L-Għoti ta’ Rikonoxximent għas-Servizz Pubbliku jservu bħala pjattaforma biex jonoraw individwi u proġetti eċċezzjonali li għamlu kontributi notevoli lill-amministrazzjoni pubblika. Fost in-nominati stmati għall-Għoti ta’ Rikonoxximent għas-Servizz Pubbliku, l-App mySocialSecurity rebħet l-Aħjar Soluzzjoni Diġitali. Din l-inizjattiva, immexxija mill-Unità tal-Immaniġġjar tal-Informazzjoni

(IMU) tal-Ministeru għall-Politika Soċjali u Drittijiet tat-Tfal (MSPC), bidlet b’mod sinifikanti s-servizzi taċ-ċittadini billi ppromwoviet l-innovazzjoni, l-aċċessibbiltà, u kbira lill-aċċessibilità, is-sigurtà u l-konvenjenza. L-App mySocialSecurity tippermetti liċ-ċittadini jinnavigaw bla xkiel f'servizzi personalizzati, inklużi kalkulaturi u għażliet self-service, u b'hekk tiffaċilita l-ġestjoni tad-dettalji personali kif ukoll l-istima tal-benefiċċji. Dan l-avvanz teknoloġiku mhux biss saħħaħ l-effiċjenza għaċ-ċittadini iżda ssimplifika wkoll l-operazzjonijiet għad-Dipartiment tas-Sigurtà Soċjali. mySocialSecurity ippermettiet liċ-ċittadini jinteraġixxu mad-Dipartiment għas-Sigurtà mod aktar effiċjenti, billi offriet pjattaforma aċċessibbli u konvenjenti. Barra minn hekk, dan l-approċċ iċċentrat fuq ċittadini għall-għoti tas-servizz, rawwem ’ servizz pubbliku aktar effiċjenti, li ġġenerat impatt pożittiv fuq is-soċjetà kollha kemm permezz ta’ effiċjenza mtejba u l-għoti pubbliku, billi pprijoritizzaw l-aċċessibbiltà, l-effiċjenza u l-innovazzjoni. Il-proġett mySocialSecurity ta bidu għal bidla trasformattiva fis-servizzi taċ-ċittadini, li ħalla impatt dejjiemi fuq is-soċjetà. Ir-rikonoxximent bħala l-Aħjar Soluzzjoni Diġitali fil-Premjijiet tas-Servizz Pubbliku 2023 mhux biss jivvalida l-isforz tagħna, iżda jservi wkoll bħala ispirazzjoni għal oħrajn biex jadottaw approċċi simili, li jwassal għal aktar avvanzi fl-amministrazzjoni pubblika u l-benesseri taċ-ċittadini.

Is-suċċess tal-App mySocialSecurity huwa evidenti fir-riżultati tanġibbli tagħha. Tejbet sostanzjalment il-kwalità u l-puntwalità tas-servizzi, li rriżultat f’ħinijiet ta’ stennija mnaqqsa u żieda fl-użu tas-servizzi online.

Iċ-ċittadini jistgħu jiffrankaw ħin prezzjuż u sforz billi jagħmlu użu minn firxa ta’ għażliet ta’ self-service, li jagħtuhom aċċess 24/7 għas-servizzi tas-sigurtà soċjali. Barra minn hekk, l-implimentazzjoni tal-awtentikazzjoni tal ID fi ħdan l-App saħħet il-miżuri ta’ sigurtà, u naqqset b’mod sinifikanti r-riskju ta’ frodi u serq tal-identità.

App mySocialSecurity sfruttat b'suċċess potenzjal tad-data u t-teknoloġija biex tikseb riżultati pożittivi. Billi noffru servizzi komprensivi online u bl-użu tal-kalkulaturi, ċittadini issa huma mgħammra biex jieħdu deċiżjonijiet infurmati sew dwar il-benefiċċji sigurtà soċjali tagħhom. Barra minn hekk, disinn responsiv tal-App jiżgura kompatibilità fuq diversi apparat.

Xejn minn dan ma kien ikun possibbli mingħajr l-appoġġ imprezzabbli u l-għoti tas-setgħa li ngħataw mis-Segretarju Permanenti stmat tagħna, kif ukoll it-Tim eċċezzjonali tas-Sigurtà Soċjali fi ħdan il-MITA, li d-dedikazzjoni u l-kollaborazzjoni tagħhom kienu dejjem strumentali f’dan il-vjaġġ.

This initiative, led by the Information Management Unit (IMU) of the Ministry for Social Policy and Children's Rights (MSPC), has significantly transformed citizen services by promoting innovation, accessibility, and efficiency.

The mySocialSecurity App has elevated citizen services to new heights by placing utmost importance on accessibility, security, and convenience. The mySocialSecurity App seamlessly enables citizens to navigate personalised services, including calculators and self-service options, thereby facilitating the management of personal details and also benefits estimation. This technological advancement has not only enhanced efficiency for citizens but also streamlined operations for the Department of Social Security.

The success of the mySocialSecurity App is evident in its tangible results. It has substantially improved the quality and timeliness of services, resulting in reduced waiting times and increased utilisation of online services. Citizens can save valuable time and effort by making use of a range of self-service options, granting them 24/7 access to social security services. Additionally, the implementation of e-ID authentication within the App has bolstered security measures, significantly reducing the risk of fraud and identity theft.

By offering an accessible and convenient platform, mySocialSecurity has enabled citizens to engage with the Department for Social Security in a more efficient manner. Furthermore, this citizen-centric approach to

By offering comprehensive online services and utilising calculators, citizens are now equipped to make well-informed decisions regarding their social security benefits. Furthermore, the responsive design of the App ensures compatibility across multiple devices. The mySocialSecurity project and the nominated unit have exemplified excellence in public service, by prioritising accessibility, efficiency and innovation. The mySocialSecurity project has initiated a transformative shift in citizen services, leaving an enduring impact on society. The recognition as the Best Digital Solution in the Public Service Awards 2023 not only validates our effort, but also serves as an inspiration for others to adopt similar approaches, leading to further advancements in public administration and citizen well-being.

None of this would have been possible without the invaluable support and empowerment provided by our esteemed Permanent Secretary, as well as the exceptional Social Security Team within MITA, whose dedication and collaboration have always been instrumental in this journey.
