Finally, we’re always looking for more Caregivers, so we encourage you to make use of our Caregiver Referral Program, review our new Caregiver requirements, and get your friends on board so you can receive a $300 thank you for supporting My Care Solution.
As always, we thank you for making a difference in the lives of our clients.

New Roles in the office Staff Corner
A couple of new roles have been created in recent months to assist in encouraging new client growth and supporting our Caregivers, keep reading to learn more.
Business Relationship Lead
The role of the Business Relationship Lead is to manage the enquiries that come to MCS and to turn these people into clients for us.
They conduct consults, information sessions, and lead any pop ups. They nurture the relationships of enquiring individuals so that whether it’s now or in 6 months time, the enquirer is persuaded to sign with us.
Kay Wisdom
Previously a MCS Client Care Coordinator
Based in Campbelltown
I have been working in the aged care industry for 9yrs in various roles such as rostering, Customer Care Manager for the CHSP and HCP programs. I am very passionate about helping people in particular our most vulnerable in the community.
I have been in customer service since I was 14yrs old and have learnt so much about dealing with all different personalities which has given me more confidence and made me a stronger person.
I enjoy going camping especially in the Flinders Ranges with my husband/family and friends. I also enjoy spending time with my husband and my 2 Cavalier King Charles dogs Feebee and Buddy taking them for walks and playing ball in the backyard. I like doing craft activities and listening to music.
Lisa Rosevear
Previously a MCS Client Care Coordinator
Based in Campbelltown
I am very excited to be taking on the new role to My Care Solution as a Business Relationship Lead. I look forward to the challenges this presents and being able to promote and sign up new clients to a business that cares. I have been working in the aged care industry for the last 19 years taking on different roles during this time, carer, client care coordinator, and assessor for My Aged Care.
In my spare time my husband and I enjoy going riding through the hills on our motorbike with friends. We also love to take our 1964 T-Bird out cruising but this is very much dependent on the weather. I love to spend time with my family which now includes the cutest little 16month old grandson. One of my great passions is gardening, this allows me to step back, relax and appreciate the small things.
Gillian Buchanan
Previously a MCS Client Care Coordinator
Based in Morphett Vale
I started off working as an RN in hospitals and then district nursing in Galsgow.
After a few years I emigrated to New Zealand and worked in a remote area of the North Island for a few years before arriving in Australia. I worked for years in community nursing before deciding I needed a change. Case management allows for a better work/life balance whilst also being very rewarding.
I am very passionate about this role and believe I can have a positive impact on the people I visit in their own homes. The values of MCS resonate with me, offerring humour, compassion, and responsive care is very important. I am excited about my new position as a Business Relationship Lead, and also the other new position that fundamentally we are all part of a larger team effort.
Adelaide is a great place to live - I enjoy long beach walks, checking out new places to eat and of course a good wine tour. I love a netflix night, I watch a lot of true crime documenatries and enjoy a good book.
Sue Wiese
Previously a MCS Client Care Coordinator
Based in Victor Harbor
I started in the aged care industry 22 years ago. I travelled from Victor Harbor to Adelaide daily for the first 5 years, I even had a bedroom set up for me in the office as I slept there 2 nights per week - those were the good old days.
I now have a new position within MCS as Business Relationship Lead. I have some great projects up my sleep. Keep your eye out for me!

Service Delivery Team Leader
The Service Delivery Team Leader role has been created to support our Caregivers in their role of servicing our clients. They are there to support you with any concerns you may have, assist you with using the technologies associated with the role, and ensure you’re able to undertake your role to the best of your abilities.
Colleen Hands
Previously a MCS Client Care Coordinator
My previous working history includes working as an Enrolled Nurse in Rehabilitation, followed by nearly 30 years as an Enrolled Nurse in an Aged Care Facility (yes I am that old). I started in Community Aged Care in 2013 with Anglicare. I commenced with Home Instead Senior Care in 2016 as a Coordinator caring for private clients. At that stage Home Instead had no Home Care Package clients. I continued in this role when HISC closed its Adelaide office and My Care Solution was founded.
Outside of work I like reading crime/murder mysteries, going for walks/hiking, markets, op-shopping, going out to dinner and movies.
Leonie McCallum
Previously a MCS Client Care Coordinator
I accepted this role when it was presented to me because I wanted to work with the MCS Caregivers to pass on my knowledge and experience as I have worked in the healthcare industry for some times which includes working as a Caregiver for Home Instead and My Care Solution, community nursing and Client Care Coordination in home care. I’m really looking forward to working with everyone and supporting you in your Caregiver role.
Over the past few weeks, it’s been nice to meet a lot of you over the phone or at one of the recent training sessions. Your willingness to embrace the new system has made working together easier and it must always be remembered that we should keep our focus on our clients so that we can support them within their home.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading novels, spending time with my family and browsing through Op shops.
