A warm welcome to our newest care team members Hardeep Gill and Sam Chamings. We look forward to supporting you to deliver outstanding service to our clients.
A big thank you to all our Caregivers who have attended the First Aid and CPR training, as well as those who have attended one of our Salesforce app trainings. We appreciate your assistance with making the transition to align with Healthcare Australia a smooth one.
At the start of last month we celebrated Aged Care Employee Day. Thank you to everyone for coming along to our afternoon tea events, we appreciate all the hard work you put into helping our clients live independently in their homes for longer.
Please be aware that Wendy Lewis-Baida has now left My Care Solution after 4 years of dedication and support working as the Quality and Complicance Coordinator. Her role will be absorbed into the broader HCA governance and quality team as we transition to the HCA standards, systems, and processes. Wendy shares her thanks to MCS staff for the collaboration and camarderie, and hopes to cross paths with everyone again in the future.
As always, we thank you for making a difference in the lives of our clients.
Kindest regards
Moti Naral, Chief Executive Officer
First Aid Training
During August and September, many Caregivers have or will complete their First Aid or CPR Training if required.
For those who completed the First Aid, a mighty congratulations on completing both the online Theory Assessment and Practical Assessments.
We hope that this added skill set to your Caregiver role was well received. We have received great feedback about our Caregivers being engaged and very supportive to each other during the training sessions.
“ First Aid, whether it’s a minor situation or something more serious, first aid knowledge will give you the confidence to act. You could be the difference between life and death. ”
Salesforce App Training
A big thank you for the team who have organised the Salesforce app training for our Caregivers, and thank you also to all the Caregivers for attending a training session.
We appreciate your support during this time of transition to Salesforce as we align ourselves with Healthcare Australia.
Aged Care Employee Day
On Wednesday August 7th, we celebrated Aged Care Employee Day. A fantastic opportunity for us all to get together to appreciate one another and celebrate the joy we get to experience working in aged care.
The day was celebrated by hosting afternoon tea across our Campbelltown, Morphett Vale, and Victor Harbor offices, where games were played and the laughter was contagious.
Thank you to everyone that contributed some food on the day and helped organise decorations and games to make the day special!

Staff Profile: Richard Staff Corner
Richard - Client Care
Coordinator
How did you get started in the aged care industry?
In the UK I was Operations Director for a military charity (residential neuro rehab hospital). But moved to Australia
nearly 10 years ago for a better work/ life balance - I find HCP case management allows that good work life balance whilst also giving that rewarding feeling that you’re helping and making a positive difference to the lives of others - and that fundamentally you’re part of a larger team effort.
Which My Care Solution value do you align with the most and why?
Humour - Our values are all equally important. But providing it’s mindful of others and doesn’t supersede professionalism, there’s always a place for a good dad joke.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
An Architect - I have always had a passion for design in general, but architecture in particular.
What is your favourite thing to do in Adelaide?
Museum, library, and art gallery - generally hanging out along North Terrace. Outside of the CBD is definitely spending time in the beaches of the southern suburbs.
How do you take care of yourself outside of work?
Spending time with my children. I recently finished restoring a classic Mercedes and now I am looking for the next project to keep me busy.
Pet Feature
From Pet Parent and Client Services Coordinator Bec Hibbert.
“I have two Border Collies, Barry (white face) and Bailey. Both are about 10/11 years old. I didn’t get them from puppies but from when they were about 2 years old. A family was moving and couldn’t keep Bailey, and Barry was a shearer’s dog but didn’t work the farm just was always tied to a truck so they became my babies.
Barry is a big boof-head, he just wants to eat and chase the ball and would do it 24/7 if you let him. Bailey pretends he is the goodest boy and will suck up to you and shake your hand but is bossy and the sneaky one who opens doors and lets them in to steal my food i.e. a WHOLE loaf of sour dough bread with kalamata olives while I was out one day. (bet they had sore bellies after that). They are both scared of storms and are really the sookiest of boys, and love to go for walkies and make new friends.”
We’re always looking for more Caregivers!
If you have a friend or family member that you believe would be a natural Caregiver, MCS are offering an incentive of $300 to any staff member who directly refers an applicant for the role of a Caregiver.
The application must be successful and 50 Caregiving hours must be completed in order to receive the incentive. There are no limits on how many referrals are made.
Please email maria.nye@mycaresolution.com.au if you have any queries.
