El Rocky Colombia / 2017 / 19’23’’ / Color / Español / Pablito es un niño que junto a su mejor amigo, un gallo de pelea llamado Rocky, se ve obligado a cometer actos ilícitos con el fin de ayudar a su abuelo a comprar los medicamentos para su hermano enfermo. El dinero no es suficiente y su hermano empeora, así que Pablito se ve obligado a apostar su amistad al destino. Pablito is a boy who is forced to commit illicit acts along with his best friend, a fighting cock named Rocky, in order to help his grandfather to buy medicine for his sick brother. Money is not enough and his brother gets worse, so Pablito is forced to bet his friendship on destiny. Yosman Serrano Estudió Artes Audiovisuales en la Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga. Es un joven cineasta que a lo largo de la formación académica y profesional ha realizado cortometrajes, documentales, pilotos para series de televisión, animaciones 2D y seriados web.
He studied Audiovisual Arts at the Autonomous University of Bucaramanga. He is a young filmmaker who throughout his academic and professional training has made short films, documentaries, pilots for television series, 2D animations and web series.
The Artist’s Awakening / El despertar del artista Colombia, Estados Unidos / 2016 / 09’06’’ / Color / Inglés / Ezekiel es un artista que puede escuchar la voz de su inspiración. Esta dulce voz de mujer apareció luego de que él perdiera todos sus recuerdos aun siendo niño. Ella lo visitaba cada noche, antes de que sus sueños fueran muy profundos para recordarlos. Pero sin ningún aviso, desapareció y con ella se fue toda su inspiración. Ezekiel emprende un viaje que lo llevará hasta una puerta que tiene todas las respuestas a las preguntas que él siempre ha tenido. Ezekiel is an artist that can hear the voice of his inspiration. This sweet woman’s voice appeared after he lost all of his memories as a kid. She would visit him every day before his dreams became too deep to remember. But she went missing one day. She disappeared without any notice and so did his inspiration. Ezekiel decides to go in a quest that will lead him to a door that has all of the answers to the questions that he has ever had. Recientemente, trabajó en Dynamo como Asistente de Desarrollo y en la actualidad vive en Medellín con el deseo de expandir la industria cinematográfica en su ciudad natal.
Born in Medellín, Colombia. He holds a degree in Film and Television from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Recently, he worked at Dynamo as a Development Asisstant but he moved back to Medellín to further develop the film industry in his hometown.
