DIPLOMA IN MONTESSORI PEDAGOGY BIRTH TO SEVEN (EARLY YEARS EDUCATOR)

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR? This Diploma in Montessori pedagogy (birth to seven years) is for those interested in working alongside children in a Montessori early years learning environment. The course provides students with the expertise, skills and professional approach needed to become a facilitator of Montessori education, acting as a key person in a Montessori classroom. WHY STUDY THIS COURSE? MCI recognises that a training in Montessori pedagogy requires a breadth of understanding and varied set of skills as well as specific attitudes to children and to on-going development. Taking students through a process which gives them a grounding in the historical context, philosophical approach and developmental understanding of the Montessori pedagogy, creates a firm foundation from which educators can practice. Study flexibly at your own pace on the virtual learning environment and with support from a dedicated tutor(s). BLENDED LEARNING Your online study and guided learning hours with a tutor(s) will support you through the Montessori philosophy and Montessori areas of learning. You’ll also complete a minimum 400 hours professional placement in a Montessori early years setting, where you'll gain hands on experience with the Montessori approach. The international nature of Montessori education is reflected in our diverse student body studying worldwide on MCI qualifications and courses. We have developed a blended learning approach which combines face to face and online learning, using our innovative virtual learning environment which enables learners to communicate, reflect and collaborate, establishing a vibrant international community of Montessori learners.
