Having worked with Adele’s current Production and Design Teams on her Las Vegas residency, Weekends with Adele, since 2022 Neg Earth Lights were delighted to provide lighting and rigging services for Adele in Munich this summer
Adele in Munich was staged in a bespoke, 80,000capacity stadium at Messe München in Munich, Germany with a performance area of 14,400m² and performance zone of 120m².
We supplied 22 trucks of lighting and rigging equipment, delivering 52,000 metres of cable, 388 chain hoists, 1,465 metres of truss and 2,217 lighting fixtures
The vast lighting design, together with 12,621 pixels of 6mm LED tape, were controlled by a sophisticated system comprising 3 x Grand MA3 Full-Size consoles, 2 x Grand MA3 Light consoles, 14 x Large and 13 x Medium MA3 Processing Units ensuring the design team were provided with seamless control.
Undaunted by scale, Neg Earth Lights took on the challenge to implement an effective follow spot system, in an arena where the spot towers are a 128metre throw to the stage, head on zactrack allowed for Adele to be tracked seamlessly and, whilst the environment pushed the technology to its limit, by utilising our strong supplier relationships, Neg Earth Lights were able to bring specialists onboard to specify and implement the system to great success.
Our extensive experience providing lighting and rigging systems for high profile, outdoor events mean we never underestimate the impact, and unpredictability, of the weather Reliability of the lighting system is paramount, and our extensive portfolio of IP65-rated fixtures allowed us to provide the design team with an exceptionally robust system without compromising the design outcomes.

“Neg Earth Lights and the crew deserve a medal of honour This was a monster to create and build and maintain, and they have done an amazing job; it was a pleasure to work with them and we couldn’t have done it without their teams.”
“In addition to 2,200 lighting products, including atmospherics, Neg Earth Lights Crew Chief, Keith Johnson, supervised a team of 19 members of crew during the load-in and nine members across the course of the shows. “It’s not a difficult show, there is just an awful lot of it!” he exclaimed.
