2013

Hannah Collins

Paige Halas just graduated with her Masters in Biotechnology from the University of California, Irvine. This fall, Paige will be returning to UC Irvine to pursue her PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology.

Rebecca Re is currently studying towards her PhD in Organic Chemistry at UCSD in a chemical biology lab studying natural product pathways, such as polyketide synthases and non-ribosomal peptide synthetases. With about three years left in her program, Rebecca hopes to enter the biotech industry as a research scientist to help develop products for different medical treatments.

graduated from Skyline College with two degrees in May. Along with those two degrees, she also earned a certificate in CSU GE Studies. During the summer she taught dance at Mercy’s Tools for School Program with a fellow alum, Julie Allan ‘15. Working at Mercy was surreal and Hannah absolutely loved every second of it. In the Fall she will be attending San Francisco State to study liberal studies.

graduated this past May from UC Berkeley with a double major in Molecular and Cell Biology and Integrative Biology, along with a minor in Disability Studies. She will continue her journey in September with a pre-medical post-baccalaureate program at UCLA.

graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor’s degree in English and minor in American Studies this past June. Upon graduation, she is headed off to Los Angeles to pursue a Juris Doctor at Loyola Law School.
