Michigan Mutual’s own Eric Eastman and Dan Heitzmann participated in the Tough Mudder Michigan event on Saturday, June 2nd, in Oxford Michigan. Tough Mudder is a 10-mile, 20 obstacle course, designed to push participants to their limits.

The event is not timed, there is no podium, the real focus is on teamwork and endurance. Anyone interested in joining Eric and Dan at the Tough Mudder Michigan 2019 event (TBA) can send Eric an email.

Team Member Recognition Your Marketing Coordinator Lauren Mitchell and her husband Tom, took on the Savage Race, Charlotte on Saturday, May 19th.

Spread over 7 miles of hilly farmland with 27+ obstacles they worked as a team to push through the Carolina heat and humidity!

Problem Solving Non-Sales Employee Loan Referral Policy It’s our pleasure to announce our new Non-Sales Employee Loan Referral Policy! We know that non-sales team members are often approached outside of work with inquires about obtaining mortgage financing. This policy creates a process and bonus incentive program for team members to refer such inquires to licensed Loan Officers within the organization.

Effective July 10, 2018, all non-sales employees are eligible to submit referrals via the process. For a copy of this policy please email HR@mimutual.com

MiMutual’s Washington Branch Educating Our Soldiers We are proud to share with you the great work that our very own Senior Loan Officer at the Lakewood office Kenneth B Cox and Loan Officer Assistant Eddie Grant continue to provide for the local military community. Ken a Veteran of the armed forces and VA Instructor for 40+ years, holds local sessions to the military and Veterans educating on how to maximize their VA benefits. 90% of Veterans are missing out on over 50% of their benefits as many are unaware of the structure of the VA loan. He not only explains the mortgage process but covers other areas like how to value a true buyers agent.
