Social Center in Berlin
Social assistance centre
Berlin, Germany
Located on the route of the Berlin Wall, this project aims to reunite residents on a site that once divided them.
Inspired by the historical model of the volksküche, a kitchen occupies the first floor, while other programs take their place on the upper floors to become a living space for the neighborhood’s most precarious residents.
The facade contrasts with the rest of the street, making the project stand out and highlighting the importance of such a program in Berlin society.

The Curvilinear forms of SANAA
Master’s Thesis
2023 - 2024
Monographic Text
Studying why architects give their products the shapes they do, we paired up to look at the work of Japanese studio SANAA. It developped the use of curved forms, to the point of making them an essential element that makes SANAA’s work recognizable at first glance. This enabled us to take another look at the studio’s output, studying the conceptual modalities of curve construction, the spatial qualities produced and the methods of implementation.
In addition to the written research, this work is accompanied by a suitcase box containing the entire creative universe explored through this research.
CURVILIGNES DE SANAA

Brick Factory
Florence, Italy
What would the modern factory look like in the 21st century? Taking this question as its starting point, this project is set in the rubble of an abandoned factory. By bringing it out of the ground, it also makes it more porous. Thus, the postulate taken to answer our first question would be that the modern factory is a factory that fits into the urban fabric and the life of the city.
Industrial production is kept away from visitors in order to guarantee its efficiency, but it is not shamelessly hidden : the area around the building becomes a place of life and exchange.

Collective Dream
Youth Hostel
Ponte a Ema, Italy
20 minutes from Florence, this youth hostel takes its cue from the world of roads and the way they are perceived in terms of architecture, to stand out like a beacon in the landscape.
Inside, the entire volume is filled by a maze of spaces, with a succession of walkways, private areas and communal spaces, emphasizing the importance of encounters, in a place that is typically transitory for young travelers.
It’s also an opportunity to rework the typology of the dormitory, by working on the minimal space of intimacy required by any traveler : the bed. This piece of furniture is fully integrated into the architecture to offer the same experience to everyone, and gives the building’s facade a distinctive look.

Architecture Of Abundance
Research institute
Berlin, Germany
The particular nature of the soil on Berlin’s Teufelsberg led us to propose a research institute on soil transformation. This project, made up of three interlocking forms, establishes a particular relationship with the ground for each one, and seeks to draw a parallel between architecture and the scientific research process.
This semester’s methods of representation, with an accumulation of drawings, enabled us to experiment by representing the project in a multitude of A4 format facets, dealing with the abundance of spatial qualities produced by a restricted quantity of architectural elements.

Thinking The Flood
Multipurpose Structure
Genova, italy
Taking Herzog and de Meuron’s1111 Lincoln Road as a reference, this project proposes a multipurpose form in reinforced concrete, whose durability should lead us to reflect on the building’s adaptability over time, with the densification of the city and the probable rise in water levels affecting the coast.
The project was carried out by two architecture students in collaboration with a doctoral student from Florida International University’s Earth and Environment department.

Il Pagliaio
Study Drawing
2023
Study of Vernaculare Typology
Italy
The term “Pagliaio” has many meanings in Italian language and culture. Sometimes it refers to a technique for making straw bales, sometimes to more or less rudimentary straw constructions. This drawing board is an attempt to trace the evolution of straw building techniques around this vernacular element in Italian culture.

Study of the street of a village
Nangis, France
