Hello Montana District Key Clubbers!
With the school year in full swing, I hope you'r finding your rhythm while balancing academics, activities, and, of course, service. It’s been exciting to see clubs across the district jumping into action by volunteering, hosting events, and spreading kindness. As your Bulletin Editor, I’ve been keeping up with the progress of the 2025–2026 Key Club year, and it’s clear many of you are already making a difference. The Mon-Key will highlight your efforts and provide resources to help you stay informed and involved. From service spotlights to leadership tips, this publication is here to support you.

Look out for updates on big events like DCON, new project ideas, and tools to help you grow as leaders. My goal is to make the Mon-Key something you enjoy and find truly useful on your Key Club journey.

Yours in service,

This fall, the Missoula Knights worked with the Missoula Food Bank and worked at their school’s concession stand. Additionally, the club started to promote Hellgate’s first blood drive of the year. Club members spent time signing up volunteers and making posters in preparation for the event on October 15. Participants must be 16 years or older and will join a legacy of success in school blood drives. In total, Hellgate’s chapter volunteered for about 65 hours.

On September 26th, the Butte High School Key Club participated in helping set up the Butte Homecoming.
Additionally, for the first meeting of the new school year, Butte High Key Club held a Root Beer float party.

Miles City Key Club helped with the annual Convent Keepers Community Center princess and prince tea party on Sept.14th. The party welcomed kids from across the community to participate in fun activities with the various characters and enjoy treats. The event offered many different opportunities for service such as setting up and playing the role of the many princes, princesses, or fairies; getting approximately 25 hours of service for the club.

Shout out to the Glasgow Key Club for helping a local Head Start by putting together birthday bags! These included a toy or two, cake mix, frosting, candles, and lots of other birthday supplies for those who want to provide a special birthday for their child!
Shopping was quick and fun; it took about an hour and a half for all the shopping! Glasgow Key Club has been working on and planning through this since the start of school!

Over the past 75 years, nearly $200 million has been raised through Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF, proving what young people can achieve when they unite for a cause.
Help build the Start Strong: Zambia project. Start planning a fun club activity, whether it’s going door-to-door or hosting a Trunk or Treat. $20 provides four children with early childhood stimulation materials and toys, and $57 can provide three children with quality home-based early childhood development services.

Key Club is making a meaningful impact by supporting UNICEF’s work to:
Build insakas: innovative community centers that include learning spaces, playgrounds, kitchens, water and sanitation facilities, and gardens.
Train volunteers, health workers, and teachers to help parents create nurturing, stimulating environments for young children.
Provide age-appropriate toys and books that promote healthy development and strengthen parent-child bonds.
