The catering staff at the Missouri Athletic Club has a knack for executing the details that comprise your vision for the big picture. Share with us what you have in mind, and we’ll help you bring it to life, starting with finding the right space for your group.
Between our two clubhouses, the MAC offers more than 20 spaces to host meetings and events. The spaces range in size to accommodate various groups. The MAC’s experienced catering and events staff will manage the onsite details of the event from food and beverage to audio/visual needs so the meeting or event planner can relax and enjoy.
Downtown Spaces
Missouri Ballroom
Few places in the city have the historic lavish “Gatsby” feel of the Missouri Ballroom with its ornate tray ceiling, grand chandelier, crystal sconces and floor to ceiling windows. A cosmetic viewing balcony overlooks a marble dance floor. Three projectors are available for use or can blend into the room when retracted.
Eads Room

This offshoot of the Missouri Ballroom features a street view of downtown St. Louis through its floor to ceiling windows, which are interspersed on walls lined with rich, brown wood paneling. Four interior wood pillars anchor the room. Antique brass chandeliers hang from the ceiling, and a navy and maize color scheme complete this rich traditional space.
Art Lounge

This multi-functional space is filled with a selection of paintings and sculptures from the Missouri Athletic Club’s $3 million private art collection. Removable ornate rugs overlay a marble floor, which leads to a marble fireplace. Large windows introduce natural light and a street view of downtown St. Louis. Intimate removable seating is scattered throughout.
Hall of Fame

Portraits of MAC Hall of Fame recipients line the walls of this room alongside windows that face Washington Avenue and dispense natural light. French doors open to the Sportsman’s Club.
This room honors the Club’s rich military history, displays proclamations, flags and historical memorabilia throughout. Close the French doors to enjoy this private space with full access to the Sportsman’s Club buffet and all of the restaurant’s amenities.
Jack Murphy Board Room
48’ x 16’ F Seating Capacity 21
Embrace the Club’s rich history and old-world feel when utilizing the Jack Murphy Board Room, adorned with rich mahogany and images of Club leaders. This large space includes two large tables — one for meeting and one for dining as a group. Other seating and a small bar make the room multi-functional.
West Spaces
The West Clubhouse’s 1903
room was renovated in 2016 to reflect the rich, traditional décor of the MAC’s historic Downtown Clubhouse. Artwork from the Club’s $3 million private art collection lines the walls. Within the dining room are two private alcoves that are ideal for a small group. The dining room can be reserved for larger parties.
