Eshak recounted instances from his childhood- the struggles of attaining education in the absence of basic amenities- and remarked that the present time was a better time for education. He encouraged the students to aspire to stand on their feet and not depend on the government for jobs. The chief guest was also lamented the attitude of government employees in the state saying there were people who have never seen their place

of posting and teachers who never attend classes but keep proxies. Eshak maintained such people were committing sins. He said that the government was always blamed for insincerity of employees and teachers and urged the children to be sincere in everything they do. Eshak noted that the purpose of education was lost if no matter how educated a person is if the person lacks patience, tolerance and sincerity. Further, he congratulated the students for their success and lauded them for bringing laurels to the community, and encouraged them to become active members in building a good Naga society. Earlier, keynote address was delivered by Trustee MAT, Er.Moa Aier, while God’s blessing was invoked by director, Nagaland Missions Movement, Rev.Andrew Semp.
