TALENT SHOW: If you would like to showcase your talent, there will be a talent contest at MT District Convention this March. Please plan to attend a short meeting upon arrival at DCON. Please come prepared with a brief performance ready talent to entertain your fellow members. Can't wait to see your creativity shine through!

Frenchtown, Missoula Sentinel, Missoula Hellgate, Missoula Big Sky, Loyola-Sacred Heart, Florence, & Stevensville

Florence Key Club put on their first ever "Silver Ball" dance. The Dance raised 450 dollars for charity, and took place January 17. Members of the Club averaged 10 hours of community service, and all took part in setup and takedown. Some members took care of dealing with drinks during the dance (like lotus on the rocks). Florence also hosted a silent auction with a Griz signed football and basketball. The silent auction raised 800 dollars and was supplied by our local Kiwanis Club.

Butte High, Butte Central, Anaconda, & Dillon

As February progresses, project submissions remain pending from Dillon, Butte Central, and Anaconda Key Club. The division looks forward to seeing the incredible service initiatives they will undertake as they continue to grow and make a difference through the last month Ian bray is their LTG.

Billings Senior Billings Skyview Billings

In January, the Skyview High School Key Club made a bunch of animal treats and fed them to their local puppies and kitties at Yellowstone Animal Shelter. They also made stickers for finals and put them on lollie pops that were handed the day before the first round of finals, with around 20 kids showing up.

Miles City, Glendive, Terry, Sidney

The Sidney Key Club worked with the KKids at the local Boys and Girls Club to make penguins because of all the snow they’ve been getting.

The Glendive Key Club hosted a drive for the Ronald McDonald House foundation which has since ended.They collected around 17 lb of tabs to donate.

Bozeman, Gallatin, Belgrade, Lewistown, Harlowton

The Bozeman High School Key Club worked this January to make birdhouses for the Governor’s Project! Around twenty members attended this event, which lasted for around an hour.

Havre, Malta, Glasgow, Shelby

Havre Key Club started their annual Crush Pop Sales that can be sent to any of the public schools in Havre. The money raised will be donated to a local place of their choosing.

Malta Key Club volunteer at their local Head Start once a month. Head Start has a meeting for the parents once a month. Key Club members come and watch the kids during the meeting which is approximately one hour. The Head Start students are given dinner and then play with the Key Club members. In January, they had 3 members attend.

On February 8, the Polson Key Club held a blanket and towel drive for their local animal shelter at their high school basketball game. Members contributed to making signs and spreading the word via soical media. Along with the blankets and towels they will donate $250 to the animal shelter. They also helped with the Polson Kiwanis Burgerfest event. Members helped with set up on Febraury 10 and served food on the 11.

East

Helena High, Helena High, Helena

Capital, Great Falls High, & CMR High

The Great Falls High Key Club spent time making sandwiches during their meeting for the homeless community.

Blankets were made for Florence Crittenton, a family service home, by the East Helena High Key Club.

February Service Ideas

Is your club doing a fundraiser for valentines day, or some sort of thing to spread cheer?

Sell lollipops to pass around on Valnetine’s Day Park Cleanup or any last minute Governor’s Project related servce projects

If your division hasn’t done an interclub event reach out to your LTG Shovel snow for your community Volunteer to help out with spring sport concessions
