What Level Comes After Superhero? If you have read any of my articles in the past, you may have heard me speak of my father. Even if you have, with Father’s Day approaching, I hope you will let me take a slight detour from Animal talk, because I think it’s necessary to tell you about him. I am sure that every girl thinks that her father is a Hero, and I would be no exception. My mom was married and had six and loved us all as if we all were It might have been far easier if children when her young husband his own blood. My sister Carol my dad was a senior executive in died suddenly. She became a even named one of her children some big corporation and pulled young widow with only social after him. in a great salary so that we each security for an income and six children aged three to fourteen. I don’t really know how my mom made it through it all. I guess she just had to.

My dad was a bachelor and my grandmother said that he spent every penny on beer and horse racing. He wasn’t really the stable type to take on a young bride, let alone a widow with six children. Yet he did marry my mother, and he became the sole provider.

He instantly gave up the bachelor life and became a father to a ready-made large family. If that didn’t scare him enough, to have six children and a wife to support, they decided to add one more to the mix, and I was born. I guess my dad wanted to have a child of his “own”.

However, the joke was on him. Because he became so much of a father to the other six kids that they all call him “Dad” or “Pa” (as my brother Mick insists on calling him). He was a father to seven children

had our own bedrooms and someone to mow the lawn while he was at the office. But alas, that was not the case. Nine people lived in an 1100 square foot house with 3 small bedrooms.

I am sure he never got any peace. No, my father was a hard-working carpenter who worked outside in the hot sun and in the cold winters. This means that he was always caught in the sun, the rain, the snow and anything else that Mother Nature threw at him. Yep, in my mind, I won’t deny that this makes him a Hero.

But a few years ago, my dad’s Hero status elevated even more. Is there such a thing as an “Advanced Hero”? Perhaps, “Superhero” fits best. That is when I went to my parents and I told them my lifelong secret. The one that I was afraid to tell them. The one I had hidden from them for 45 years. I went to them and told them that I had the gift of speaking to Animals and I didn’t want to hide it anymore.

I was afraid to tell them because my parents, as wonderful as they both are, are not always accepting of “crazy ideas”. They are very conservative and I am sure that even if they didn’t ridicule me, that they weren’t going to be excited about it. But, I have to give my father a lot of credit, because he didn’t go directly to ridicule as I expected.

He asked questions. Hard questions. Which meant that he really wanted to know the answers. He really wanted to understand. He really took the time to get the facts. Also, when one of my parent’s friends was making fun of me about being an Animal Communicator, my father defended me.

You might think that “any father would defend his daughter” from ridicule. But I can tell you that if my parents don’t agree with us, they will let us know and they aren’t afraid to tell their friends that they disagree with us. So, it was genuine and in my eyes, it was a big deal.

When my mom was not able to walk on her own anymore and was suffering from memory lapse and incontinence, he waited on her hand and foot and had to strip and wash the bed every morning. I think you get the idea.

My father’s “Superhero” status was elevated yet once again last year around this time. I don’t know what level comes after “Superhero”, so I will leave that to you. It came the day that we had to put my mother in a nursing home for dementia and severe arthritis. He goes to visit her every single day.

He sits in her room from 9am until 6pm, or until me or one of my siblings arrive. If we can’t make it, he stays until they put my mom to bed. He wheels her around in her wheelchair and takes her outside to sit in the sunshine. He worries about her when she doesn’t eat enough. He brings her flowers— lots of flowers. I have never seen a day when she didn’t have some fresh flowers in her room.

We invited him to go on vacation with us, but he wouldn’t go because he wouldn’t be able to go see my mom. Even now with the pandemic not allowing us to visit, he still won’t go away with us, just in case. He sometimes goes outside her window and puts love notes on her window. He brings her flower baskets and hangs them outside her window for her to see.

My mom tells him, “I love you”, and he tells her, “I love you more”— something that we never heard him say out loud before. Perhaps he always did in the privacy of their bedroom. I am not sure what level comes after “Superhero”, but after being married to my mom and being a father of seven for 58 years, my dad has achieved it… in spades.

GEMINI in Profile

June is the time of Gemini, the Twins, when the Spring season has decidedly turned the corner into Summer territory. From approximately May 21st to June 20th, the Sun shines through the constellation of the Twins and begins to bake the world below.

Particularly in the US, the month of Gemini is host to many celebrations and remembrances. Those who have come before us, who fought and explored for the greater good of the Nation are honored for their service during Memorial Day. Also, school children of all ages are celebrated for their hard work and accomplishments and are sent into the world of grander promises during graduation ceremonies and commencement events.

However, during this Gemini 2020 season, we’re celebrating a little differently. We must. The pace of over-scheduled, over-stimulation has come to a halt. For the past few months, students have been navigating new territory of 100% online learning instead of classroom cooperation. School-age and university students, for the first time, have not had an opportunity to share their commencement services among faculty, peers and family. A local high school allowed only the graduating student to walk across a bare stage in front of a bare auditorium to be filmed and broadcast at a later date.

Still, in the past few months, I’ve witnessed a change of pace and, in my own life, a change of atmosphere. I have been working from home. That opportunity has provided me a much-appreciated extra fifteen minutes of sleep! Also, my lunch time can be spent walking at the park close to my house rather than skirting the concrete jungles around office buildings.

The Gemini Twins represent the polarity of inside and outside – stay or explore – online or

in-person. During the month of Gemini, the solar consciousness is about exploring our local environment. I’ve certainly seen quite a (socially distanced) crowd enjoying walks in the park. Also, many of us are engaging our Intellect with more online work rather than organic exploration. However, I do make it a priority to go outside at least once daily.

The mental realm is the focus of Gemini. Fueled by the energy of Air, Gemini asks us to perceive, study, express, question and interact intellectually with our environment. Gemini’s ruling planet, Mercury, is god of communication and movement. We’re asked to examine our agility and flexibility. How well do we move about? How flexible is the mental Mind? How do we process information? What “news” do we allow to inform and shape our expressions?

On a more physical level, Gemini is the modern ruler of the lungs and the human capacity to receive the Breath of Life. This involuntary reflex of breathing is all the more critical now, when we’re experiencing this global human evolutionary shift. The COVID pandemic, though challenging, scary, frustrating and even dangerous, by some accounts, can be understood from a higher perspective. It can serve as an invitation to extend our Breath. The Gemini Twins provide an opportunity to exercise our lungs, and through our lungs, we can receive the Breath of New Life.

Each of us has Gemini energy within our personal make-up, whether we were born during the time of Gemini or not. We demonstrate Gemini attributes through our individual Soul charts (our personal Astrology natal charts) and by our personal choices.

The Astro-Energy of June 2020 bring us into eclipse season. Eclipses signal abrupt clearing and releasing. Each eclipse is a cosmic reset. We’re able to restart our engines, and particularly this June, reset our Inner Consciousness.

5 June: Lunar Eclipse 15° Sagittarius; Venus retrograde joins the Sun with great emphasis on Relationships during this Lunar Eclipse. Most Lunar Eclipses signal endings. It’s very possible that personal relationships and partnerships will come to a separating point, or at least the “old way” of relating demands a new consciousness.

18 June: Mercury Retrograde begins at 14° Cancer and stations direct on July 12 at 5° Cancer. The Mind (Mercury) travels through the Inner Sanctum of the watery Psyche (Cancer) to examine our Intuitive Intelligence. How are you listening to and acting from your Inner Voice? Mercury stations retrograde on the Sirius, the fixed star of Loyalty and Renown. Likely, you will question your loyalties to self and associates. Listen to your Inner Voice to discern what is Loyal to your destiny and what you can release with love.

Choose Your New Story

Here we are at the end of May as I am writing my monthly article—by the time you read this, it will be nearer to the end of June, and we will ALL be moving up, out and forward.

What a window of time it has been—particularly this time—because we are in a time of disruption—a time of unprecedented disruption globally—with uncertainty at every corner.

I want to say that WE are in a great place because any one of you who are reading this right now has already built a strong foundation through your levels of study. You understand how to overcome the challenges that life brings us. You have built strength, and you know how not to get caught up in the moments of anxiety that surround so many people.

Our movement forward is not only about just getting through the shift/change—it is about thriving on the backside of this model. This movement forward is about understanding the opportunities, learning and moving forward, receiving ahas and awareness, making decisions, course correcting, being happy now, being in the present moment, finding the gold in the situation we find ourselves in.

For everyone, it is a little bit different—individually, family to family, community to community, country to country, and from continent to continent.

It does not mean it is bad—it means it is different. I use the word different—we are now different.

So what we now can do— actually must do—is assess that and say “How can I be better as I have come through this shift—how can I have learned something that I will take with me for the rest of my life”—not fear, not anger, not disempowerment, not victimization. What will I do differently? We now have the opportunity to hit control/alt/ delete and RESET ourselves!

Maybe you have had the time to join more deeply that spiritual vibration that is happening all over the planet as we speak— the Awakening. This is the most profound opportunity, and that is why I am so excited. I invite you to see the GOLD, the WINS, the NEW, and AMAZING SHIFTS that are happening all over the planet.

We are on the leading edge, and what does that mean? Abraham/Hicks describes it in many ways—one way is: It is the eager and joyful embracing the next step, the next creation, the next passion with appreciation and pleasure and enthusiasm—it is creative energy at its best.

So, what scenario would represent your higher joy, your higher health, your higher thriving, your higher evolution? What do you choose your new story to be?

Now place your attention on the energy center of your heart. And, now, at the energy vortex outside of your body—just in front of your breastbone. It is here that the frequency of heart-centered consciousness is focused. Visualize this energy center as a sphere of brilliant white light 4” in front of the center of your chest.

Imagine and become aware of the air around that you—that it is filled with vital life energy, like a white mist that fills the space around you. Begin to inhale quantities of it into your heart’s energy center using your mental power of visualization. As you take a deep breath, see the mist-like vital energy within you, direct it outwards into your heart’s energy center just in front of your chest. On the out-breath, see the white light of this focused, vital life energy charging the sphere of that energy center with its brilliant power. Repeat the breath cycle nine times.

Allow yourself to feel a sense of loving appreciation— appreciation for your soul, for being alive, for simply existing, and for being in the flow of the adventures of life.

Now see the energy of your heart chakra as a miniature Sun, radiating outward and yet being continuously replenished by the unlimited supply of Love that fills the Universe. Move the bright ball of energy to your third eye and expand the light and transmit the light, spreading through your home, your neighborhood, your community, your country, your state, your region, your country, your continent, through the oceans, enveloping all continents, the entire planet and out into the Universe. With intention and unconditional Love, feel the words as I speak them ….

We are Infinite Being We are One—the many make up the One, and the One is mirrored in the Many We live in the World of our Vision We are one with the Universal

Mind and this Mind is perfect We are all-encompassing consciousness
