STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: To change the name of the Grand Lodge Office Building Committee to the Grand Lodge Office Oversight Committee, clarify its scope of authority, and impose checks and balances over individual Grand Line officers and over the Grand Lodge Office in cases where significant expenditures are made and contractual arrangements are undertaken on behalf of the Grand Lodge. Also, to increase the base amount that may be kept in the imprest account from $40,000 to $60,000 to reflect better business practices in the current business environment. Also, to require all committees to submit a year-end report in writing to the Grand Lodge even in cases where no committee action has been taken.
