MĀIA HEALTH FOUNDATION’S FINE FEAST FUNDRAISER 288 people recently attended Māia Health Foundation’s Feast event, where the Foundation outlined its next mission which will focus on the region’s mental health facilities. Over $160,000 was raised! Everyone also celebrated the success of the new rooftop helipad at the Christchurch Hospital and improvements to child health facilities. 1. CHRISTCHURCH’S RIVERSIDE FARMERS’ MARKET COMES TO LIFE More than 25,000 people attended the official grand opening of Christchurch’s brand new Riverside Farmers’ Market on Saturday 5 October to check out the offerings from local businesses.
