f money were no object, where would you stop when designing the yacht of your dreams? For one owner looking to create a megayacht with a masculine edge, a collaboration between CRN’s technical team, Studio Nuvolari Lenard and Studio Gilles & Boissier Interior Design enabled him to obsess over every detail, resulting in a craft that’s sheer perfection. Atlante is a truly unique vessel. At 11 metres wide and boasting four decks and an Owner’s Suite, four VIP cabins accommodating 12 guests, as well as cabins for 13 crew members, she is nothing if not spacious. But clever design touches manage to create an intimate atmosphere on board – the dark colours of the hull and superstructure are also found in the interior, with varying tones of Carrara and Verona marble, combined with shades of smoked oak skilfully mixed with brushed fir, black oak and larch.

This is a megayacht designed for entertaining. The main deck is a multi-purpose area which can be transformed from a technical zone to a living space – a natural continuation of the beach club, a large and comfortable home theatre or even a generous party area. The sun deck features an intimate relaxation zone composed of a sunbathing area with an electrically manoeuvrable sunshade and a stunning swimming pool at the bow facing out onto the sea ahead. An incredible attention to detail and finish even extends to the day loo, which is fitted out in Calacatta Vagli marble and afrormosia teak. And if you tire of the view from the windows, the on-board entertainment system is completely integrated and controlled via iPads and iPhones. Atlante is equipped with two Caterpillar 3512C engines that propel the craft to a maximum speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots. Issue 6 |
