Claire Droegemeier as JoJo

Claire is thrilled to be playing JoJo in Seussical Jr. for her MTWichita debut! When she’s not acting, singing, or dancing, Claire enjoys playing piano, baking, and spending time with friends and family.

Lucas Grief as Horton

Lucas is a 14-year-old, homeschooled freshman. He has been performing on stage since he was 8 years old. He, most recently, played Buddy in Elf the Musical with CPTheatre. Playing the role of Horton is a “bucket list” role, as he played JoJo with CPTheatre in 2019. His favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:31.

Goldie Lane as Mayzie

Goldie is so excited to play Mayzie in MTWichita's production of Seussical Jr.! Her most recent role was Cyndi Gibson in Andover Central High School’s Back To The 80’s. She would like to thank her family, friends, and her voice teacher for all the support.

Niomi Ndirangu as Gertrude

Niomi is ecstatic to be in Seussical Jr. as Gertrude McFuzz. She is involved in Theater, Encore, KAY (President), NHS (Board Member). She is most known for her title as Miss Kansas’ Outstanding Teen. This is her 3rd show with MTWichita and enjoys volunteering, traveling, and performing.

McKayla Stacey as Sour Kangaroo

McKayla is excited to be in her first MTYP show! Some of her favorite shows she’s been in include Big Fish, Newsies, and Elf. You can also see her in the most recent season of American Idol! She would like to give huge thanks to her family for their support. Enjoy the show!

Blair Baeza as Young Kangaroo

Blair is a 5th grader at Horace Mann. This is her third MTWichita show. Her favorite roles are Young Elsa in Frozen Jr. and Dodger in Oliver Jr. In her free time she enjoys playing tennis, speaking Spanish with her dad, and singing and dancing with her mom. Enjoy the show!

Clara Stover-Brown as Mrs. Mayor

Clara is super excited to be in another MTW/MTYP production! She has been in 5 of its shows including The SpongeBob Musical as Sandy Cheeks! Clara is a freshman at Maize South High School. She wants to thank her family and amazing vocal coach Injoy Fountain for their continuous support!

Daniel Kinnane as Mr. Mayor

Daniel is a sophomore at Andover High School and participates in track, swimming, cross country, and theatre. He is a church counselor for Eastminster church. His favorite thing to do is sing songs from musicals.

Addi Rains

Addi Rains is in eighth grade at Moundridge Middle School. Addi is excited to be a part of her third show with MTW/MTYP. At Moundridge, Addi participates in Choir, Band, Quiz Bowl, and Student Council. Addi hopes you enjoy your trip to the magical world of Suess!

Montana Roberts

Montana is excited to be in his 5th MTWichita show and his first year in the Rising Stars Youth Ensemble. He was seen recently in the 2022 LIVE Holiday Special. He attends school in Valley Center, loves playing video games, and has turned an entire room into a LEGO city.

WHO'S WHO Camden McQuilliam

This is far from Camden's first show, but the first one where she's been a villain. Previously, she's been the lead in The Phantom Tollbooth, as well as Patchy in The SpongeBob Musical! Props to Stephanie Shelden, her voice teacher! Enjoy your trip into the Jungle of Nool!

Lexye Collins as Cat

Lexye is thrilled to be playing Cat! This is a bittersweet show, as Seussical Jr. is her last show with MTYP. She would like to thank her family, friends, and teachers, Injoy Fountain, Amy Menas, KDA, Josh Larson, Brian Marcum, and Kim Gee Vines. Don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened!

Olivia Hull as Thing 1

I’m Olivia! Aka Thing 1! I’m so excited to be involved in my first MTW/ MTYP production! I enjoy dancing, singing, and acting. Enjoy the show!

Raegan Eskridge as Thing 2

Raegan is 15 years old and has been doing theatre for 4 years. She is so excited to be in Seussical Jr. as Thing 2 and is grateful to God for giving her this amazing opportunity. She can’t wait to see what the next step is!

Christiane Short

Christiane is extremely excited to be a part of Seussical Jr. She has participated in school shows, but this will be her first show outside of Andover Central High School. Her most recent role was Feargull McFerrin in Back to The 80’s. She would like to thank her high school theatre teacher, family, and voice teacher for all their help and support!

Malea Olsen

Malea is excited to be in Suessical Jr.! This is her 5th show with MTW/MTYP. Malea enjoys singing, playing soccer, and traveling to new places!

Marley Vest

Marley is a 15-year-old homeschooled sophomore. She has been in 14 productions, but this is her first with MTW/MTYP! Her favorite roles have been Katherine in Newsies, and Jovie in Elf! She is a proud member of The Studio and the Maize High Select Choir. Enjoy the show!

Maryam Doukali

Maryam is really excited to do Seussical Jr. this year because this is her first show with MTYP. This is her 6th show and hopes to do more in the future. Special thanks to her parents, grandparents, her lovely sisters, and to Donald Fisher Jr. and Denise Gibbens.

Abigail Metcalf

Abi is ecstatic to be portraying a Bird Girl in Seussical Jr.! Abi has also played in Schoolhouse Rock, Best Little Theater In Town, Shrek the Musical, and The SpongeBob Musical. Thank you for coming to the show!

Abigail Skubitz

Abigail is excited to be in Seussical Jr. She’s a seventh-grade student and she is involved in her school’s activities. She has been in Frozen, The Wizard of Oz, A Christmas Carol, and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. She loves theater and singing, and she hopes you enjoy the show!

Anna Marler

Anna is a fourth grader at Wichita Montessori. This is her third theatre production. When not rehearsing or performing, she enjoys math, basketball, and fantasy novels.

Aubree Kupper

Aubree is a 6th grader at Challenger Intermediate School. She is involved in photography for the school yearbook. She is excited about her first show with MTWichita. When Aubree is not at school, she enjoys hanging out with her friends, playing with animals, and helping others.

Bailey Norris

Bailey is excited to be in Seussical Jr. This is her first show with MTWichita! She is a 5th grader at Circle Greenwich Elementary. She loves being with her friends, playing soccer, and doing art.

Barron Dyer

Barron is excited to be in his first show with MTWichita. Barron is a 5th grader at St. Mark. He recently performed with Andale High School Theatre in Seussical (Wickersham Brother) and Beauty and the Beast Jr. (Maurice). Barron enjoys taking hip-hop and tap at Encore! Dance Studios.

Brielle Ives

The stage is where Brielle loves to be. Her love for the stage started at the age of 2. Brielle participated in The Wizard of Oz, The LIVE Holiday Special and now Seussical Jr. with MTWichita and each show becomes her new favorite. She participated in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever with Wichita Children's Theater.

Brooklyn Bobetsky

Brooklyn is a goofy freshman and is very excited about her first show with MTWichita! She enjoys hanging out with friends and tap dancing. She would love to thank all of the directors and the rest of the cast for the hard work they have put in to making this a great show.

Brooklyn Giefer

Brooklyn is a 6th Grader at St. Peter’s Catholic School. This is her second MTW/MTYP show. She enjoys singing, piano, anything creative, and hanging out with her cousins. She wants to dedicate this performance to Grams and Grandma Marilyn - two of her biggest fans. We know they are still watching from the best seat in the house.

Caroline Shire

Caroline is a 3rd grader at Christa McAuliffe Academy. She is excited about her first show with MTWichita. Caroline has been acting for 2 years. Her favorite role and show to date is Tessie in Annie. In her free time, she loves to go fishing.

Cassidy Martin

Cassidy is thrilled to be in Seussical Jr. (again!). She is an 8th grader at Eisenhower Middle School and loves being on the yearbook staff. She has been performing with MTW/MTYP for 5 years and some of her favorite shows have been Newsies, Peter Pan, The SpongeBob Musical, and of course, Seussical Jr.! Enjoy!

Charlotte Bryant

Charlotte is excited to be in another MTWichita production. She is a 4th grader at Minneha and loves gymnastics, art, writing, and singing with her sister. When Charlotte grows up, she wants to perform in Cirque du Soleil or be a costume designer.

WHO'S WHO Edith Bryant

Edith is very excited to be in Seussical Jr.! She is a second grader at Minneha who loves gymnastics, giraffes, and playing with friends. She wants to work with animals when she grows up.

Em Hodges

Em is a student at Derby North Middle School and has entertained others since they could walk. You may remember them as the “Rock and Roll” Electric Skate in SpongeBob the Musical or various roles at Wichita Children’s Theater. They would like to thank their family for being so supportive and their voice coach, Injoy Fountain, who helped get them where they are today.

Emma Stuhlsatz

Emma is excited for her first production with MTWichita! Some of her favorite roles have included Ms. Teavee (Willy Wonka Jr.), Ms. Phelps (Matilda Jr.), and Kelsi (High School Musical Jr.). When she is not on stage, she enjoys art, volleyball, and tennis. She is grateful to her friends and family for their constant support.

Grace Ricke

Grace Ricke is thrilled to perform in her 5th play. Grace loves being in StuCo, sewing, and being a Drama Club Director at her school. Grace would like to thank her family and friends who have come to watch and the ones who have been by her side this entire show.

Hallie Spieckermann

Hallie is a Junior at Maize South High School. Besides theatre, she is at work, hanging out with friends, and singing and dancing with her choir at school. This is her first show with MTWichita and she’s super excited! She hopes you enjoy the show!

Isabella Kieffer

Isabella is excited to be in her second MTWichita musical. Her other performances include MTWichita's Frozen Jr., Wichita Children's Theater's A Christmas Carol, and Amy Menas' Studio Singers. Isabella wants to thank her family, friends, and Amy Menas for their support, as well as MTWichita for the opportunity!

Isabella Wells-Lee

Isabella is excited to be a part of Seussical Jr. This is her second show with MTWichita. She is currently a 4th grader at Stone Creek Elementary and is a part of the competition company at Midwest Dance Mechanix. Isabella loves doing acrobatics, singing, and dancing.

Ivy Sailing

Ivy is nine years old and in third grade. This is her first time on stage with MTWichita; she is so excited! She loves to dance, sing, tumble, and play the piano.

Izzy Lehman

Izzy is thrilled to be part of Seussical Jr.! This is her 6th production with MTWichita! She is a 6th grader at Blessed Sacrament where she also plays clarinet, basketball, and volleyball. She would like to thank her parents and vocal teacher, Heidi Biever, for their support!

Jillian Hale

Jillian is a 5th grader at Martin Elementary and is excited to be performing in her fifth show. Jillian enjoys dancing at MDM, voice lessons with Amy Menas, piano lessons with Janette Rupert, and math. She is grateful for the support of family and friends.

Juliette Falo

Juliette can’t wait for her friends and family to see her in Seussical Jr.! She has done many other shows with MTW/MTYP, including Frozen Jr., Matilda, Newsies, and The SpongeBob Musical. Juliette is also very involved with the performing arts at her school. Enjoy the show!

Kayla Hill

Kayla attends school in Maize. She is excited to be back in the theater and performing with MTWichita. She enjoys traveling, hanging out with friends and family, singing, and learning different languages.

Kyndall Carson

Kyndall is a third grader at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton school. She is excited to be in her third MTWichita show. Her favorite roles on stage have been Moana in Moana Jr., and Young Anna in Frozen Jr. When Kyndall is not on stage she is playing basketball, volleyball, or softball.

Laura Steichen

Laura is thrilled to perform in her first MTW/MTYP production! She loves being on stage and participates in a variety of acting, singing, and dance classes. Her most recent role was JoJo in WCTDC’s Seussical Kids, so she’s excited to revisit familiar songs with a new cast and crew!

Leila Callan

Leila is excited to join the cast of Seussical Jr. as her first-ever show with MTWichita! She was previously featured on the Sterling College Theater stage as Les in Newsies. In addition to musical theater, Leila enjoys soccer, reading, and playing video games.

Lily is in 7th grade at St Thomas Aquinas. She’s excited to be in her 3rd show with MTWichita and loves dance, music, theatre, and hanging out with friends.

Lily Wilson

Lily Wilson is stoked for the opportunity to be in Seussical Jr. This is her first show with MTWichita but has had prior roles in MTYP shows such as Ogre Fiona in Shrek and Billy Jukes in Peter Pan. Many thanks go out to her family who supports her passion.

Madilynn Pawloski

Madilynn is thrilled to be in the ensemble of Seussical Jr. This is her third show with MTWichita. Previously, she was in Frozen Jr. And SpongeBob the Musical. She enjoys singing, drawing, and bowling. Enjoy the show!

Madison Schulte

Madison is a Junior at Eisenhower High School. In her free time, she likes playing tennis, being a part of her school’s broadcasting staff, and going out with her friends. She is so excited to be in the ensemble of Seussical Jr. and hopes you enjoy the show!

Marlee Schmeidler

Marlee is a 5th grader at Nelson Elementary and is so excited to be performing again with MTWichita. She loves theatre, dancing at KDA, playing the violin, and singing with the Studio Singers.

Mia Webster

Mia Webster is 14 years old and is so excited to be in this production of Seussical Jr. She has also done past productions with MTW/MTYP such as Shrek the Musical, Frozen Jr., and The SpongeBob Musical She also enjoys singing in her school choir and being on the student council. Enjoy the show!

Millie Jerke

Millie has enjoyed this season with the Seussical Jr. cast and crew! She loves being on stage and has been in numerous local shows since kindergarten. An ideal day for Millie would be spending time with friends & family, being crafty, and doing gymnastics.

Missoni Nicholson-Saville

Missoni is a vibrant 3rd grader at Maize. Born a mini entertainer! This is her debut performance with Music Theatre Wichita, but she is no stranger to the stage. She plans to pursue theatre while juggling all her other heart's desires! If you ask her, "This girl's going somewhere!"

Myla Berry

Seussical Jr. is Myla's second MTWichita show after last year’s Frozen Jr., and she is so excited to share the stage with this cast. Myla is in 3rd grade and enjoys tumbling class, singing, and baking!

Olive Farha

Olive is a 5th Grader at Christa McAuliffe Academy and is overjoyed to be in her third MTW/MTYP show! Most recently, she was a Munchkin in The Wizard of Oz. She loves soccer, baking, the ukulele, and singing. She wants to be on Broadway and can’t wait to put on a wonderful show!

Oliver Anderson

Seussical Jr. is Oliver's first MTWichita show, and he is so excited. He recently discovered his love of roller coasters and thrill rides at Disney World and Universal Studios. He also loves to sing, explore the world of science, and spend time with his family and at church.

Peyton Flores

Peyton, a Valley Center West second grader, made her MTWichita debut as a Munchkin last summer. She’s so excited to join the Seussical Jr. cast. She thanks her music teacher Mrs. Jervis, Heidi, and Olivia Biever for their support and encouragement, and her little brother Ben for attending LOTS of shows.

Piper Pirtle

Piper is so excited to be a part of Seussical Jr. This is her fourth show with MTWichita. She loves to sing in her school choir, and play piano, organ, and volleyball.

Quinten Recio

Quinten is thrilled about his second MTW/MTYP show! He has been involved with the choir for years! Quinten enjoys hanging out with friends and going to the beach! He would like to thank his family and friends for their support! Thanks, Amy Menas, for giving him the confidence to be on stage!

Raelynn Russell

Raelynn is excited to be in her 3rd MTW/MTYP show! She is a 5th grader at Maize South Intermediate. She loves spending time with her family, friends, and especially her cats Biscuit and Gravy. Raelynn dances at KDA and is a member of the Amy Menas Studio Singers!

Remmy is a third grader and this is her second show with MTWichita. She loves to sing, dance, perform gymnastics, and travel. She is very appreciative of this opportunity to be part of such a wonderful community!

Tessa Martin

Tessa is excited to be a part of Seussical Jr. She has previously performed in two MTWichita shows and 7 MTYP shows. This is her 8th MTYP performance, and she is happy to perform for you! Please relax and enjoy Seussical Jr

Thomas Bartkoski

Thomas recently played the lead in The Journey of the Noble Gnarble, the 2nd-grade musical at Buckner Performing Arts and Science Magnet. He’s appeared at MTWichita as Young Simon/Lola in Kinky Boots, a Munchkin in The Wizard of Oz, and a child/elf in The Live Holiday Special.

Claire Gerig Director

Claire is a local performer and director here in the 316. She directed The Wedding Singer and performed onstage as Morticia Addams in The Addams Family at the Crown Arts Collaborative. She is honored to give back to the life-changing, MTYP organization and pass on the joy of creating a story together. Thank you for supporting local art and enjoy the show!

Ryan Ehresman Choreographer

Ryan first caught the theatre bug at MTYP and is thrilled to be back! He's had the privilege of performing nationwide from Florida to Alaska, including with MTWichita and Princess Cruises. Thanks to Josh, Brian, Claire, Kristin, Chelsey, and all of the performers & parents who brought Seuss to life!

Kristin Chisham Music Director

Kristin is the Middle/High School Vocal and Musical Director at Douglass High School. She conducts the Delano Chamber Choir and the Hillside Christian Church Chancel Choir. Kristin has been a private National Teachers of Singing voice teacher for the past 27 years. Thanks to all who have given her this opportunity. Thanks to Dan, Caitlin, and Max for their support!

Benjamin Juhnke Set Coordinator/Lighting Designer

Ben has worked on 23 Seasons of Productions with MTWichita. Some of Ben’s national credits include Programmer for the Titanic National Tour and Lighting Designer for Rob Thomas. Ben runs a Disney Travel business connecting people with their Dream vacation. He would like to thank his loving wife Emily, and their two daughters Hope and Ellie for all their support.

Jacob Locke Costume Designer

Jacob became an official staff member in 2019, but has worked in the costume shop as a stitcher since 2015 and has been part of the rentals team since 2016. Jacob enjoys immaculately clean costumes that are impeccably constructed. A Wichita native, he is passionate about art in all its forms and is proud to contribute to Wichita’s vibrant arts scene.

Meghan McGehee Stage Manager

Meghan is a graduate of Kansas State University with a major in theatre and a minor in public relations. Meghan is thrilled to be back home working for a company that was influential to her theatre education as a child! She performed as a teen in MTYP's 2012 production of Seussical! Outside of theatre, Meghan enjoys crafting, fashion, and spending time with her cat.

Liesel DeWalt Production Assistant

Liesel DeWalt is excited to be Production Assistant for Seussical Jr. She has been in many MTYP shows herself and continues her vocal and theatrical training at Butler Community College! She performed in the MTWichita LIVE Holiday Special with the Butler Headliners. Liesel wants to thank the staff for giving her this opportunity. Break legs, everybody!

Kimberly Loya-Enriquez Props Master

Kimberly was introduced to Seussical Jr. in 2015 when she played the role of a bird girl during her sophomore year of High School. Kim's second run-in with this show was as a choreographer for the Jr. Drama Club at GCHS. This production marks her third time working on Seussical Jr. and she's thrilled! She only hopes you come to love this show as much as she does.

Joshua Gordon Sound Designer

Josh has enjoyed a career in theatre for twenty-five years. Some highlights include working with Mandy Patinkin, Martin Short, Hal Holbrook, and Bernadette Peters. Josh is the owner of Event Systems, working with a wide range of customers. Josh would like to thank Brian J. Marcum for the opportunity to work with this amazing Seuss music.

Michael Cole Director of Production

After working as Lighting Director and a Lighting Designer in 2021 and 2022, Michael has taken over as MTWichita's Director of Production. He relocated from New York City and has worked internationally on dance, opera, musical theatre, and corporate events. His credits include productions on Broadway, Off-Broadway, international tours, and regional theatre across the USA.

Jeremy Littlefield Technical Director

Jeremy has his MFA from Carnegie Mellon University and his BFA from Oklahoma City University. He has worked places from Texas all the way to New York. He would like to thank those who worked on this show and the 190 Local.

Joshua Larson Education Director

Joshua is eager to create a robust education program at MTWichita. He worked as the staging director for the Teen Choir & choreographer of MTW’s national audition tour. He also worked as a choreographer at WSU, Friends, various high schools, & theatres in the Wichita area. Joshua is an avid traveler & real estate agent with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty.

Jaden Kindle Education Intern

A junior studying musical theatre and dance at WSU, Jaden works at MTWichita as the Education Intern, and at Butler Community College as an adjunct professor & assistant choreographer. Mary Sue Dymak

Warehouse and Inventory Director

Born and raised in Nebraska, Mary Sue started her career with MTWichita in 1976 as Assistant Property Master. Today, Mary Sue is MTWichita’s Rentals and Inventory Director overseeing a 60,000 square feet facility and more than 70 rental packages. Mary Sue’s work assists professional and non-professional theatres as well as educational institutions nationwide.
