The Fish Restaurant «Anemotrata» Have you ever thought about yourself, your friends or your family being in a representative island tavern on the seafront, overlooking a charming fishing harbour, under the thick shade of a vine, drinking iced ouzo, enjoying the freshest fish that you could ever imagine? Does this seem a dream? We think so! But it isn’t! Because at the “Anemotrata fish restaurant” in Ammouliani, directly opposite the main harbour of the island, with a view and access to the Mount Athos bay, you can enjoy the freshest seafood on the island (caught early in the morning) and the most mouth-watering delicacies to accompany ouzo. Pure, unaffected flavours, with due respect to the premium-quality fresh raw materials, fresh produce from the island, excellent service, friendly people and, above all, the personal care of chef Vangelis Tousios, who sees that every dish comes complete with authentic Mediterranean flavours and the aura of the Aegean sea. Tonight, you will enjoy a delicious menu inspired by the Greek “Asia Minor kitchens” that is prepared and served by the executive chef of DELTA EDUC GROUP Ioannis Angeloudas in order to challenge the memory, the taste and the smell!

Menu The Feast Of Prikonissos Salted fish «orkyni»* (*Orkyni is a kind of tuna fish which is fished around Ierissos, consisting the gastronomical brand name of Ierissos)
Marinated anchovies** (**The fish and the seafood of Mount Athos are renowned for their exquisite flavor. The reason they are so different from the rest is that the waters of the bay are deep and clean, as the area has many sea currents and there are no organized cultivations to affect it. Thus, our seafood is caught in very deep waters, with the highest salinity in Greece, and rich in plankton and clean food, since no rivers or streams end up in the bay to disturb the balance of the water composition)
Kritama (sea herbs) and small grill shrimps / oil and lemon sauce Ntolmadakia (grape leaves) served with goat milk yogurt Grilled Octopus Fish balls and tomato garlic sauce Olympiada Mussles*** (***Olympiada is famous for its mussels’ production. The clean water of Strimonikos gulf, the Aristotelian Mountain with the rich vegetation, the virgin environment, the content of the sea water make the Olympiada mussels delicious, big, heavy, strong and healthy)
