In 2025, Mercy House Global is embracing the theme Restore, drawing from the timeless promises of Psalm 23. This year is a journey of renewal and healing—an invitation to rest in God’s presence and to trust in His restoration. The psalm’s imagery of a Good Shepherd leading us to still waters reminds us to slow down and embrace the peace He provides. The map above features Sanaa art created by the girls of Rehema House, illustrating Psalm 23 with new artwork added each month to reflect this journey. As we focus on restoration, we are reminded that when God restores, He gives more than we have lost—offering true renewal and abundant life.
Be at Rest
“My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Exodus 33:14
When one of the world’s greatest theologians, Dallas Willard, was asked to describe Jesus in one word, he thought carefully, unhurried, and he slowly answered, “He was relaxed.”
Jesus was at ease. He lived in a state of rest. He was reposed.
Yes, He was so many other things too, but there’s no denying that Jesus was calm, intentional, and patient. Matthew 11:29 reminds us of His invitation. “Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”
Repose is a state of rest. It is letting God lead us beside the still waters of Psalm 23.
It is said that hurry is violence against our souls, so slowing down and living in a state of rest might just be the opposite.
Take a deep, slow, cleansing breath. Give your soul and body a chance to catch up with each other.
Relax.
This month’s box is a reminder to rest, to take care of yourself, and to remember the invitation to turn our lives over to God. He cares for us.

The Teal Glass Bathroom Tray and Cup are handcrafted by artisans in Firozabad, India, a region known for glasswork but also affected by poverty and child labor. With SERRV International’s support, artisans now receive fair wages, safe working conditions, and timely payments.
Beyond employment, the artisans benefit from a learning center for at-risk children, health insurance, and access to advance payments. A new workshop has also improved their workspace.

Warrior's Flame
Founded in 2024 in the United States, Warrior’s Flame empowers survivors of human trafficking through creativity and financial assistance. The proceeds from purchases support the artisans rebuilding their futures with life coaching and biblical counseling, in addition to money for their basic needs.
With a client-centered approach, Warrior’s Flame has supported 27 survivors and currently serves six. Through this order of soap for MHG Clubs, the newest client received ten life coaching sessions and ten biblical counseling sessions. The organization was also able to purchase additional creative supplies. Warrior’s Flame is deeply grateful for Mercy House Global’s partnership.

Each delicate stitch reflects the resilience of the women who created it—survivors building new futures through dignified work. Street Hope provides a safe space for women to heal, learn, and support themselves through skilled embroidery and craftsmanship.
Tucked inside the pendant’s pocket, you’ll find three artisan cards, each featuring one of the women who helped create these pendants. These cards serve as a personal connection to the artisans, allowing you to put a face and name to their craft. We encourage you to pray for these women whenever you see their cards, lifting them up on their journey toward healing and restoration.

While we are a faith-based ministry and collaborate with other faith-based ministries, religion is not imposed on artisans, nor is it a prerequisite for employment. Many women and their families practice different religions than we do, and that is okay. Our belief in Christ compels us to love, serve, and assist others, irrespective of their personal belief systems.
