elcome to the 2021 Western Visions Art Show + Sale! We are celebrating 34 years as a nationally recognized event sharing and celebrating fine art. As a nod to our origins as a miniatures show, this year we are featuring smaller format work. By offering smaller pieces by more artists we hope to represent more diversity and reach a broader audience. We are excited to show over 140 artists in this year’s Western Visions and we are sure that their remarkable paintings and sculptures will inspire collectors, art enthusiasts, visitors, and valley residents. We love the National Museum of Wildlife Art. We have served more than 40 collective years as docent, curator, volunteers and trustees. We are honored by our association with the museum and privileged to be a part of Western Visions. This place is a passion for us and we greatly appreciate your support of this longtime Museum fundraiser. Many thanks also to the participating artists, Museum Trustees, volunteers, sponsors, and the amazing NMWA staff. You make this event possible! Our gratitude, Sue Simpson Gallagher, Western Visions Co-Chair

elcome back to Western Visions! Emerging from a year filled with uncertainty and challenges, 2021 has truly offered the opportunity to pause and funnel our energies into an exciting, refocused event. Long-time supporters will notice the modernized rebranding of Western Visions, along with artworks offered in a smaller format. Most exciting to me is the more extensive roster of esteemed participating artists. We are thrilled to include our dedicated base of regularly returning artists, new invitees, and many artists who are rejoining after several years away from the event. Our primary focus in creating this year’s fundraiser is to make the event highly accessible through a number of specific strategies. First, the smaller format artworks allow for a greater range of price points. Second, an increased number of artists provides for a wider diversity of styles, mediums, and wildlife subjects. Finally, we joined forces with GraVoc (a technology partner from Peabody, MA) to develop a custom platform that allows patrons to join the event virtually while providing a welcome return to our historical “intent to purchase” format. We are excited to welcome art enthusiasts from all over the world. Whether an established collector or an emerging art enthusiast, we are proud to offer something for everyone in 2021. Now in our 34th year, Western Visions owes its successful legacy to many different groups within our art community. It is my honor to work side by side with the artists, volunteers, Museum staff, Trustees, patrons, and generous sponsors to bring this event to life. Thank you to everyone for your continued support and enthusiastic participation this year! With great appreciation, Michelle Dickson, Director of Programs & Events National Museum of Wildlife Art NATIONAL MUSEUM OF WILDLIFE ART 5
