Overall, the conducted simulation studies provided reasonable amount of information that seem to align with our experiences. The radiation and the sunlight hour analysis proved an accurate depiction of our living condition. We received decent amount of solar access from the north [rear courtyard], but not excessive as we are shaded by the existing palm tree. It makes sense that the balcony/walkway above receives high levels of radiation as it is directly exposed to sunlight. Furthermore, the sunlight hour analysis shows long duration of solar access within our rear yard. Oppositely, it shows the lack-of/short duration of solar access within the bed room, which is accurate due to the overhanging walkway and also the shade from the palm tree.
