Both the Bombers and Bonbeach are coming off lossestoMt.ElizaandPinesrespectivelyandwillbe looking to make amends in an important clash for bothsides.Bonbeacharecurrentlyin10thplaceon the Division 1 Ladder, and with the season at its half-way point will be looking to take every opportunitytomaketheirwayoutoftherelegation zone. This is an important game for the Bombers also, with the boys from Baxter Park looking to cementtheirpositioninthetop-fourwithabigwin here.

Although they went down by 2-points last week, this Bonbeach side has hit some form and after a string of good performances are set for a big second half of the season. Last season’s Coaches MVP Mitch Gent has been in fine form, averaging 35 disposals and a goal-a-game over the past month and has been the driving force behind the Sharks resurgence. Others who have impressed include Bonbeach’s young core of Jet Peckett, Calvin Lee, Elwood Peckett and Joel Day who have stood up for a side stuck at the bottom of the Division1Ladder

TheBomberswillbelookingtobouncebackfroma tough loss to Mt. Eliza which saw the Redlegs run out 55-point winners at Emil Madsen Reserve. Bonbeach will need to pay attention to Jai Block, who kicked 4 goals last week to take his season tally to 20 as the athletic forward goes from strength-to-strength in his second year of senior football.18-year-oldSethHarriswassolidlastweek, collecting 28 disposals and 10 marks to lead the way for his side despite the loss. Watch for Harry Prior to be influential in this match, with the bigman moving back into the ruck and impressing so far, with 54 hit-outs and 11 clearances last week he willbeoneBonbeachwillneedtowatch.

The Round One clash between the Stonecats and the Kangaroos saw the defending Division 1 Premiers leave Lloyd Park victorious to the tune of 60-points and as the two sides meet again in Round10theirladderpositionshavethemateither endoftheDivision1table.Langwarrinsitin9thand are in a rut of poor form which has them on a 6gamelosingstreak.YCWsit2ndandwithwinsover Rosebud, Mt. Eliza and Bonbeach in recent weeks areoneofthein-formsidesinDivision1.

It’s unfamiliar territory for Langwarrin at the halfwaypointoftheseason,withtheRoosstuckatthe wrongendoftheladdereverygamenowbecomes amustwinfortheboysfromLloydPark.Lastweek didn’tgotoplanwithRedHillrunningoverthetop ofLangyindifficultconditions,watchforlastyear’s Div 2 Premiers to respond as they search for their 2nd win of the season here. YCW were ultra impressive in their huge Round 9 victory over Rosebud, and with key players hitting some good form they look as good as any side in Division 1. Tall forward Josh Patullo has booted 16 goals in the last 3 weeks and alongside Matt Troutbeck and Christian Tsiampas make up one of the most dangerous forward-lines in Division 1. PremiershipplayersBlakeMullane,ByronBarryand BJ Credlin have all been in good form and will look to cause Langwarrin headaches as they clash in thisimportantgameforbothsides.
