Educating CHILD The Academy of Notre Dame offers co-educational programming for 2.9 years of age through Grade 8 on a 200-acre campus eight miles from Lowell and just over the border from southern New Hampshire.

EARLY YEARS: Pre-K– Kindergarten 2 Educating the whole child for life.

• Safe and supportive, 3-tiered early childhood program starting at 2.9 years of age by September 1st.

• Curricula focuses on fine and gross motor skills, independent interaction in groups & fun hands on activities that keep students moving!

• Students will develop skills to build character values, friendships, self-esteem and kindergarten readiness.

• State-of-the-art technology including mini-makerspace, iPads, Bee-Bot © early coding and Osmo™ game system.

DREN since 1854 LOWER SCHOOL: GRADES 1– 5 Fostering skill sets while nurturing imagination and curiosity.

• Challenging curriculum that promotes creativity, critical thinking and collaboration.

• Small classes to support individual learning needs.

• Makerspace for project-based learning with a focus on STEM. • Class specials include art, music, world languages, computer science and health and wellness.

• Options for extended day, enrichment, vacation and summer programs.

MIDDLE SCHOOL: GRADES 6– 8 Mastering virtues of hard work, respect, social justice and service to others.

• STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics) project-based learning that promotes critical thinking, problem-solving and collaboration.

• REACH Program for advanced study for those students who qualify.

• Life skills classes on time-management, organizational management and character development.

• Opportunities for community service, leadership roles and athletics, including participation on some NDA Junior Varsity teams.

Tykes & Tales Tuesdays at NDA Offered from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month when school is in session.

Designed for children ages 2 to 5 years old.
