Mt.Eliza’sskipperNathanScagliarinihasbeen one of the in-form midfielders in Division One averaging 27 possessions and game including 38 disposals including 29 contested possessions last week against the Frankston Bombers. Fin Bayne has also been in red hot form, with his last month including disposal counts of 37, 38, 37 & 37 in a remarkably consistent run of form. The midfield battle between these two sides looks to be hotly contested with whatever side getting the upper hand looking likely to leave with the 4 points.

Pines’ midfield unit of Luke Dalmau, Shane Savage, Lachie Marshall, Nic Braund and Russell Gabriel have led the way through the first 9 rounds of the season and has the Pythons sitting in finals contention heading into the second half of the season. One to watch in this one is youngster Ned Moodie, playing on the wing and up forward, Moodie has shone in recent weeks and is a real point of difference who looms as a potential match winnerforboysinred&green.
