NO ALCOHOL, TOBACCO OR OTHER DRUGS:

Alcohol, tobacco and other drugs are negative factors that harm our lifestyle. The consumption of these substances can cause many diseases and certain types of cancer. In the case of tobacco, apart from heart attacks, chronic bronchitis, etc., it produces a huge dependence that is caused by the nicotine it contains, so eliminating them from our day to day will be the best option to maintain a good, healthy life.

DO SPORT:

Doing sport is a really healthy habit. It helps your mental health and you may feel more productive after doing it. It also helps your cardiovascular health and helps prevent cardiac diseases or diabetes. Doing sport also helps you to maintain a healthy weight and prevent obesity. It has a lot more positive consequences for you such as reducing your arterial pressure, preventing certain types of cancer such as breast, colon and lung. It also helps you to have more strength in your muscles, improves your flexibility and relieves stress. It has a lot more benefits and it´s really fun exercising yourself and setting goals! Specialists recommend between 30 minutes and 1 hour of exercise 5 days a week so it doesn`t really take you a long time and will have many benefits for your health.

GOOD HYDRATION:

Maintaining good hydration is an action that promotes a healthy life. Water cleanses and purifies us from the inside, so you know there is no excuse not to drink water and feel better. It also helps your kidneys. The main toxin in the body, blood urea nitrogen, passes through your kidneys. This is a water-soluble waste that is excreted in the urine. This means that you need enough water in your body to carry out this process in the correct way. Water maintains body temperature, drinking water frequently protects organs, helps to have healthy skin, protects the spinal cord and other sensitive tissues, can help control calories, and lubricates and cushions the joints. Further benefits of drinking water are that it prevents constipation, eliminates bacteria from the bladder, carries nutrients and oxygen to the cells, normalizes blood pressure, stabilizes the heartbeat, increases your physical performance, and improves your mind.

HEALTHY DIET:

A healthy diet is achieved by eating the correct amount of food in the correct proportion, consistently. Eating an adequate proportion of foods from the main groups constitutes the basis of daily well-being, and will reduce the risk of diseases (Anemia, Cardiovascular Diseases, Caries, Hypercholesterolemia, Arterial Hypertension, obesity, Colon Cancer, Osteoporosis, Diabetes ....). Reducing the consumption of saturated fats, sugars as well as salt will help us to maintain a healthy diet, which is essential if we want our body and mind to be in shape. Sport, along with a proper diet, are two of the fundamental aspects that we must take into account and apply from this moment to our day-to-day life. Eating a

healthy diet is not the same as stopping eating!!!!

SLEEP 7 OR 8 HOURS DAILY:

Resting is fundamental for our body and mind to work properly during the day. When we rest, our body recovers the concentration, our mental capacity gets better, and we recover energy. Lack of sleep affects our health, so it is recommended to sleep more than 7 hours a day. In the case of children, more time is required (between 10 and 12 hours). A good sleep schedule will allow us to be more active during the day with more energy and it also contributes to our happiness.
