Dear Partners,
This Corporate Report is an opportunity for us to express our gratitude to the many remarkable companies and partners who have supported Nativity Prep over the past few years. We are grateful that these partner organizations feel strongly about allocating their philanthropic funds toward our mission-driven programs.
As an independent Jesuit middle school located in Boston, Nativity Prep provides a high-quality, rigorous academic program and extensive learning support to empower students to succeed. Our commitment to our students and alumni extends from the classroom to their careers. From day one, we have committed to providing our students with uncompromised access to education and a wide range of extracurriculars, enabling them to envision a secure future not only for themselves but also for their families.
Thanks to the generosity of our loyal benefactors, Nativity Prep stays true to our promise of providing endless opportunities to boys from marginalized communities. We rely solely on the charitable contributions of individuals, companies, foundations, and organizations to be able to do the work we do and continue our mission.

Our corporate partners play a pivotal role in advancing our mission. Donating to our Annual Fund helps to strengthen the school’s academic, extracurricular, and graduate support programs. Your company can help by raising awareness of Nativity Prep, offering a Matching Gift program, and asking corporate leaders to fund a Matching Challenge. These initiatives allow companies to achieve their social responsibility and philanthropic goals and encourage a culture of giving.
Nativity Prep hosts two major fundraising events each year. In October, The Harvard Club of Boston hosts the Nativity Promise Dinner. This event is a night to celebrate and empower the young men, alumni, and future students of Nativity Prep. In June, we end our fiscal year with the Nativity Golf Classic held at the Brae Burn Country Club. Both events are crucial for raising funds for our school and provide companies with an opportunity to promote their businesses while supporting Nativity Prep.
The tuition-free model is made possible through philanthropic investment. Support our students and their families by sponsoring an individual student or an entire class by participating in the Student Scholarship Program Nativity’s commitment extends well after middle school. Graduates are offered access to financial assistance through the College Promise Program to bridge any tuition gaps. Supporting this program enables alumni to overcome financial obstacles to college attendance, persistence, and graduation.
Consider non-financial support opportunities for you and your team. There are plenty of options for mentoring, tutoring, and event participation. The Dinner Program is a great opportunity for volunteer “cooks” to provide and serve a well-balanced meal after a long day of academics and extracurriculars. The Corporate Connections program offers Nativity alumni networking opportunities, job shadowing, and internship placement.
Many companies have corporate-sponsored foundations that support projects and initiatives aligned with our mission. Does your company have one?
Benefactors to our school are investing in the future. They know that this world needs to be better, and we are the generation that has the capabilities to do that. Meeting them allows me to put a face to what I am capable of. After Nativity, I will look back and realize that we had someone in our corner routing us.
Once I was ready for internships and employment, my sponsor Mr. O’Leary made a huge impact. My first internship in college was with his company, and my first job after college was with his company.
For children and families to get this high-quality education for FREE is amazing. The support of the faculty, staff, and benefactors creates life opportunities and changes the trajectory for the boys who experience Nativity Prep.
During a Nativity event early in the year, Mr. Maresca and I talked about my plans for high school. He quickly suggested that I add Phillips Andover Academy to my list. He then offered to connect me with one of his old friends who teaches at Andover. I know for certain, without Mr. Maresca's recommendation, I wouldn't be at Andover today.
During my college years, my sponsor, Joe Turo, played a crucial role in my career development. When I was looking for internships, Joe secured an opportunity for me at his company. As a senior in college, he provided invaluable guidance, assisted with interview preparation, and meticulously reviewed my resume, ensuring I was well-prepared for my job search.
Nativity has changed the lives of many young men from Boston because of the deep commitment to educating young men shared by its parents, faculty, and benefactors. The students work hard in part because they know that there are so many people who are investing time and money in their well-being and success. This shared commitment is a powerful component of the Nativity culture that distinguishes this place from others. Nativity provides young men of color with a more positive vision of their future and provides the support, skills, and values to help them achieve it.
Nativity Prep’s unique model prepares students for success beyond graduation. Students and alumni are accompanied from enrollment through the start of their careers. They carry an enduring bond of brotherhood and a moral framework that guides and strengthens them for the rest of their lives. Nativity graduates are empowered to be successful leaders in their fields and communities.
The Graduate Support team assists with internships, networking, interview preparation, and job placement.
Alumni are eligible for financial gap funding through the College Promise program.
Graduating high school seniors are offered college placement counseling and financial aid guidance.
Frequent engagement with alumni, providing them with academic, transition, and social-emotional support.
Students receive standardized test preparation, assistance with high school placement, and financial aid counseling.
Rigorous academic programming, extended day, sports and extracurriculars, and extended year summer program.
From the moment students enroll at Nativity Prep in the 5th grade, they embark on a journey that immediately grants them uncompromised access, endless opportunities, and comprehensive support from our Graduate Support Office.
Our Graduate Support Office makes a life-long commitment to ensuring that our students thrive not only in middle school but also in high school, college, and their careers.
The Graduate Support team provides all our alumni mentoring, social-emotional, financial, and career support. Providing resources and programs, the Director and Assistant Director walk alongside our students and graduates as they embark on new journeys. As a result, each student feels supported and empowered to change their narrative.
We are proud that 100% of our graduates complete high school. Many of our students enroll in and complete postsecondary education, either at two-year or four-year institutions or pursue alternative vocational training.
