design iterations. After gathering information regarding each other’s room requirements and standards, we started to look at connecting our spaces. We began with numerous sketches and scenarios; hoping to find the most logical position for each room with the intention of creating a smooth flowing transition/circulation from each spaces. Due to my room’s minimal sunlight, the idea of being next to a space that offers solar access came to mind. By creating an Atrium; a breathing space in a work environment, which not only provide sunlight but also organises and links all the spaces.
