EL, HERE WE ARE, THE START OF ANOTHER YEAR WITH COVID-19 TO INTERFERE WITH OUR LIVES.
Because of the current large number of cases, we have decided to postpone the Presentation Dinner until the 9th of April. Hopefully we will have a much better picture of where this year is heading with this perpetual menace. Jan will keep you all informed of the details. Let’s hope that this is the only delay we have with the schedule of events for the year ahead.
On to some other news, events are beginning to happen now, so get out there while you can and have some fun. Our first meeting for the year will be in March, so why not plan ahead and put the date aside now? Come for dinner and stay for a chat. The meeting will be on the 11th of March at The Manningham Hotel in Bulleen. - Vicki Curry, Secretary.

NOTHER ANOTHER YEAR PASSES AND A NEW ONE BEGINS. In this time of complete uncertainty, we, the NCCA, have come through some difficult times and the future does appear to be a little easier. Attached is the Auditors report for the 2020,2021 fiscal year and we did very well. Even with the lockdowns and event cancellations, we had a profitable year to the tune of $25598.38. That’s put us in very good standings for the year ahead.
I have spent quite a bit of time on the SSS and it is moving along, albeit slowly. I have some images of the fitted engine and its attachments. It looks good, but there’s still a way to go. Keeps me busy I suppose! I do have to be mindful of the sun on hotter days though as I found out with a sunburnt bald spot on my head. Ouch! I have included a couple of images of a very nice view of a waterfall we discovered on a day trip out to Plenty Gorge. Although not at the Gorge, the roadtrip took us to the top of Sugarloaf Resevoir and on a very pleasant bush walk past a Lyrebird viewing area to the waterfall. A very pleasant outing for the day! I wonder if anyone can name the waterfall? - Gordon Ledwidge, Treasurer.

Start of another year, how exciting! Finally passed my P’s test in late December and got my new Exa the same day, very exciting! She’s been on a couple of adventures now, but needs new rocker cover gaskets which are on order at the moment. Then it’s just a few interior bits and she’s almost as good as new! I ALL,
Looks like I’ll get the Z out for a run in February which will be the first time in over two years. I spent some time over the break tidying up the floor, repairing holes, getting rid of lots of rubber gromets, repairing cracks and some spots where the floor has just worn away through years of stones flying into it. I serviced my MCAs and greased up all the bushes in the rear of the car. I also made some plates to help hold the trans tunnel together, and as I don’t have a roller, I utilised a vice and a 50-year-old tent pole to get the job done! So, under the car looks as good as it can, the top needs some love but that is a job for another time. For now, I just need to do some skids! One small reminder to send club permit forms to my work address and not the PO Box as I will get it much quicker. That address is 32 The Concord, Bundoora, Vic, 3083.
