Tribal Police Officers are responsible for patrolling the reservation and tribal trust lands to prevent crime and enforce laws and regulations, responding to all calls for service, and performing specialized technical, administrative, and/or investigative assignments. Education/Experience:

• High school or GED required

• Previous work experience with a Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care facility

• Working understanding of physical plant repairs/preventive maintenance and grounds maintenance.

Specific Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license

• Must pass a P.L. 101-630 background check

• Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol testing

• Must be able to read, write and speak and understand the English language.
