CLASS RANK

Due to our rigorous college preparatory program and the small size of our senior class, Miami Valley Christian Academy does not rank students numerically. We believe that a number is often misleading since small differences in grade point averages can produce significant differences in rank.

GRADING SYSTEM

Miami Valley Christian Academy uses a weighted grade point system based on a traditional four-point system. Grade point averages are weighted as follows: Honors are weighted a .5 in the grade point calculation. Advanced Placement (AP) courses are weighted 1.0 in the grade point calculation. MVCA uses a 10 point grade scale to configure letter grades.
