ON CAMPUS
VISUAL AND PERFORMING Dedicated to developing the creative side of students, Mercy’s Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) Department offers a variety of opportunities for students to grow. They are challenged to explore different genres and topics, and encouraged to weave personal interests into project themes. This spring, our dancers, artists, singers, and actors put their talent on full display and shared their passions with the Mercy Community.
MERCY SPRING DANCE CONCERT The Spring Dance Concert was a poignant celebration of expression. Based on the Critical Concerns of the Sisters of Mercy, the themes chosen by students included some of the difficult issues we face as a society each day. With student choreography and special solos, the program dared us to pay attention. It was a truly incredible evening!
MERCY ARTSFEST In Mercy’s annual spring art show, students in ceramics, studio art, and photography showcase their creativity and skill. All class levels displayed their diverse projects and even exhibited collaborations with other academic disciplines such as science and religious studies.
