mental power of visualization.

As you take a deep breath, see the mist-like vital energy within you, direct it outwards into your heart’s energy center just in front of your chest. On the out-breath, see the white light of this focused, vital life energy charging the sphere of that energy center with its brilliant power. Repeat the breath cycle nine times.

Allow yourself to feel a sense of loving appreciation—­ appreciation for your soul, for being alive, for simply existing, and for being in the flow of the adventures of life.

Now see the energy of your heart chakra as a miniature Sun, radiating outward and yet being continuously replenished by the unlimited supply of Love that fills the Universe.

Move the bright ball of energy to your third eye and expand the light and transmit the light, spreading through your home, your neighborhood, your community, your country, your state, your region, your country, your continent, through the oceans, enveloping all continents, the entire planet and out into the Universe. Real Fairie Gardens

Learning to create a real Fairie Garden begins with understanding what a Fairie is. I have been connected with this intelligence found in Nature all of my life.

They are not just the cute humanized form of a tiny girl with wings, as Disney would like us to believe, but so much more than that.

Fairies are part of the Deva’s of Light called Nature Spirits.

Deva’s could be viewed as the overall General Contractors of a specific physical form of matter such as a garden. Nature Spirits, or Fairies, are the energies in charge of the creation of the individual plants and flowers found there. They assist the seeds to grow and your roses to become pink or red in color.

They are the worker bees of Nature, the ones responsible for overseeing every single plant in your garden.

So to make a real Fairie Garden you must work in a co-creative relationship with these energies. How you do this is by first acknowledging their existence.

The Wayne Dyer quote “You will see it when you believe it,” is helpful to remember here.

Trust that there is an intelligence at work beyond the level of proven science that is often unseen by the human eye.

For me it is a comfort and a

knowingness that feels right and makes sense for understanding the world around me. How can there be so much beauty and awe here on earth without something orchestrating it all?

There are two well known communities that have been co-creating in the gardening world of Nature Spirits for many years. The first iscalled Findhorn Foundation, in Northern Scotland. This unique garden based community was founded in 1956 by Eileen and Peter Caddy and their friend Dorothy

this creative production. I love this quote she received from her Garden Deva, “Humans tend to look at gardens as an expression of nature. Nature looks at gardens as an expression of humans.”

So you see, making a real Fairie garden takes a bit more focus than just placing miniature furniture and fairy figurines in a corner of the garden. But for some, this may be the first step of beginning this relationship.

Maclean. Starting with poor sandy soil and barren ground, these friends began a dialogue about how to grow plants with Nature that is thriving to this day. This is clearly evident by the vibrant flower gardens and abundant produce grown there. Eileen Caddy’s books Foundations of Findhorn and The Findhorn Garden chronicle this journey into listening and following the advice of the Nature Spirits.

Another famous hands-on study of Nature Intelligence is active at Perelandra Gardens in Pennsylvania, cared for

Wright’s first book, Behaving as if the God in all Life Matters, shares her beginnings of a lifelong Nature Spirit connection. As Machaelle describes it, gardens are made for humans with Nature Spirits supporting

I remember as a very young child I would make Fairie houses out of drift wood, acorns, moss and stones. There was often a table,(one flat stone) with chairs, (four smaller stones), set with acorn top cups and bowls.

Moss was placed for beds and sometimes a canopy of twigs and leaves was placed over the bed. There were always flowers strewn everywhere and feathers to decorate with. Finally, gifts of tiny pieces of colorful candy were left to entice the new homeowners. I would leave these houses as offerings to the fairies at the edge of the woods, an invitation to live nearby.

The popularity of making Fairie houses has become a major gardening industry. Entire sections of garden centers are dedicated to tiny figurines, landscaping materials, furniture, and miniature plants. Fairie Gardens can be constructed inside a single low

dish or planter, or given an area of garden space just for them.

My favorite location for one of these miniature gardens is at the base of a tree or old tree stump.

A magical one I created in Michigan started with a single Fairie door leaned up against a Cherry tree trunk. A walkway was made with small glass tiles, and stones were used to edge the path. I kept the garden somewhat wild and un-­manicured, planting tiny flowers such as Johnny-jump-ups, Sedum, and Sweet Alyssum. Patio furniture, garden benches, and eventually a camper complete with campsite and colorful flags were additions to this outdoor diorama over the years. As the Cherry tree slowly started to die, large pieces of bark would fall off it. I asked the Nature Spirits to work with this tree to keep it alive for as long as possible. It stayed alive for the 8 years we lived there. The Spring before we moved I was working in the garden next to it and saw the Fairie door begin to shift back and forth. Moving over to investigate, I opened the door and there to my surprise was a small mouse, dashing down a hole he had created in the ground behind the door. This was a sign to me that Nature had really moved into this magical place I had created.

Gardening co-creatively with Nature Spirits takes a lot of listening and intuition. One must first connect or meditate with the Overlighting Deva of your entire

garden. This is the opportunity to ask about garden shapes, paths, and structure. I am often shown pictures in my mind and have blank paper and pencil ready to draw a crude sketch at best, just to capture the image given. This is also a great time to connect with the Deva of the Soil and ask if there are any amendments necessary for optimum growth.

Now it is time to actually begin working with the Fairie Realm and go shopping for plants or seeds. At the nursery I look for plants that call me to them, by their color or just their presence.

They shine or sparkle more than the others, and often I hear with my inner ear “please take me home.”

Once home, I do not plant them right away, but place them still in their pots where I feel they might like to go. I do consider light requirements, but sometimes logical mind decisions gets overruled. I place them where I think they might thrive and just let them be for a day or two. Then I ask if they are happy there.

At this time I am speaking with the Nature Spirit or Fairie of that individual plant. Again, listening with my inner ear I may discover they would like a different neighbor or to be planted in a completely different area of the garden. I listen. Sometimes moving one plant affects the locations of the other plants waiting to be planted. It is like a dance of juxtapositions.

Often times as I am digging their holes they tell me what kind of soil additions they would like to be planted with. Compost, sphagnum moss, worm castings are a few choices. There is much chatter and I have found gardening is at best a solitary affair as there can be no multitasking. Often I enter a meditative Zen-like state and hours fly by during these Nature Spirit conversations.

The joy I receive from gardening in this intuitive way is rewarding and nurturing for my Soul. Guests often comment on how they feel at peace in my gardens, and the sense of magic they inspire.

And it has not just been one location I have created magical gardens at, but everywhere I have ever lived. Once you learn how to do this, it can be applied anywhere you go.

So I encourage you to try this unique approach to gardening, Please know you will bring your own gifts to this process and that there is no one correct way to garden co-creatively with Nature.

Just bring an open heart and a willingness to listen and believe you have assistance, if you only ask.

June 2020 Update Star Nations Academy News Special Manifesting Online Class “Star Nations Deep Dive Manifesting Weekend” is an online weekend workshop October 3–4, 2020.

The bundled manifesting classes held previously are the foundational work to the weekend class in October. The earlier bundled manifesting online classes were meant to assist students in identifying their blocks and frustrations with creating the best life they would like to live.

In the October online class, the 4 teachers will take this foundational information even deeper for students. The primary class work in October is about removing or healing what is necessary to bring the student’s manifesting into the physical world.

Our 4 teachers: Maureen Mann, Ed Langan, Polly Jo Labbe and Neshi Lokotz, each have very unique perspectives regarding manifesting.
