Discover our new gem of a gastronomic restaurant, La Petite Loge. This completely refurbished former masonic lodge meeting hall is today dedicated to indulging in new gastronomic experiences. Featuring a workshop kitchen and a large communal dining table (available for private hire on request), La Petite Loge offers cookery classes and private dinners hosted by our chef Anthony Bonnet, plus sociable experiences tasting the finest wines: very special occasions for families, groups of friends or corporate functions. Also on offer are new Sunday lunchtime dining experiences: brunch at the Café Epicerie and an à-la-carte gastronomic lunch at Les Loges restaurant.

Reconnu pour ses “écritures” humoristiques et anticonformistes déclinées sur divers supports, Ben est un artiste français d’origine suisse, ayant côtoyé l’École de Nice, les artistes du Nouveau Réalisme (César, Arman, Martial Raysse), avant de participer à la fondation de groupe Fluxus dans les années 1960. SÉRIGRAPHIE BEN « ETRE LIBRE », 1991 • 100X80CM L’Hôtel Mont-Blanc lui rend aujourd’hui hommage en exposant une sélection de ses sérigraphies, et accueille ainsi un nouvel enfant terrible à sa collection d’artistes mythiques ayant séjournés dans l’hôtel.

You can now discover an exhibition of prints by the enfant terrible of the art world, “Ben”. The event is in collaboration with the Galerie Eva Vautier, and will run from 4 December 2015 to 3 April 2016. Renowned for his humorous, anti-conformist “writings” presented through a range of media, Ben is a French artist with Swiss origins who studied at the Art School of Nice and associated with artists of the New Realism movement (César, Arman and Martial Raysse) before helping to found the Fluxus group in the 1960s. The Hotel Mont-Blanc is now paying homage to his work by exhibiting a selection of his prints, and in doing so is welcoming another enfant terrible into its collection of legendary artists who have stayed at the hotel.

Deux shapes, trois flexs, six longueurs avec chacune son rayon dédié. A l’intérieur, un noyau mêlant Frêne (le top pour le toucher de neige) et Paulownia (pour gagner du poids), un enrobage traditionnel en fibres de verre : rien de révolutionnaire… Ça tombe bien : on n’a pas fait mieux comme matériaux depuis des générations. Le secret de XO, hormis le choix de matériaux et d’une préparation haut de gamme, c’est son flex. Ou plutôt ses flexs, chaque longueur de ski étant disponible en V3, V7 ou V12. Des flexs tout en finesse, paufinés au fil de nombreuses heures de développement en Suisse pour arriver à des sensations de haut vol sur la piste. Au cœur de la tendance ‘piste libérée’ du moment (Fun Carve en VO), le XO revendique un haut niveau de performance alpine (le fondateur, Stéphane Exartier, est un ancien membre de l’Équipe de France de Ski Alpin qui a participé aux J.O d’Albertville), tout en restant joueur et accessible à tout bon skieur possédant quelques bases techniques. Inside, a core combining ash (the best material for snow sensitivity) and Paulownia (to save weight), a conventional fibreglass coating: nothing revolutionary… But nothing wrong with that: no better materials have been developed for generations.
