Premio Escuelas de cine - 21 Semana del cortometraje de la Comunidad de Madrid, 2019, España María Fontán Nacida en Donostia-San Sebastián. Siempre ha sentido una gran atracción por el arte, a través de la pintura, con pequeños relatos y finalmente con sus estudios de Grado en Comunicación Audiovisual en la UPV con enfasís en diseño gráfico. Cinco años después se graduaría en el Master de Dirección en el Centro TAI con su primer cortometraje ‘Burbuila’ historia que bebe del cine fantástico y la mitología vasca.
Born in Donostia-San Sebastián. She has always fell an attraction for the art. From painting as a child, to writing as a teenager, to film and graphic design as a young women, graduating from the UPV with a Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual Communication. A few years later she would graduate from Centro TAI with a Master’s Degree in Film Directing, releasing her first short film ‘Burbuila’ which drawns inspiration from fantasy cinema and the folklore of the Basque Country.

N’cee van Heerden Nacido y criado en Sudáfrica. La carrera de N’cee comenzó en el teatro: escribir, dirigir y gestionar producciones. Se centró en las obras minimalistas inspiradas en Berkoff. Aquí es donde N’cee perfeccionó su habilidad y pasión por la dirección y las historias basadas en personajes. Luego hizo su transición al cine. Trabajó en varios departamentos, incluyendo producción, departamento de arte, efectos visuales, casting y cámara.

South African born and raised, N’cee’s career began in theatre, writing, directing and managing productions. His focus was Berkoff inspired minimalist plays. This is where N’cee honed his skill and passion for directing and character driven stories. N’cee then transitioned into film. He worked in various departments including production, art department, visual effects, casting & camera.
