From the outset, we sensed that we had something special. Watching people decorate and remodel their homes, we witnessed the transformation of these spaces into personal narratives that reflected their unique identities.
The kitchen emerged as the heart of their family stories, inspiring us to enrich this movement with our passionate and personalised design approach. Moreover, we were driven by a deep desire to democratise the typically exclusive realm of bespoke and handcrafted solutions, making the experience accessible to everyone.
The story of our company began with a deep friendship between two families on opposite sides of the Baltic Sea. United by shared dreams and visions, yet each bringing different skills to the table, we joined forces in 2014 to create something truly exceptional.
Our Danish roots provide a solid foun-
dation in interior design. Drawing inspiration from various eras, we have curated a diverse range of design lines, each infused with a distinct Scandinavian touch. Our talented design team specialises in translating these concepts into bespoke solutions tailored to every home we visit.
The Latvian side of our company embodies a deep-rooted passion for carpentry, passed down through generations. This proud family brings an innovative approach to woodcraft and an unwavering commitment to craftsmanship — in hands we trust.
Our highly skilled Latvian carpenters bring our Scandinavian designs to life. The process and methods we have developed together are entirely independent of franchises and costly intermediaries. This journey, from design to installation, is as transparent and straightforward as our name.
PROUD TRADITIONS
We design in Denmark and Sweden and manufacture in our workshop in Latvia.
The interiors for your kitchen, wine cellar or walk-in closet are crafted by the same skilled hands in Latvia that ultimately install them in your home, ensuring a seamless process that imbues the finished woodwork with a sense of pride and ownership rooted in the forests of Northern Europe.
Situated near Jelgava, our carpentry workshop is a valued workplace for local
craftspeople. As we expand, we take pride in operating a well-respected company that actively supports and sponsors the community.
Sustainability has been fundamental to our philosophy from the outset. We create interiors from natural materials sourced sustainably from nature. For every tree harvested, we plant a new one. Using only certified wood, our aim is to create products that last for generations, gaining more character and beauty over time.
Once a project is completed, our carpenters assemble everythingtoensurethateveryelementisperfectandnothing is overlooked before it is delivered to its new home.
Finger-jointed drawers represent a subtle yet beautiful detail that highlights the quality inherent in Handcrafted Interiors. These small works of art serve as a reminder of the craftsmanshipeverytimetheyareopened.
HIGHLAND
”In the legacy of those who have come before, we find inspiration to carve our own unique mark on the world ”
HIGHLAND
Welcome to Highland, our new design universe that authentically embodies the art of possibility. It is a testament to our passion for handmade interiors, deeply rooted in pastoral traditions and classic virtues. The collection honours craftsmanship and attention to detail with unwavering honesty. In Highland, natural materials, cabinetry and metals are playfully mixed and matched.
Highland expresses a philosophy of warmth and personality in kitchen design, favouring darker tones and
embracing imperfections and patina. It eschews clean, straight lines and minimalist ”non-kitchen” kitchens where everything is hidden away. Instead, it focuses on creating a lively and authentic home, where a kitchen unmistakably looks and feels like a kitchen.
Highland creates a natural gathering place and a workspace where food is prepared with care. Picture a crackling fireplace and the family dog joyfully romping with dirty paws. It is a sanctuary where warmth abounds and each imperfection adds to its charm.
A MULTI-ROOM MINDSET
A Highland home naturally embraces the pantry, a room where love, respect for raw produce and Grandma’s chipped platter are the main ingredients. Here, a hand mixer stands on open shelving alongside large bowls and vases. Canned goods, spices and herbs have dedicated places next to jars of preserves and containers of flour and nuts.
We embrace a healthy and honest approach to our food, fostering a reflective atmosphere enhanced by cabinetmaking details, natural stone countertops and hand-forged shelf railings.
The utility room, also known as the boot room, is an essential part of the home. This practical space handles the demands of everyday life, from muddy boots and fishing rods to laundry and dog leads.
This is often the first room we enter, therefore it sets the stage for the Highland experience. While the colours, metals and materials here may differ from those in the other rooms, the underlying concept remains consistent: the adjoining rooms communicate in a harmonious design language where (almost) anything goes.
NATURAL TONES
Inspired by nature, Highland embraces a warm and earthy palette where colour plays a central role. Deep tones such as Midnight and Dusty Black bring depth and contrast, while softer shades like Eggshell and Daisy create balance and lightness. The carefully curated palette allows different colours and finishes to coexist, making room for personal combinations that feel natural rather
than forced. By mixing tones, textures and grains, Highland achieves a sense of “imperfect perfection” – an honest expression of craftsmanship where contrasts add character. The result is a harmonious design language that feels tactile and lived-in, yet timeless enough to grow with the home.

DETAILS OF HIGHLAND
Highland is synonymous with intricate details: a kitchen island set on baluster legs, handcrafted by our master carpenters, an integrated folding door and faceted countertops. Open shelves and glass display cabinets do not merely hold items; they create a sense of straightforward honesty by displaying the objects we use every day.
In a vintage mix of metals, there is always room for unique touches, like a drawer handle found at a flea market. We go against the grain with an abundance of details that,
together, create a harmonious and tactile experience. This approach results in a beautiful, ever-surprising interior that is anything but dull.
Highland features staggered levels that provide functional spaces while allowing the room to live and breathe. Moving away from rigidity and straight lines, it favours an overall sense of protrusions and unique appearances. Recurring details such as wall panels or profile boards as backing and carved ventilation ducts add to its charm.
BACK TO BASICS
Home decor evolves alongside life and time. Trends come and go, prompting us to reflect on past generations or draw inspiration from different cultures. Highland captures a deliberate ”old colonial” ambience, resonating with our pursuit of authenticity and natural materials.
Advancements in technology enable remote work, freeing us from the necessity of urban living and allowing us to embrace rural life,
integrating nature and open skies into our daily experience. Thus, our homes become a reflection of a lifestyle with more room to breathe. Highland embodies this sense of liberation.
Highland also pays homage to Georgian design, characterised by its opulent mix of materials and rich details. It represents craftsmanship of the highest calibre, allowing us to honour tradition while daring to be bold.
Just living is not enough. One must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower.
— Hans Christian Andersen
A HIGHLAND HOME
Set back from the bustle of the city, this family home tells a story of warmth and craftsmanship. For the owners, who live here with their children and dog, it was never about creating a showpiece – it was about shaping rooms that could hold both beauty and daily life.
Choosing the Highland philosophy felt very natural: a style that embraces imperfection, texture and history, while remaining deeply functional.
“The kitchen is where we always end up,” they say with a smile. Here, a Handcrafted Interior Highland kitchen unfolds in painted ARTISAN cabinetry paired with dark stone. The veining of the marble worktop brings movement, while an oak island on turned baluster legs anchors the room. It is where meals are cooked,
children do homework, and guests gather over wine. “We wanted it to feel honest,” they add, “a place where you can see and touch the materials.” Open shelves and glass cabinets reveal ceramics and cookbooks, making the space feel alive and personal.
Life with children, dogs and horses means that the practical side of the home is just as important. In the boot room, bespoke joinery takes care of muddy boots, jackets and sports gear, all tucked neatly behind painted doors. “It’s the first room we walk into every day, so we wanted it to be beautiful as well as useful.” The same thought extends to the utility room, where laundry and storage become part of the rhythm of the house.
Throughoutthehome,Highlandrevealsitselfin the details: faceted stone edges, wall panelling, glass-frontedcupboardsandbespokehardware.
Colours move from creamy painted fronts in the kitchen to darker green tones in the utility room, creating a layered atmosphere that feels both cohesive and lived-in. Nothing is concealed without reason - instead, the interiors celebrate patina, texture, and the details that bring a home to life.
In the hall, a guest bathroom unfolds with patterned wallpaper and a handcrafted oak vanity finished with marble – proof that even small rooms can carry personality.
The hall sets the tone for the entire home: light pours in through the glazed roof, falling across black-and-white tiles and bespoke panelling that frame the space with quiet elegance. Antique furniture and carefully chosen details make it both practical and inviting, offering a glimpse of the Highland philosophy that runs throughout the house –craftsmanship, character and a sense of welcome from the very first step inside.

HERITAGE
HERITAGE embraces the legacy of the classical era with a Victorian style where finely detailed carvings create a rich, antique expression. Sophisticated milling provides a contrast to simpler open shelves or display cabinets, much like the original cornices and wall panels in an older home harmonise with its elegant design language.
HERITAGE adopts an international character, drawing parallels to the
voluminous moulding characteristic of the period. The detailed fronts are more flamboyant than understated, contributing to a boldly designed kitchen that makes a confident statement.
HERITAGE leaves little room for modesty, proudly embracing the luxury genre with its robust and confident exterior.
ARTISAN
When we launched Handcrafted Interior in 2014, the ARTISAN front was one of our earliest designs. Traditional in its simplicity, with subtle milling, it was inspired by classic furniture and helped pave the way for the SHAKER kitchen style.
This nostalgic homage to an old acquaintance is given new life and named in honour of the craftsmanship it embodies. The intricate detailing sets it apart, giving it a more fluid feel compared to the angular Shaker style. The
delicate milling requires precise technical skill, which is why we named it ARTISAN — a tribute to the craftsmanship of our skilled carpenters.
ARTISAN’s understated simplicity evokes timeless appeal, where the handcrafted kitchen becomes a narrative of classical design and artisanship. It celebrates honest craftsmanship that speaks volumes without needing grand gestures to make a statement.
SHAKER
SHAKER is a modern reinterpretation of a minimalist style established by the religious Shaker community in the mid-1800s. Known for its well-balanced proportions, utility and minimal decoration, SHAKER embodies the essence of tradition while pioneering functional, clean design principles.
With respect for the Shaker style, we have modernised our design
into an exclusive and contemporary expression. SHAKER can be configured to achieve either a sharp, elegant appearance or a more traditional and dignified look.
Timeless and resistant to passing trends, SHAKER has enduring appeal thanks to its cohesive, quality-driven solutions, featuring beautifully crafted panel doors.
WINDSOR
WINDSOR draws inspiration from the simple lines of the SHAKER kitchen. However, it features a narrower profile cut at an angle for a distinctly different expression that evokes thoughts of the streamlined and clean aesthetic of Art Deco style.
The result is an intriguing high-end carpenter’s kitchen that
complements homes with classical details blending nostalgia and modernity. WINDSOR offers ample space for experimenting with rounded corners, while its design language harmonises seamlessly with our other designs.
KONTUR
KONTUR is a testament to craftsmanship, showcasing our top carpentry skills. Its fronts are intricately milled with a wavy, organic expression, offering a personalised kitchen ideal for mid-century homes that favour simple yet distinctive stylistic statements.
KONTUR can feature rounded corners, harkening back to an era unafraid
of bold shapes. Whether as an avantgarde bathroom cabinet or a kitchen island paired tastefully with sleeker fronts, KONTUR exudes intrigue and stands out effortlessly. The design possibilities are as vast as the range of milling options available.
CLEAN
CLEAN encapsulates Nordic minimalism, defined by sleek lines that convey simplicity and elegance. It presents a bold and enduring statement, where beauty thrives in straightforwardness. Each piece showcases timeless and functional design, featuring hand-selected, high-quality wood that tells a compelling story of its origins in a carpentry workshop.
The streamlined appearance of CLEAN invites personalisation with a variety of countertop materials and handle options. We collaborate with leading marble and quartzite quarries world-
wide, while also offering durable countertops in ceramic, steel and wood.
While the obvious choice for CLEAN will often be the natural oiled wood, it also works beautifully in painted colours, which seamlessly integrate into the colour palette of your home. Choosing the raw version ensures meticulous hand-selection by our carpenters, maintaining consistency in grain and lines between upper and base cabinets. This attention to detail provides a cohesive and harmonious appearance in a kitchen space.
TAPPED is an uncompromising kitchen characterised by carefully crafted oak drawers with finger joints that stand out as a raw and refined expression of craftsmanship. It looks particularly striking in matte clear lacquer or stain, highlighting its artisanal details that complement the minimalist elegance typical of Scandinavian furniture design.
Finger-jointing, a centuries-old technique, represents the pinnacle of traditional joinery. Using precise grooves and edged dowels, our carpenters achieve maximum surface
contact and strength between glued wood pieces. This method avoids screws, allowing the natural beauty of the wood to shine through.
Finger-jointed drawers exemplify functionalism, providing exceptional durability and structural integrity without unnecessary ornamentation. Moreover, these joints create a striking visual contrast against the clean, expansive surfaces typical of modern Nordic kitchens, contributing to TAPPED’s immediate popularity from the outset.
SPACE evolves from the language of our TAPPED collection, yet it establishes a presence of its own.
TAPPED is defined by its layered craftsmanship and the graphic rhythm of its fingertap joints. SPACE translates that heritage into a design distinguished by horizontal flow and integrated handles carved directly into the frame.
The handles are not additions, but an inherent part of the design, merging function and form in a seamless gesture. This subtle detail creates calm continuity across the surfaces, allowing the natural wood to
breathe and its grain to unfold with clarity.
SPACE celebrates proportion, rhythm, and craftsmanship. Horizontal lines guide the eye, emphasising balance and precision, while the warmth of the wood anchors the design in Nordic tradition. The result is a kitchen that feels both open and harmonious, sculptural in its simplicity and timeless in its expression.
KBH
KBH pays homage to the classic Copenhagen kitchen, reminiscent of an era when homes were built with rustic bricks and adorned with original glass windows framed in solid wood.
The authentic retro kitchen design preserves the best elements of classic models while incorporating modern touches for a nostalgic yet functional kitchen experience.
The KBH kitchen is distinguished by its distinct frames and raised panel cabinet doors, which add depth and elegance. Each KBH
kitchen is optimised to seamlessly integrate into everyday life, featuring drawers with full extension and practical pull-out shelves. Colours typical of the Copenhagen style further enhance the look.
While KBH can be crafted in pure raw wood, many opt for the durable painted version to infuse colour and creativity. At our workshop, we assemble and spray-paint each kitchen element, followed by disassembly to ensure exacting control over the painting process and guaranteeing exceptional durability of the final product.
RUM
For our carpenters, RUM presents an exhilarating challenge where the objective is to achieve symmetry and coherence in the fine lines and grain of the wood. RUM aims to embody unity within its space, harmonising all elements into a cohesive whole and allowing the inherent structure of the wood to speak with a bold and expressive voice.
A natural reflection of the Nordic design tradition, RUM has a purity that encourages creativity and personalisation.
The high-calibre kitchen features solid wood longitudinal square handles meticulously calibrated to fit comfortably in both large and small hands, emphasising functionality and ease of cleaning. The overall impression is an inviting and spacious carpentry kitchen where the beauty of the wood, with its distinctive lines, takes centre stage. The design is further enhanced by smaller drawers discreetly concealed behind the larger fronts, enhancing its aesthetic appeal.
INDENT
INDENT carries the essence of Nordic minimalism into a new dimension. By extending the front frame forward, the design introduces depth and sculptural presence, giving the kitchen an architectural character. This simple shift transforms the perception of the cabinetry where light and shadow move across the surfaces and accentuate the handcrafted details. The design celebrates both materiality and craftsmanship. The forward
frame enhances the tactile nature of the wood, drawing out the rhythm of its grain and the refinement of its construction. It is a design language that combines timeless simplicity with a heightened sensitivity to detail. With INDENT, every line and every surface becomes part of a larger composition. The result is a kitchen that balances calm simplicity with character, forming a timeless expression defined by depth and precision.
IF WE CAN DRAW IT, WE CAN BUILT IT
In a world of bespoke interior design, everything becomes possible. Your ideas, your home, your needs and your budget are all channelled through the minds of our skilled creatives in our design studios.
Our initial meeting is a conversation focused on understanding your lifestyle. We want to learn more about who you are and how you live before we begin creating a customised layout. Do you frequently entertain guests? Are there small children or teenagers in the household? Is cooking a hobby or a daily routine? When we visit your home to take measurements, we assess the space, observe the lighting and sometimes adjust our plan to ensure an optimal outcome.
Years of experience in interior design have led to the development of a large range of designs that can stand alone or be seamlessly combined.
One of our designs was inspired by the English Shaker style which we refined with Scandinavian aesthetics. This is a good example of our design approach – a poetic fusion of tradition and progress.
In addition to our handbuilt designs, we offer a wide selection of countertops, colours, handles, lighting solutions, details, and fixtures, providing an array of possibilities, each tailored to suit your needs and style perfectly.
ATELIER
ARTISTIC, FEMININE & SOPHISTICATED
In French, Atelier means “the artist’s studio” – the place where ideas take shape, materials are carefully selected, and beauty is created through the delicate work of the hand. It is a word infused with creativity and refinement, framing a world where form and aesthetics are everything.
Atelier is a universe where Scandinavian modernism merges with Parisian Art Deco, balancing the feminine and the strong, the light and the luxurious. An aesthetic that draws you in quietly, offering the home an atmosphere of understated refinement.
It is expressed through soft curves, muted tones and tactile details that shape the space with both intimacy and rhythm. Light plays across
surfaces, glass reflects and refracts, and crafted details add depth – all combining to form an environment that feels composed, poetic and timeless.
From these elements arises a distinctive atmosphere – graceful, poetic and rich in texture. An atmosphere that resonates with the sophistication of Paris, where form becomes expression and life is framed by quiet beauty.
Atelier is not just a reference to a place, but to a way of seeing. A philosophy of crafted elegance, where everyday life unfolds in spaces that whisper rather than shout – spaces where beauty feels natural, yet never coincidental.
Atelier is where light sets the scene. It filters through heavy textiles, dances in mirrors and refracts in glass, so that the room continuously shifts character with the passing of the day. Light transforms into a material of its own – shaping the space with life, depth and poetry.
DETAILS OF ATELIER
The shapes are soft and organic. Rounded corners, curved lines and refined proportions create a sense of elegance, inspired by the Art Deco of the 1920s yet reinterpreted in a modern, Nordic way. A touch of glamour without excess – calm, aesthetic and timeless.
The palette is subtle and harmonious – layers of beige, pastels and warm natural hues blending into a quiet whole. Ribbed glass and mirrored details add depth, while wood, stone and muted metals provide grounding and balance. Heavy drapes soften the atmosphere, creating intimacy and rhythm, while every crafted detail contributes to the overall elegance.
KANSO
A PHILOSPHY OF REFINED SIMPLICITY
In Japanese aesthetics, Kanso ( 簡素 ) embodies simplicity, purity, and an elimination of the non-essential. As one of the seven principles of Zen design, it reflects an understanding of beauty that arises not from decoration, but from restraint –from allowing form, function, and material to stand in quiet clarity.
Our Kanso universe translates this philosophy into a fusion between Japanese and Danish minimalism. It is rooted in clarity, balance, and the calming presence of natural materials. A universe where the essence of design is revealed in what is left out, as much as in what is chosen. Here, nothing is without purpose. Every line, every joint, every surface reflects careful consideration. Oak fronts, stone surfaces and tactile textures form a harmony where the natural character of each material speaks for itself. It is a restrained aesthetic, yet one full of depth – a reminder that richness lies in what is simple, authentic and enduring.
Light plays a central role in Kanso. Soft and filtered, it moves across wood grains and stone veins, creating shifting atmospheres throughout the day. Shadows are not concealed but embraced, bringing depth and calm.
The expression is minimal without ever becoming sterile. Warmth lies in the wood, softness in muted tones, and honesty in craftsmanship. Function and form go hand in hand, creating a seamless flow where the kitchen is more than a place of preparation – it becomes a place to dwell, to gather, to breathe.
Kanso is not just an aesthetic. It is a way of living with less, but with greater awareness. It is a universe where the eye finds rest, the mind can slow down, and the home becomes a quiet framework for life itself.

VINTAGES & WOOD
We are increasingly defining the roles of rooms in our homes with greater clarity. With a growing global perspective, we draw inspiration from hotels and residences around the world, bringing back ideas to infuse our homes with an international touch.
From walk-in closets to home bars and fitness rooms, we indulge in everyday luxuries that connect us more deeply to our surroundings, reflecting our individual interests and passions.
The interest in wine is also on the rise. It is only natural that we want to incorporate our love for the red and white drops into our homes. Wine appreciation is no longer
exclusive; it has become a passion shared by many. Responding to this demand, we have developed tailored wine storage solutions, wine rooms and wine cellars, opening up the joys of wine enthusiasm to a wider audience.
Designing wine storage requires more than aesthetics; it demands knowledge of wine. Different wines require specific storage conditions— such as shelf inclination, humidity levels and temperature stability—all essential for maintaining quality. Just as crafting fine wine demands skill and expertise, our approach to wine storage is guided by the same philosophy we apply to our handcrafted kitchens.
Wine solutions can complement a home’s design, extending its aesthetic lines. They can harmonise with existing details in the kitchen or serve as a striking contrast, using rustic elements or sleek designs with snug shelves andglassdoors, allunifiedbyouruseofwood
When fine vintage wines meet wood adorned with exquisite growth rings, a symbiotic relationship forms, seamlessly blending nature’s gifts with masterful craftsmanship.
Interest in wine revolves around aroma and exquisite flavours, as well as a respect for the grapes and traditional wine growing. It is only natural to pursue the same detail-oriented values when the bottles are to be stored until the day they are opened and enjoyed.
Drawing on our extensive experience, we infuse personality into every wine project we undertake, ensuring that wood’s natural beauty enhances the storage and enjoyment of fine wines.
COOKING IN COLORS
People often envision a handcrafted kitchen with a wooden surface. While it is a beautiful and authentic choice, it is not the only option. Colour is an ever-evolving canvas where combinations and mixtures never cease to surprise.
With the human eye capable of perceiving between 15 to 16 million colours, we honour this profound ability by venturing beyond traditional Pantone swatches, drawing inspiration from the vibrant and diverse hues found in nature.
Amidst uncertain times, there is a growing inclination to draw inspiration from the past rather than look to the future. Creating tranquil spaces for living and being becomes paramount, and the bold use of colour plays a pivotal role in cultivating an intimate and inviting atmosphere. While sterile whites and beige tones offer a sleek and modern aesthetic, there is a noticeable resurgence of vintage elements and classical details, embracing warmer, richer colours that evoke a more tactile and personal style.

On a quiet street in Valby, behind the facade of a classic brick villa, lies a home full of colour and character. This is where Rikke, Asbjørn and their two children, Svend and Hedvig, have created a life shaped by both craftsmanship and playfulness. Since moving in, the couple have reimagined the house: bathrooms modernised, an old artist’s atelier transformed into a bright annex, and a hand-built terrace now linking the garden seamlessly to the living spaces.
Leaving the bustle of Carlsberg Byen for birdsong and backyards in Valby was, for them, a deliberate change of rhythm. Here the neighbourhood is described with a smile as “a place with room for both weeds in the front gardens and karaoke in the backyards.” Green expanses like
Vigerslevparken and Damhussøen lie just minutes from home, yet the pulse of Vesterbro and Frederiksberg is only a short bike ride away.
At the heart of the villa, the red kitchen-dining room stretches towards the garden, its deep red ceiling and bold cabinetry drawing the eye instantly. The couple chose a poppyred Handcrafted Interior kitchen paired with Italian Calacatta Viola marble – a combination that feels both daring and timeless. For Rikke, the decision came easily: “It didn’t feel brave, it just felt right,” she says. Against the soft veining of the marble, the colour radiates warmth, creating a room that feels alive from morning coffee to children’s drawings spread across the table.

In Rikke and Asbjørn’s home, the red kitchen is more than a statement piece – it is the anchor of a house that welcomes life in all its forms. More than anything, this is a house designed for life with children. “You can eat ice cream on the sofa,” Rikke laughs. Patina, scratches and imperfections are welcome.
HANDCRAFTED DRAPES
We are witnessing a shift in interior design towards a more tactile aesthetic, where rigid surfaces and sharp angles are giving way to soft, organic materials in richer colour tones. Curtains, in particular, play a pivotal role in establishing a distinct style and ambience throughout the home. Curtains contribute to balance and texture in your décor, enhancing acoustics while framing doors and windows. Beyond aesthetics, curtains serve practical functions: they shield from sunlight, provide privacy and insulate against cold weather.
We steadfastly oppose automation, and this holds true for Handcrafted
Drapes: all curtains are bespoke, tailored by our expert seamstresses in Latvia to the exact measurements of your home. We select only the finest materials that meet our strict standards and align with our Nordic design ethos while offering options with a broader international appeal.
Each fabric is chosen for its premium quality, ensuring durability alongside aesthetic appeal at affordable prices. Our curtains will maintain their quality even with frequent use, allowing you to open and close them confidently for many years without worrying about wear or fatigue.

A MARBLE CHURCH VIEW
At Store Kongensgade, where the copper-green dome of the Marble Church fills the windows, live Molly, Martin and their daughter Leonora. The couple bought the apartment in 2022 and spent nearly two years restoring it. Every room was stripped back to the brick and rebuilt, creating a home where history and craftsmanship meet in a contemporary frame. Fine hand-cast leaf-pattern cornices now run through the rooms, while plaster rosettes form sculptural centrepieces across the home. Underfoot, new oak in classic herringbone ties the spaces together with the same quiet elegance as the ceiling above.
At the heart of the apartment stands a Handcrafted Interior SHAKER kitchen in the signature shade Dolly. The painted fronts reveal the natural grain of the wood, while brass handles lend warmth and tactility. An island with bar stools has become the family’s daily meeting
point, where cooking and conversation merge. Travertine worktops echo the tones of the church dome outside, and integrated appliances preserve clarity, keeping the focus on proportion and materiality. For Molly, an enthusiastic home cook, the kitchen has become both a functional workspace and her favourite place to spend time.
Across kitchen, walk-in, bookcase and bathroom, the joinery acts as a golden thread, uniting the apartment through finish and detail where every piece is both functional and atmospheric.
With the Marble Church as its constant neighbour, the apartment has become a dialogue between craft, history and contemporary living. Handcrafted details provide coherence and depth, while the family’s own collections bring warmth and personality. The outcome is a home where both architecture and everyday life unfold in harmony.

Further along, the master bedroom reveals another highlight: a walk-in closet in Daisy, also shaped in SHAKER design. Wall-mounted brass taps complete the composition, adding a quiet sense of elegance and precision that refines the room beyond the everyday.
Our commitment to using natural stone is rooted in a deep respect for our natural resources. We maintain an uncompromising standard in selecting the quality and pattern of our stone slabs, partnering exclusively with experts in sourcing marble and natural stones from carefully selected quarries in Tuscany and around the world.
Once installed in your kitchen, natural stone only grows more beautiful. While the first small scratches or subtle cracks around the sink may concern you initially, these marks and the eventual patina reflect the unique journey of your family and you, imparting a deeply personal touch to your kitchen over time.
NATURAL SELECTION
Choosing the perfect material is a matter of temperament. One stone radiates tranquillity and understated elegance, while another makes a bold statement. Natural stone tells a compelling story of our individuality and style.
Our fascination with natural stones stems from their inherent authenticity and diversity. From marble and limestone to lava rock and quartzite, Earth’s underground treasures present a rich variety of unique colours, textures, veins and patterns.
A UNIVERSE OF CALM & ORDER
A bespoke walk-in closet is where function becomes architecture. When designed to the room, every centimetre is considered – in height, in width, and deep into the corners. Even sloping walls and awkward angles are embraced with precision, ensuring that no space is wasted. In this way, storage becomes more than practical; it becomes a natural part of the home’s architectural whole.
Here, form and function meet in quiet balance. Every shelf, drawer and door is carefully planned, creating
a rhythm where everything has its place, and where practicality and poetry coexist. Nothing is left to chance – and it is this sense of intention that makes the whole feel simple and effortless. But the essence goes beyond the functional. A walk-in closet brings a particular calm – the clarity that comes when order replaces chaos, and when dressing becomes a quiet ritual. A moment of stillness, before the day begins.
The experience is not about abundance, but about precision. About the satisfaction of seeing things fall into place, of feeling architecture, craftsmanship and life come together in a coherent whole. In this meeting, order becomes beauty, and beauty becomes a quiet form of freedom.
Materials are chosen for the atmosphere they bring. Wood addswarmthandtactility, stonegivesdepthandpermanence, while glass introduces lightness and reflection. Light itself is treated as material – grazing surfaces softly, drawing out textures, and shifting with the rhythm of the day.

HOUSE OF HANDCRAFTED
How can you truly experience our handcrafted kitchens and furniture? Through a 3D rendering? We don’t believe so. We believe our work should be seen in real life. But not in a shop or a neutral showroom in an industrial building—our kitchens belong in real homes, where people actually live.
That is why we have made our home in a real house: a beautiful 1917 property in Copenhagen’s embassy district, with all the quirks and charming details that older homes are blessed with. This setting allows us to showcase our kitchens and furniture in the most authentic way—whether it’s entrance furniture, floor-to-ceiling shelving, wardrobes, display cabinets, wine storage or bespoke solutions for every room. Instead of a standard product you must adapt to, we create unique pieces that adapt to you and your home.
We call it the House of Handcrafted. Because that is exactly what it is—a
house that shows how fine joinery can transform everyday routines into sensory experiences while creating the atmosphere that makes a house a home.
Our warmest wish is that the house feels inviting. There is always coffee brewing, and the atmosphere is warm and familiar. We even have a small enclosed garden where children can play hide-and-seek while you sit down with our designers. Inside the House of Handcrafted, you can explore all of our design lines. Each room is styled as its own universe, so you can see and feel how different moods unfold in practice.
Take your time, settle in, and let your imagination wander. Our designers are here to listen and help shape your ideas—whether you dream of a walk-in closet, an elegant bathroom vanity or a kitchen that ties your whole home together.
ATELIER – inspired by Scandinavian lightness, this universe is airy and inviting, defined by pastel tones, rounded corners and ribbed glass cabinets. A tactile, playful setting that feels both refined and approachable.
HIGHLAND – rooted in rural traditions and classic virtues, Highland celebrates honesty, diversity and detail. Nothing is hidden away; open shelving, natural stone worktops and a mix of handles and metals invite you to create a personal, lived-in expression.
– where Japanese simplicity meets Nordic calm. Dark wood tones, brushed steel and finger-tapped joinery create a serene atmosphere, letting clean lines and crafted details speak for themselves.
