one mann’s opinion

There are not enough words for me to tell the whole story between the Gural and Mann family but I'll be brief. My brother Bobby and I first met Jeff Gural in elementary school. They were a few years ahead of me but that's where our relationship started and it has continued. Being a few years younger was not easy because I loved sports and would want to play with them. I used to ride my bike behind their group of friends and hoped they would need an extra when playing because I was very good. I was also very peristent which led to my brother Bobby, Jeff and their friend Stanley Silverman to nickname me "The Shadow." But as the years went on, I got better at basketball and I remembered them sitting at the stands, watching me play basketball. I was a highschool freshman starting as varsity and they were great fans.

Additionally, my parents were best friends with Aaron and Marion Gural who lit a candle and my brothers and my bar mitzvahs. Naturally, their relationship had lasted a lifetime, and here we are.

We all know the tremedous success stories and accomplishmemts the Gural family has had and the level that Jeff has taken it to is beyond description— now with his son Eric Gural and nephew Brian Steinwurtzel. It's going to another level. There's many exciting things coming from GFP with the succession in place. New exciting developments. This is an amazing family, very philanthropic with so many organizations donated to, of which make NYC a better place to live in. I am proud and happy that Jeff let us tell this story and let you know what you might not have known, but now you do. Please read the cover story very carefully. Thank you to the Gural family. It was a pleasure to do this with you.

The rest of the content is fabulous and we keep looking for interesting, cutting-edge and exclusive articles that we feel our growing readership would want to read about.

EDITOR’S LETTER

Hello everyone!

It's getting a bit chilly now, but we're making the most of every bit of summer we have left!

Per usual, we have many fantastic events. Rand Luxury team presented the 2025 Hamptons Concours at the private estate of Maria and Kenneth Fishel in Bridgehampton with $100 million worth of exotic cars and more. An amazing time was had for those at the World Transplant Games, held every two years. It is an international sporting event for organ transplant recipients, living donors and donor families.

The vacations are superb. From Italy to Spain to Peru, there's so much adventure to be had and much to delightfully explore.

With beauty, everyday is a new day to try something quirky, fun, different. A cleanser that feels as light as a feather, a fantastic hydrating serum, wearable beauty tech to rejunivate the face—all are worthy beauty things to get into.

We like to inform people about health opportunities and knowledge, and I found it interesting to share Materna Health's mission of providing immediate care for expecting mothers in their earliest stage. No longer having their symptoms/concerns overlooked, Materna Health addresses/treats their needs.

We have art flair that is exciting to read about, food to desire, clothes to look amazing in and more!

Northwell’s Summer Hamptons Evening Event Raises $1.25M

Northwell Health raised $1.25 million at the seventh annual Summer Hamptons Evening. Since its inception, the event has raised more than $6 million to support the Katz Institute for Women’s Health and the communities Northwell serves.

More than 300 supporters attended the event, held at the Water Mill, NY residence of Victoria Moran-Furman, who co-hosted with Iris and Saul Katz, the benefactors of Northwell’s Katz Institute, Eric Moran and celebrity event planner Larry Scott of Lawrence Scott Events. Rosanna Scotto served as emcee.

The Katz Institute for Women’s Health is driven by the Katzes’ vision that women at every life stage should receive access to the best individualized care and resources. The Institute has created the only dedicated network of more than 1,000 experts who are uniquely qualified to address the health care needs of women.

The evening featured a conversation with Northwell physician leaders who are helping shape the health system’s vision for the future, including Stacey E. Rosen, MD, FAHA, executive director of the Katz Institute, senior vice president for women’s health at Northwell and the Partners Council Professor of Women’s Health at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell; Jill Kalman, MD, executive vice president, chief medical officer and deputy physician-in-chief of Northwell and professor of cardiology at the Zucker School of Medicine; and Daniel J. Baker, MD, senior vice president for Northwell and president of Lenox Hill Hospital.

“We continue to invest in a comprehensive continuum of care that addresses our patients’ individual needs,” said Dr. Rosen, who began her tenure this July as president of the American Heart Association, the world’s leading nonprofit organization focused on heart and brain health. “We are so grateful for donors whose generosity helps us improve and expand this care so that all women in our communities—from Montauk to Manhattan and beyond—can live longer, healthier lives.”

In addition to Victoria Moran-Furman, Iris and Saul Katz, Eric Moran and Lawrence Scott Events, other lead sponsors who supported the evening included Michael Fisch, Iris and Michael Smith, Burner Prudenti Law, P.C., Margaret M. Crotty and Rory Riggs, Michelle and Robert Fox, Dr. Paul Jarrod Frank, Alicia and Frank Grande and Grande Cosmetics, Alyssa and Todd Katz, Dayle and Michael Katz, Bob and Karen Kelly, The Lipsay Family Charitable Foundation, Adita and Marcus Mordachini, Lisa and Mark Murphy, Cori and Kenny Orr, Ruth and Michael Slade, Stacy Sklar Wofsy and Evan Wofsy.

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP CELEBRATES EMOTIONAL FINALE

World Transplant Games Dresden End with Emotional Finale—‘Best Games Ever’

After seven days full of sport, emotions and moving stories, the 25th World Transplant Games in Dresden came to a festive close—and are already being described by many athletes and guests as the “best games ever.” With the final medal decisions in athletics, the “Circle of Life,” the symbolic handover of the “Baton of Life” to Leuven (Belgium)—host city of 2027— and with many prominent guests, the World Championship for Transplant Recipients bid farewell from Dresden.

In the afternoon, the last medal decision in athletics took place. On the track and in the stadium, competition for gold, silver and bronze continued until the very end in order to secure the best possible result for the medal table. Here, Great Britain, the country with the most participants (266), took the lead. The British achieved 173 gold, 132 silver and 98 bronze medals. Right behind them was Team Germany (187 participants) with 74 gold, 74 silver and 57 bronze medals. Team USA (110 participants) with 56 gold 40 silver and 50 bronze medals finished third in the medal table.

GRAND FINALE: HAND IN HAND IN THE “CIRCLE OF LIFE”

Traditionally, all athletes formed the “Circle of Life” at the conclusion of the competitions, running towards each other and joining together in a circle at the Heinz-Steyer-Stadium. The “Baton of Life” has now been symbolically passed on to Leuven (Belgium), where the next World Transplant Games will take place in 2027. The festive finale of the last day was the Gala Dinner, where athletes, families, supporters and organizers looked back on the week together and celebrated.

The umbrella organization, the World Transplant Games Federation (WTGF), as well as the national organizers drew a positive conclusion. “Dresden was a truly wonderful host,” said Liz Schick, president of the WTGF. “I can only say: ‘Thank you Dresden!’ I am simply overwhelmed by what has happened here over the past week. From the teams and from participants who have already experienced many World Transplant Games, we very often heard the sentence ‘Excellent organized Games ever.’ If, as a result, even a fraction of people seriously think about organ donation, we have already achieved a lot,” said Gudrun Manuwald-Seemüller, chairwoman of TransDia Sport Deutschland e.V., host of the World Transplant Games 2025.

Dr. Eberhard Schollmeyer, vice chairman of TransDia Deutschland e.V., emphasized: “All the guests who came are enthusiastic, we hear that again and again. They are enthusiastic about Dresden, they felt that they were truly welcome here. I can only agree and emphasize that I have repeatedly

heard ‘The best games ever.’” Schollmeyer highlighted the fantastic competitions in the swimming complex at Freiberger Straße as his personal highlight, as well as the triathlon at the Brettmühlenteich and the emotional Intercultural Celebration in the Frauenkirche at the opening of the Games.

NO GAMES WITHOUT MEDICAL TEAMS, VOLUNTEERS AND HELPERS

The extremely important medical support was provided by doctors and medical staff from the University Hospital Dresden and the Städtisches Klinikum Dresden. “The medical team was incredibly strong and well organized. We were able to ensure that the athletes received the optimal medical care for their transplant history within the shortest possible time.” The care ranged from missing medications (delayed luggage) to wound care following cycling crashes, reported Chief Physician Dr. Mark Frank from the Städtisches Klinikum Dresden.

“Volunteers and the many helpers also achieved incredible things and put their whole hearts into it. And last but not least, a huge thank you to all the sponsors and partners who stood by our side during this time and supported these incredibly great Games,” added Dr. Eberhard Schollmeyer.

The Games can also be measured in numbers: 2,500 athletes, families and supporters from 51 teams from all over the world came to Dresden and competed for medals in 17 sports over seven days. Symbolically, “5,953,928 gifted days” and “16,312 gifted years of life” were recorded. The oldest participant, Mike Gibbons, came from Great Britain at the age of 89. The youngest participant was just five years old and came from Germany. In parallel, around 120 doctors and experts took part over two days in the accompanying IPSOT Medical Symposium (“The Impact of Physical Activity Before and After Solid Organ Transplantation”). The largest single distribution of organ donor cards in Germany to date also attracted attention. Together with the Sächsische Zeitung, the World Transplant Games 2025 brought around 100,000 copies into the distribution area of the Dresden administrative district. A further 20,000 cards will be distributed in subsequent editions.

PATRON ELKE BÜDENBENDER AND AMBASSADOR ROLAND KAISER AS GUESTS

Among the guests of honor were patron and “First Lady” Elke Büdenbender as well as WTG ambassador Roland Kaiser, both of whom brought their personal transplant stories with them to Dresden. Elke

Büdenbender received a kidney from her husband, federal president FrankWalter Steinmeier, in 2010. “What incredible strength these people have is unbelievable. There were standing ovations for everyone who simply made it to the finish—that inspires and gives courage,” she said.

Roland Kaiser was also saved in 2010 by a lung transplant. “It is impressive how the feeling of fairness is lived here. A signal full of vitality and life force. In the end it is also an art of medicine. I see that in my lungs. They function excellently. I can do my work better than ever before,” he explained.

The scene was set in Montauk for a powerful summer gathering at The Surf Lodge. Twin sisters and social impact leaders Shabnam and Shay Safarzadeh hosted The Beauty of Giving Dinner in support of the Safar Global Foundation and the Flaviana Matata Foundation.

Set against the backdrop of the Montauk sunset, the evening welcomed a curated mix of leaders across fashion, beauty, entertainment and philanthropy—all gathering in the name of impact, sisterhood and global change. Over dinner and meaningful conversation, guests joined forces to raise $40,000, completing the funding needed to finish construction on a much-needed Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) facility at a girls’ school in Tanzania—a life-changing project set to be completed this December.

Shabnam and Shay shared the deeply personal roots of their mission, shaped by their upbringing as daughters of a single mother who courageously brought them from Iran to the U.S. in pursuit of education and opportunity. That legacy now fuels their commitment to expanding access.

Seru’Mist–Hydro-active Body Serum BY SEED TO SKIN TUSCANY

The new science-backed hydrophilic body serum that’s setting a precedent in below-the-neck skincare

Delivers deep hydration and rejuvenation through potent, natural actives in a liquid formula

Increases hydration by up to 30% within 1 hour, maintaining moisture for over 24 hours

Reduces fine lines and wrinkles by up to 40%, leaving skin visibly smoother and plumper

Enhances skin elasticity with a 41% increase in firmness

A 34% reduction in skin flakiness, ensuring smoother skin texture

Reduces pigmentation, promoting a more even skin tone and radiant complexion

Seed to Skin Tuscany released The Seru’Mist back in April of 2025—an innovative hydro-active body serum that combines cutting-edge skincare science with fermented and hyperfermented ingredients. The team at Seed to Skin Tuscany had spent three years developing the liquid formula, which delivers exceptional anti-aging results in a refreshing, lightweight mist. The Seru’Mist provides the perfect solution for those seeking a deeply effective serum that rejuvenates and nourishes the skin, delivering lasting hydration and enhanced radiance.

“Our skin craves hydration at a cellular level. Why shouldn’t body care address firmness, elasticity and all the signs of ageing in one formula? What started as a lightweight moisturizer evolved into something far more powerful —a deeply concentrated serum packed with face-grade vitamins, minerals and actives that work like a ‘vitamin drink’ for the skin,” said founder of Seed to Skin Tuscany, Jeanette Thottrup

How The Seru’Mist Works

The Seru’Mist serum uses a unique blend of science and nature, combining bio-ferments, prebiotics, plant-based extracts and a hydrolat complex to nourish, protect and replenish the skin at a deep level. This synergy enhances the skin’s resilience, shields it from environmental stress and offers intense moisture, promoting a refreshed, youthful appearance. At the base of the product lies a unique hydrolat complex made from thermal water, sourced from the regenerative farm, along with neroli, from the blossoms of the bitter orange tree, and rose waters. The use of thermal water instead of regular water supercharges the product, infusing it with essential minerals like calcium, magnesium and silica. Together, these ingredients refresh, nourish and energize the skin, ensuring maximum effectiveness with each use.

Each ingredient in The Seru’Mist has been carefully selected to enhance the serum’s efficacy, ensuring long-lasting, visible results.

Ectoin – A naturally derived molecule that helps to form a protective barrier around the skin cells, shielding them from external aggressors such as pollutants, UV radiation and extreme weather. Known for its ability to prevent dehydration, Ectoin maintains skin hydration, resulting in a balanced and healthy complexion.

Hyperfermented Manna – A botanical extract from the sap of the Manna Ash Tree that deeply hydrates the skin, improving moisture retention and reducing the appearance of fine lines.

Laminaria Digitata Extract and Diatomaceous Earth both support collagen production, enhancing the skin’s firmness and elasticity. These ingredients, rich in silica, promote a firmer and more supple texture while preventing moisture loss.

Inulin – A prebiotic powerhouse that nourishes the skin’s microbiome, balancing moisture levels and soothing inflammation. Known for its exceptional hydrating abilities, it has been clinically compared to hyaluronic acid, demonstrating superior, longer-lasting hydration.

Pseudoalteromonas ferment extract – A marine biotechnological ferment ingredient that provides immediate hydration and smooths skin texture, serving as a powerful alternative to hyaluronic acid.

Lactobacillus ferment and Saccharomyces Lysate – A powerful probiotic and bio-ferment combination that helps to restore the skin’s natural balance, promoting cell renewal, boosting firmness and enhancing smoothness.

Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) – Works to improve skin elasticity, even out skin tone and boost collagen production, leading to a firmer, more resilient complexion.

HOW TO USE: For best results, apply The Seru’Mist directly to the body while the skin is still damp. Simply spray and allow the mist to absorb into the skin, leaving it refreshed and revitalized. The Seru’Mist is suitable for all skin types, including dry, oily, and sensitive skin.

HOW: Priced at €158 ($180), The Seru’Mist is available in select retailers and online.

Deliciously E ective Skin Care

When it comes to whipped beauty products, the selection has been historically limited to shave creams and hair mousse. Dispensing a largerthan-life dollop of whipped cream has remained a sensorial joy reserved for grooming, hairstyling… and dessert!

However, things are starting to change. The latest trend whipping the skin care industry into a frenzy: Whipped body sunscreens and the justlaunched Water Drench Whipped Cream Cleanser from skin care guru Peter Thomas Roth.

An influential segment leader in the beauty industry, Roth is known for creating clinically stronger formulas and leads all research and development efforts at his state-of-the-art lab and manufacturing facility. We caught up with him to learn all about his new fluffy-light skin care creation.

Why did you decide to create a whipped cream cleanser?

“My goal has always been to make clinical skin care fun and accessible, and a whipped cream cleanser seemed like the perfect way to do that! Developing a whipped cream facial cleanser in an aerosol format hasn’t really been done much—it’s a complex process, and achieving stability with propellants tends to be easier with hair and body products. However, after hundreds of formulas, my chemists and I nailed it!”

Tell us about Water Drench Whipped Cream Cleanser.

“My Water Drench Whipped Cream Cleanser is deliciously fluffy—just don’t eat it! The formula cleanses without any dryness or tightness, transforming from a whipped cloud to a creamy lather as you massage it onto your skin. The lightweight, comforting formula won’t strip your skin of moisture, but it’s also very effective at cleansing and makeup removal! It’s actually clinically proven to immediately improve the skin barrier and remove all types of makeup, even water-resistant… Brilliant!”

What ingredients are in your formula?

“As part of my popular Water Drench Collection, I infused my cleanser with hydrating Hyaluronic Acid. This ingredient is amazing and after you rinse my cleanser off, your skin won’t feel dry—trust me! I also formulated my cleanser with nourishing Apple Extract and Provitamin B5, as well as Sunflower Seed Oil and Coconut Acid to dissolve impurities, remove makeup and deep-clean skin. You’re going to love how fresh and clean your skin feels! I can’t wait for you to try it.”

FASHION MEETS FUNCTION: Red Light Therapy Revolutionizing Wearable Beauty Tech

In the ever-evolving intersection of fashion and technology, few innovations have made as seamless—and as stylish—a leap into the beauty space as LED light therapy. Once confined to dermatologists’ offices and elite medspas, this skin-rejuvenating science is now making its way into homes and fashion-forward wellness routines thanks to companies like LED Esthetics. Their suite of FDA-cleared, clinical-grade devices doesn’t just bring professional-level skincare home—it redefines what wearable beauty technology can look and feel like.

THE RISE OF SMART SKINCARE IN STYLE

Wearable tech has long been a fixture in the fitness world, but beauty wearables have historically lagged behind—either lacking in aesthetic appeal or falling short on efficacy. LED Esthetics changes that narrative by offering science-backed devices that pair luxurious design with cuttingedge performance. Think: sleek, wireless, skin-hugging gear that wouldn’t look out of place on a high-fashion runway—if the runway doubled as a wellness spa. Their hero product, the Glotech Mask Pro, is a standout in this new category of fashion-conscious wellness wearables. Designed to contour the face like a second skin, this mask utilizes red, blue and nearinfrared light to target everything from fine lines and acne to dullness and sun damage. It’s a bold visual statement and a high-performance skincare tool all in one, making it as functional as it is photogenic.

FROM FACE TO DÉCOLLETAGE—THE NEW ERA OF SKINCARE REAL ESTATE

Beauty trends have long favored facial skincare, but LED Esthetics is pushing the boundaries of where wearable skincare begins and ends. The Glotech Collar is a perfect example—a red and near-infrared light therapy device that targets the often-overlooked neck and décolletage area. It fits comfortably and elegantly around the neck, delivering 10-minute treatments that help tighten skin, reduce sun spots, and boost collagen. In an age where Zoom neck and screen fatigue are very real aesthetic concerns, the Glotech Collar provides a futuristic yet practical solution—one that blends seamlessly into a high-end self-care routine. Just like a designer scarf or a signature necklace, the Glotech Collar repositions the neck area as a new frontier in both skincare and personal style.

HAIR GROWTH MEETS HEADWEAR: A DISCREET POWER MOVE

The innovation doesn’t stop at skin. LED Esthetics has also brought red light therapy into the world of hair restoration with the Glotech Hair Pro—a foldable light panel that fits discreetly inside any hat. This product exemplifies the fusion of fashion and function: it’s wearable, invisible under your favorite cap and offers powerful hair growth stimulation with just 10 minutes of daily use. Unlike clunky laser helmets or chemical-based hair serums, the Hair Pro is a subtle, design-savvy solution that caters to the modern multitasker.

THE FASHION OF WELLNESS

What LED Esthetics is really offering is more than just technology— it’s a lifestyle shift. Their devices represent a new generation of beauty accessories: functional, wearable and rooted in scientific credibility. With their elegant form factors, wireless convenience and dermatologistapproved results, these pieces are bridging the gap between aesthetic and aesthetics. Whether draped around the neck like a tech-enhanced statement piece or hidden discreetly in a ball cap during your morning walk, each device elevates routine skincare into a fashion-forward ritual. It’s beauty that fits your wardrobe, your schedule and your standards.

THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT—AND RED

As the fashion industry continues to explore functional couture and selfcare technology, companies like LED Esthetics are leading the charge. Their mission is clear: to democratize the power of clinical-grade skincare and hair care, while honoring the elegance and individuality of each user. And in doing so, they’re not just illuminating faces—they’re shining a light on the future of wearable beauty. With LED Esthetics, you don’t have to choose between results and refinement. This is skincare that wears well, in every sense of the word.

HEALTH to Open NYC’s First Same-Day/Next-Day

Early Pregnancy Care Center

New model aims to keep women out of ERs and close the prenatal care gap from preconception to 24 weeks.

This fall, a former CFO of a healthcare-focused investment bank, a certified nurse midwife and a perinatologist will open Materna Health in New York City, the first dedicated early pregnancy center designed to provide timely, compassionate care and keep pregnancy out of Emergency Departments.

“After going through pregnancy myself, I was shocked by how little support existed,” said Kristen Williams, CEO and cofounder of Materna. “At six weeks, I experienced spotting and was sent to the ER before I had even met my OB-GYN. I was dismissed, misguided and terrified. That moment revealed just how broken our system is when it comes to early pregnancy care. I kept asking: ‘Where do women go when complications arise before their first OB appointment? Why is no one talking about this window of time?’”

What began as personal frustration became a mission when Williams met Dr. Yaakov Abdelhak, a high-risk perinatologist (MFM), and Kristin Mallon, a certified nurse midwife. Both confirmed what Williams had experienced firsthand: there is a critical gap in care during the earliest weeks of pregnancy. Together, they began building a team of OB/GYNs, emergency department physicians and expert nursing staff focused on real solutions for real symptoms in women’s health.

The need is undeniable. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, up to 25% of women experience bleeding in the first trimester, and nausea and vomiting affect as many as 80% of pregnancies. Hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe, potentially debilitating form of nausea and vomiting affects up to 3% of pregnancies, and is one of the leading causes of hospitalization in the first trimester. Many of these patients end up in emergency rooms that are designed for trauma, not the nuanced needs of early pregnancy. Nationally, pregnant patients account for about 3% of all ER visits each year, according to the National Institutes of Health.

“Too often, women are sent to the ER or told to ‘wait it out,’” said Williams. “Materna was created by those who’ve lived it, treated it and decided to change it.”

The practice’s mission is to close the gap between a positive pregnancy test and a patient feeling confident in their pregnancy, a span that can have weeks without a scheduled

medical appointment, yet is filled with physical and emotional uncertainty. Materna will be offering same day and next day prenatal visits, ultrasounds, preconception guidance, IV hydration, iron infusions, nausea and vomiting treatments, medication management, mental health support and sound medical advice and reassurance from expert OB/GYNs.

“Materna is finally giving women an obstetrical solution to get through the most exhausting and difficult part of pregnancy: the beginning,” said Dr. Abdelhak, co-founder and perinatologist. “For too long, women in the earliest weeks of pregnancy have been left to navigate complications alone—shuttled to overcrowded ERs, or told to wait days or weeks for care that can’t wait. Materna Health is the answer to that silent crisis: a new model of same-day and next-day pregnancy care that steps in where the system has stepped back.”

“This is a direct response to the stories we’ve heard and lived ourselves, the women curled up on bathroom floors, the partners helpless to ease their pain, the missed diagnoses that could have been caught earlier,” added Williams. “We’re building the kind of care women deserve.”

Materna Health will open in September 2025 in the West Village in New York City.

To learn more, book an appointment, or schedule an interview with the founders of Materna Healthcare, visit www.maternahealthcare.com, follow @materna_health_ on Instagram, or contact Kristen Williams at kwilliams@ maternahealthcare.com.

A Banquet Mid-Collapse The Opulent Rebellion of Andreana Dobreva

Still life is a misnomer in the hands of Andreana Dobreva. The table does not sit; it shivers. Fruit does not ripen; it remembers. Silver does not gleam; it confesses. Her newest works—Endless Night (180 × 140 cm), Transit of Mars (200 × 250 cm) and Processing the Night (180 × 200 cm)—extend her ongoing seduction of the genre into a deeper, more celestial register. These canvases surged through Frieze’s No. 9 Cork Street in London as part of her residency with the Quinn Emanuel Art Foundation, where viewers found themselves less in a gallery than at a séance for history, pigment and appetite. Munich will have its turn in September 2025, when Heldenreizer Contemporary presents her new solo, a timely homecoming for an artist who converts memory into matter with unapologetic grandeur.

Dobreva refuses the old etiquette of restraint. The Dutch table reappears, yet the lace trembles and the goblet looks as if it has just exhaled. The paint itself is a protagonist—impastoed, fevered, exquisitely disobedient—pulling the eye into passages where clarity and dissolution trade kisses. Transit of Mars tilts the table toward the heavens; not a still life so much as a planetary crossing, where pomegranate becomes eclipse and copper becomes orbit. Processing the Nightlingers after midnight, when perfumes thicken and edges blur, when the psyche admits what it truly desires. Endless Nightfeels like the afterglow of a banquet that refused to end, a velvet hush held together by the weight of color.

Biography here reads like foundation rather than explanation. Raised in Bulgaria, trained first in icon painting at Art Gymnasium “Dimitar Dobrovitsch,” Dobreva learned the sanctity and discipline of the sacred image before testing its perimeter. Studies in educational science and psychology at Ludwig Maximilian University sharpened her interest in perception—how images imprint, fracture, regenerate—while the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, under Florian Pumhösl, gave her the rigorous studio arena to unlearn politeness. The result is a painter who stages collisions: classical representation meets Abstract Expressionist velocity, vanitas meets volupté, devotion meets delirium.

Technique becomes thesis. Thick, lavish strokes are not decoration; they are argument. Dobreva pushes paint until it breathes, then asks it to confess what history tries to keep dignified. The old symbolic pantry—grapes, silver, fur, citrus, pewter—returns not as props but as accomplices. Vanitas motifs regain their sting; time feels sticky again. Each composition sets a trap for certainty, a sumptuous structure that unravels as you approach. The pleasure is real, so is the rot, and that exquisite tension is the point.

The lineage is unflinchingly clear without becoming derivative. Echoes

of Baroque splendor hum beneath a contemporary appetite for risk. Specters of Francis Bacon drift through the room, not as horror but as heat—figural intensity refracted through a distinctly feminine intelligence that refuses both prettiness and brutality as categories. Previous exhibitions have mapped this territory with increasing authority: “Public Grapes – Anonymous Meat” at Fiumano Clase in London teased the border where appetite becomes omen; the Munich diptych “Cancelled the Birds and Kept the Waves” and “Against Nature” at Heldenreizer established her as a fluent choreographer of chaos and control. Inclusion in “From Old Master to Contemporary” at Emanuel von Baeyer set her among the very lineages she interrogates, a placement that felt less like a nod and more like a dare.

Imagery courses forward with a dramaturgy of its own. A Dobreva table rarely waits politely. Wine arcs midair. Velvet looks heavy enough to bruise. Citrus seems one exhale away from candied collapse. The banquet she offers is always mid-event—glorious, compromised, irresistible. This is not revisionist nostalgia; this is a sovereign painter repossessing the language of opulence to expose its pulse. The work never begs. It beckons, then demands.

Concept meets carnality in her studio notes, where visual memory is treated as choreography. Painting becomes the physical act through which remembrance reforms itself. Gestural bursts turn centuries of etiquette into something feral yet articulate. That is why the canvases feel alive in the literal sense: structure holds, then slips; forms cohere, then flirt with ruin. The viewer becomes complicit, reading the image while being read by it.

Context matters, and Dobreva’s is unusually dynamic. The Quinn Emanuel Art Foundation residency gave her the kind of temporal and intellectual runway that ambitious painting requires; Frieze’s No. 9 Cork Street offered the pressure test of a London audience keenly attuned to both performance and rigor. Munich’s upcoming presentation will fold personal geography back into professional velocity, a dialogue between where the language was forged and where it now speaks most fluently.

Legacy, in her case, is not a museum whisper; it is a stage direction. Still life, returned to its original menace and charm, becomes a theater for power, desire and time. Collectors do not simply acquire images; they take custody of a conversation that refuses to cool. The table is set, the night is long, the paint is still warm.

New York readers should keep their eyes open; opportunities to engage with Dobreva’s work have a way of arriving like a late guest who elevates the whole party. For inquiries and future features, visit avalonashley.com.

Viva LA

The Art of Branding the City of Los Angeles

Renown artist Andre Miripolsky has taken on his biggest canvas yet: Viva LA, a movement of embracing the dynamic city.

From ‘I NY’ to ‘Keep Austin Weird,’ iconic cities have iconic slogans and LA never really had one.

So, what slogan defines the world’s creative city of Los Angeles?

Artist Andre Miripolsky is the creator of Viva LA, a movement, mantra and public art campaign that seeks to give Los Angeles something it’s never truly had—a shared cultural identity.

This question took center stage at a civic luncheon hosted by the Assistance League of LA, where artist Andre Miripolsky presented the missing brand identity of Los Angeles.

Why doesn’t LA have a unifying message?

Miropolsky’s team shared that Los Angeles attracts 49 million annual visitors, 186 spoken languages and is a creative capital. Perhaps, LA has too many stories?

Rather than trying to distill LA into a single image or landmark, Andre said Viva LA celebrates its diversity. It doesn’t define Los Angeles. It invites everyone to define it for themselves.

Viva LA’s Mission

Andre’s vision is a city brought together through murals, music, storytelling and cultural pride. Believing art should be everywhere, Viva LA is a campaign of creativity and community, branding not just for tourists, but for the people who call LA home.

Proof That Art Changes Everything

Andre shared a powerful example: At the School of Arts and Enterprise in Pomona, Andre painted the outside four walls. Graduation rates soared, graffiti disappeared, proof that art changes environments and environments change people.

Viva LA aims to make art public, seen, powerful and personal.

A Peek Inside Andre’s Studio

After lunch, we followed Andre through the maze of downtown LA to his studio in the Brewery Arts Complex, an artist colony hidden behind a garage door painted with the Viva LA angel wings and heart.

Inside? A creative universe. There were nostalgic prickle pins made from bowling alley pins at Caesars Palace. Pop-art sculptures. One standout piece: a painting of Elton John at his 1980 Central Park concert, wearing a piano motif jacket, the artwork designed by Miripolsky’s. The moment lives on in music and fashion history.

It was clear that this studio was more than a workspace. It was the birthplace of Viva LA, not as a slogan, but as a way of seeing and shaping the city.

The Viva LA Arts Initiative

Through the Viva LA Arts Initiative, merchandise from apparel to sculptures aims to fund public art projects in schools, neighborhoods and underfunded cultural spaces. Will the city fund the art? That is unlikely.

Retail Early apparel and merch partners included retailer Ron Robinson at Fred Segal, which helped bring Viva LA to stores and the community.

Today, the collection continues online with artwork and wearables to express love for Los Angeles. Funds raised help support the arts programs, which you can shop at vivala.us/discount/VivaLAFashion or use the code VivaLAFashion.

Viva LA!

His passion, discipline, willingness and pure dedication has lead to decades of prosperity, ingenuity and overall accomplishment.

It was never Jeffrey Gural’s intention to follow in his father’s footsteps— famous real estate developer Aaron Gural—or that of his family in general. “Most people don’t know that my father’s uncles were the Spear of Helmsley Spear, and Aaron Rabinowitz, who ran Fred F. French. So, my father whose family were real estate people had come over from Europe and ended up in the real estate business,” said Gural. But he loved construction, which is why he got a degree in civil engineering. After being unable to get a job in New York due to lack of experience, after graduating from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, he decided to drive across the country with a friend who was going to Stanford, to see if he could get a job in California in construction. Upon reaching California, Gural immediately saw ads all over for civil engineers, the biggest being from the state, so he went to work for the state of California, completing a two year training program. During Gural’s time in California, he got married to his college sweetheart and they had their first child together. After completing the training program, Gural moved back to New York with his family and he began working with MorseDiesel Construction Co., of which he loved, thinking he would one day run the company. At the time he was there, Carl Morse was the chairman. Irwin Miller and Harold Schiff were the presidents, with Gural as Miller’s assistant.

While Jeffrey Gural was at Morse-Diesel, every year his father would bring him to lunch with his partners and try to talk him into working with them at Newmark. This was because of all the children of the Newmark partners, Jeffrey Gural was the only one that could possibly become the next generation. The other children were too young or disinterested and living in another state. At the time, however, Jeffrey Gural had no interest in working with them until Morse sold his company to Aramark, a food service company. Gural mentioned, “Back then there was a theory that a public company should diversify. So, they diversified by buying a construction company. At that point, basically two things happened. One, we were building so many buildings, and back then the builders built on spec, so they would build an office building without a tenant. We were building maybe six buildings just on Water Street alone downtown. And I said to myself, ‘I think the real estate market’s going to crash and I don’t want to work for a food service company.’” So, Gural began to work with his father.

Newmark was a small garment center company at the time Jeffrey Gural began working there. His father ran buildings for Furman Wolfson Trust, a big client of theirs, and eventually landed his first big assignment outside of the garment center area—to run the Paramount Building on 1501 Broadway. Jeffrey Gural was in charge of that project and moved Furman's offices there. He also formed a very good relationship with the owners. Running the Paramount Building was big, but a true turning point to success began when one day, Jack Schenker, who was running an industry building on 230 5th Avenue—of which Aaron Gural had put a syndicate together for, having bought it for little to nothing—came to Newmark, saying two young guys were taking all the tenants and putting them in a showroom building that Rudin had built at 41 Madison. Gural’s solution for this was to hire them—Barry Gossin and Harvey Richer, buying the duo's company. This was the key, with Jeffrey Gural saying, “I had grown up middle class. I had no great desire to be super rich. I was happy. Barry, on the other hand, was really driven to be successful. He wanted to be a top broker. He wanted to buy buildings. That changed our whole operation.

When Barry Gosin came aboard, Newmark shifted gears and started to acquire buildings. Some of the buildings bought were with George Kaufman and the Bronfman Canadian family company, CEMP Investments, aided

by the friendly relationship Aaron Gural had with George Kaufman and the one Kaufman developed with CEMP. Jeffrey Gural hired a guy named Dan Friedman to go out and look at properties to see if they were worth acquiring. Gural said, “Back then, properties cost nothing. If you bought a building for $10 million. Today, it might be worth 200 million. It was easy. You would borrow 7 million and call two of your friends, put in a million each, and you would own the building. My job was to find deals and get the financing. Barry’s job was to do the leasing. We gradually grew the business.”

Then there was a change. In 1986, the government decided to do away with tax shelters, prompting real estate to collapse. There were a lot of real estate deals that were done for tax reasons, getting a big return on one’s money. So, everybody was doing it. Gural said, “The government said this isn’t right. They came up with a law and said in order for you to take the losses, you have to be an active investor, not a passive investor. And passive losses could only be used against passive gains. So, all the people who invested in the projects walked away, and the people who did the deals walked away. The banks got a lot of the properties back but went under, leading to the government creating the Resolution Trust Corporation, which took over all of the banks. The government lost trillions of dollars. “For a while we were getting killed, because even though we were in the real estate business, they treated the profits that we got from the losses from the buildings as passive losses. So, we were paying taxes on the profit from Newmark and not deducting the losses from the buildings,” said Gural. He added, “It was a bad recession. Eventually they [the government] changed that.

Newmark then decided to go into the brokerage business—of which Barry Gosin took on—and not just grow their acquisition. “We sublet space down the street on Madison Avenue and Barry went out and recruited brokers from Helmsley Spear and Edward S. Gordon and we started a brokerage business. Then, I continued to grow the acquisition business until prices spiked. We stopped acquiring because it was hard to justify acquiring a building bought for 10 million to buy the same building across the street for 50 million. So, we took a break and focused on leasing up the buildings that we had bought for literally nothing, with a handful of friends and family, said Gural, who never had institutional partners until now because GFP has been doing big deals. But at this point, Newmark grew, and the ownership did well. They were borrowing money at 3.5% percent, which was great. Everything was good.

Then COVID hit. Interest rates doubled. “Fortunately, we’re not overleveraged, and we have the capital to upgrade our big buildings. We

have the money to build the space when a tenant vacates, said Gural, who was able to anticipate the rate increase and refinanced about half of their buildings at the low rates. When Gural was doing this prior to COVID, he said, “Barry thought it was disadvantageous because we were trying to compete with big public companies. In order to compete, you had to have offices all over the world and certainly all over North America. We were getting crushed because every time we would open an office, it would cost us a million dollars, so if we made a profit of a million dollars, we would basically spend it all on opening offices. So, all the profit that Newmark was making, we were putting back into the business.” Barry Gosin decided Newmark needed to partner with a public company, selling the business to BGC. Gural never wanted to be part of a public company. He said, “Newmark didn’t own anything. All the buildings were owned by various LLCs, of which I was the managing member. I agreed that I would stay for five years and keep my buildings there. Newmark would manage my buildings and get the fees and the commissions.” Gural was concerned that people would think Newmark owned all of those buildings because they all had a Newmark sign on it. Gural wanted to make it clear that buyers were purchasing a management leasing company, not any ownership of real estate. At the end of five years, he left Newmark and moved to 515 Madison Avenue, changed the name to GFP, which is Gural Family Properties, and basically started it from scratch. Now, those buildings that once had Newmark signs, have GFP management leads so there’s no confusion. Gural still owns stock in Newmark and still uses Newmark when GFP has significant vacancies, and to do leasing and store retail. “We’re still connected,” said Gural, who never thought the buildings they’d bought would be worth so much money. He credited Barry Gosin completely for Newmark’s growth.

Gural said he’s had a good run when the interest rates were 3.5% but finds that the best days are behind—to a certain extent—unless rates come down or rent goes up. However, he said, “We have the advantage. We have not given any buildings back to the banks, nor do we intend to. So, you’ll see some very big companies who’ve given buildings back. But you won’t see Gural and GFP give any buildings back.

Now, aside from solely buildings, Gural has a significant interest in horses, which in turn led to his horse track acquisitions. He said, “Back when I was a kid in high school, everybody went to the track. Horse racing was more popular than football and baseball. There was only one way you could legally bet, and that was to go to a racetrack. There were no lotteries. There were no casinos.” When Gural started going to the racetrack, he

became interested in it, so much so, that he became owner of a couple of horses at 30, and got a trainer for them, along with some partners on the horses. The sport however, was gradually dying, especially harness racing. People in the industry said the only hope to keep the sport alive was to get the government to allow slot machines to subsidize horse racing.

Gural commenced his efforts. At the time, Republicans were in office. Governor Pataki was fine, but Speaker Shelly Silver, who the opposition was coming from, assumed to be on moral grounds, was the challenge. Gural, who has political friends, got a meeting with Shelly and the people who owned the racetracks. He convinced her that it would generate a lot of money for the state. This was back when the Racino law was first passed in New York in 2001, right after 9/11—a legislation allowing racetracks to have slot video lottery terminals (VTS) run by the lottery. These racetracks with VTS became known as racinos. The owner of the racetrack would get a percentage of the profits from the slot machines, and a portion of that went to the purses for harness racing. Eventually, that became a very successful model.

One day, Gural’s wife asked him, “Why are you doing all this work? You don’t own a racetrack.” This prompted Gural to buy a racetrack. After purchase deals initially fell through with some tracks, a broker called him about a quarter horse track, Tioga Downs, that had been closed for 20 years in Binghamton. Gural and his wife drove to look at the racetrack and saw that it was a mess. When staying at the Best Western, about 10 miles away, Gural asked some people what their thoughts were on him buying this racetrack. They thought it was a great idea and affirmed that there was nothing to do around there. So Gural, who knew nothing about casinos, and was a horse guy, bought Tioga Downs and partnered with the casino company Nevada Gold. They owned 40%. GFP owned 20%. Gural was in charge of the racing. There was also a hedge fund that owned 20% and a man from Canada that owned 20%.

When Tioga Downs opened, they faced many challenges. “As soon as we opened, we were losing a million dollars a month because all of the projections the casino company had done were wrong. After about a year, Nevada Gold said their stock was 2 cents. They walked away. We bought their interest. The guy from Canada disappeared. Now, I was partners with a hedge fund. The only way we were surviving was getting the tax rate lowered,” said Gural, which he did by proving to the state that if they lowered the tax rate, the state would make more money. Gural added, “It sounds counterintuitive, but that’s what happened. Every time I got the tax

rate lowered, the state made more money because it gave us more money to use for marketing. People who come to a casino know they’re going to lose money, but what they want is a free meal, a free hotel room, a free this, a free that, whatever.”

Troubles were still not gone. When the recession then hit, Gural received a call from his partner at the hedge fund saying the hedge fund was closing due to too many withdrawals. The hedge fund sold their company to Blackstone. Blackstone went on to restructure the debt on the property and lucky enough, they did not want to get licensed, giving Gural the equities of which he now owns 100%. Blackstone had given Tioga Downs a twoyear lease, which gave them time to become profitable. Tioga Downs was lobbying as a group for the state to allow casinos to do a constitutional amendment that would allow casino gambling. “I believe that in 2013, the state passed the constitutional amendment that would allow seven casinos. Four had to be upstate and three had to be downstate. Everybody wanted the downstate licenses…so they put a provision that the downstate licenses couldn’t be issued for seven years from when the first upstate casino opened. I got one of the four upstate licenses," said Gural. Tioga Downs was a racino. In December of 2016, Gural began converting Tioga Downs as a casino in phases. Phase one was to expand the racino so that table games could be added. Phase two included adding restaurants and phase three added a hotel. Tioga Downs became profitable—and the only casino that met the projections given to the state due to no overbilling. Once that happened, they continued to grow and make improvements. “We have a golf course, a hotel. It’s a destination resort. We also own Vernon Downs, which is another racetrack,” said Gural.

Getting the money to finance these casinos was not easy. Gural had mentioned, since he was not a casino guy, nobody would lend him the money for it. He had to borrow it from banks, which he said was fortuitous because the interest rates from banks were lower than the interest rates of high yield bonds, and casinos typically borrowed money from those bonds. “Eventually we were able to pay back the original land loans and we were able to get a new loan. But I could never get my money out [of Tioga Downs]. The only way to get my money out was about a year ago. I did a sale-leaseback with a public company, GLPI. They mainly owned the land under casinos. I signed a 30-year lease and now it’s a sale-leaseback, so I still run it. Nothing’s changed. I don’t have any debt. But I pay rent to GLPI. We also own the land under the Bethlehem Casino. That was a lucky break there. We made a lot of money,” said Gural.

Jeffrey Gural has also invested in the Meadowlands Racetrack in New Jersey. There was a point where the racetrack was about to close. Governor Christie came along and was really trying to help Atlantic City when the state owned the racetracks but was losing money. Christie decided the best thing to do was to close them because Atlantic City was giving the racetracks $20 million a year to not ask for slot machines. Gural recalled, “The Meadowlands was the number one harness track in the world, certainly in North America. I thought he [Christie] was bluffing.” Gural called a man from the governor’s office to work something out with the racetrack. When the man found out Gural was a legitimate horse connoisseur, Gural was able to then negotiate a deal with the governor for a 90-day due diligence to see if he wanted to do a deal. Gural said, “I met with the governor that day and did a press conference about trying to save the Meadowlands Racetrack. I basically came up with a concept where we built a brand new grandstand, spent $120 million, and gave the state back the old grandstand.

Unfortunately, still horse racing is too slow. What saved the Meadowlands Racetrack was getting sports betting legalized in New Jersey. Gural said, “Myself, and the owner of Monmouth worked with the state to get it legalized. They passed a referendum in New Jersey legalizing sports betting, but the [major] leagues opposed it. They went to court and the court said it was illegal [and] that there was a federal law called PASPA that prevented sports betting in any place but Las Vegas. They [lawyers of the state of New Jersey] then said, let’s try a new approach. They got a new referendum passed that said sports betting would be legal if it was not taxed and regulated by the state of New Jersey, which made no sense. They said yeah, but that’ll make it legal.” The state passed that, and the leagues opposed it, so the battle was lost again. With the first loss, an appeal was made to the Supreme Court and was rejected. This second time the appeal was going to be a hail Mary, but we decided to appeal anyway and this time It was accepted. The Supreme Court allowed sports betting. Gural said, “We were the first state to have sports betting and the first place to have it at two racetracks, Monmouth and the Meadowlands.”

New York had also made a legislation that put a provision in where if sports betting became legal, you could have it at the casinos in New York. Gural said, “I was the only one that controlled both New York and New Jersey. So, if you could make a deal with Jeff Gural, you could offer sports betting both in New Jersey and New York. I was in the driver’s seat, and I decided that I would make a deal with FanDuel.” Gural got FanDuel to merge with Paddy Power, who uses the FanDuel name. With FanDuel, Gural opened a sportsbook at the Meadowlands and online in New Jersey. He said, “At the time when we first opened—because New York didn’t have online [sports betting], we were the largest sportsbook in the world. Half of all the business of sports betting in New Jersey is done by FanDuel in partnership with us, and that’s kept us afloat. But my goal there [in New Jersey] is that once the New York casinos open, we get a constitutional amendment allowing New Jersey to offer casino gambling at the Meadowlands. No place else. I think I’ll be in a good spot.”

Jeffrey Gural has accomplished a plenitude of achievements and success in his career. He continually works hard and sets new goals regularly. He’s kept his business primarily family-run, with his son, Eric Gural and nephew, Brian Steinwurtzel, who are Co-CEO’s of the company. His sister, Jane Gural-Senders daughter is their in-house counsel and she runs one of the buildings. Gural now has two grandchildren in the business which he says is really a thrill. As for his end goal for GFP, Gural said, “To keep it as a family business, at least, through two more generations.”

THE NEW FACE OF GOLF LIVING:

Where Fairways Meet City Streets

For decades, golf course living was defined by its seclusion. Expansive greens and gated communities offered exclusivity and serenity. The tradeoff was clear: residents had access to manicured fairways and clubhouses, but often at the cost of accessibility to vibrant downtown neighborhoods bursting with culture and nightlife.

Today, a new wave of residential developments are changing that equation, reimagining golf communities for buyers who want both world-class play and a city’s vibrancy at their doorstep. Nowhere is this shift more evident than in Boca Raton, where a major downtown redevelopment is blending luxury living with championship golf in a way that feels both timely and transformative.

THE GREENS TO THE GALLERIES

At the center of this movement is the Via Mizner redevelopment, a sprawling, mixed-use district designed to connect residents to the cultural and culinary heartbeat of Boca Raton. Here, instead of driving miles to reach a curated restaurant, residents can stroll to a wine bar, shop at designer boutiques or attend a gallery opening, all without leaving the neighborhood.

The development’s crown jewel, The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Boca Raton, overlooks the 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Championship Golf Course, providing an uninterrupted visual link between the city’s urban energy and the lush expanse of rolling greens. Starting at $3.5 million, the boutique collection of 85 residences marks one of only 12 Mandarin Oriental residential properties worldwide, and Boca Raton’s first branded residences development.

A NEW KIND OF MEMBERSHIP

At The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Boca Raton, the approach to amenities reflects this urban-country club hybrid. Buyers receive access to a dual membership that marries two worlds: the Golf Club and the City Club.

The Golf Club delivers what you’d expect from a top-tier facility: meticulously designed fairways by one of the sport’s most iconic names, practice facilities and a clubhouse complete with dining, a pool, tennis courts and a fitness center. But the City Club, just steps away within the attached hotel, offers its own set of indulgences: fine dining, a luxury spa, fitness facilities, a business center, a kids’ club and two rooftop pools that frame sweeping views of Boca Raton’s skyline and coastline.

It’s a model that not only broadens the definition of golf living but also caters to households where interests extend well beyond the course. In many cases, one partner may be an avid golfer while the other prefers the spa, shopping or cultural programming. The dual membership eliminates the need to compromise.

WHY NOW?

The timing for this hybrid concept is no accident. The pandemic-era migration patterns that saw city dwellers seeking more space have begun to evolve. Buyers still value privacy and green space, but many are unwilling to forgo the walkability and stimulation they enjoyed in urban centers. Developments like Via Mizner offer a solution: proximity to both open fairways and cosmopolitan amenities.

Moreover, the cultural perception of golf itself is shifting. The sport, once associated with a more traditional and homogenous demographic, is increasingly attracting younger players and a more diverse crowd. With that comes a greater appetite for communities that feel dynamic, inclusive and connected to the surrounding city.

A VISION FOR THE FUTURE

As more cities rethink their downtown landscapes, the integration of golf into mixed-use developments could become a more familiar sight. For Boca Raton, it signals a willingness to innovate while staying true to the area’s reputation for luxury.

Whether residents come for the Jack Nicklaus-designed course or the rooftop cocktails with ocean views, the result is the same: a lifestyle where the city and the course no longer compete for attention, they complement each other.

In the new era of golf living, you can have your nine holes and your night out, too.

GRAND BRASSERIE A CULINARY

JEWEL IN A LANDMARK NYC SETTING

Grand Brasserie Restaurant in New York City Redefining French Elegance in Grand Central

Terminal

In a city where dining experiences are as iconic as its skyline, Grand Brasserie restaurant offers something rare: timeless French sophistication served within the architectural majesty of Grand Central Terminal’s Vanderbilt Hall. For luxury travelers seeking a culinary experience as refined as it is rooted in New York history, this new 400-seat brasserie is both a celebration of classic Parisian dining and a bold, modern statement in hospitality.

Helmed by Executive Chef Guillaume Thivet, a master of French cuisine with a pedigree shaped by legendary establishments such as Bouley, Brasserie Les Halles and La Grande Boucherie, Grand Brasserie brings elevated brasserie fare to the daily rhythm of the city. “We want the menu to be elegant, affordable and approachable to everyone visiting our restaurant,” shared Chef Thivet. “You can find caviar on the menu, as well as a well-balanced onion soup. Our main goal is to enhance the flavor of our ingredients, and we want our guests to feel comfortable ordering any dishes—as if they are in France without having to leave NYC.” The result is a versatile, all-day menu featuring premium ingredients, classic

techniques and modern flair. Available from 5:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily, diners can indulge in everything from a decadent Lobster Omelette with smoked char roe beurre blanc to the perfectly crispy and bold Chicken Paillard, Chef Thivet’s personal favorite. “It represents everything we do,” he explained. “It’s a difficult dish to create with the right balance... a flattenededge crispy chicken breast with a bold, tangy flavor and toasted almond for crunch.”

Design That Breathes History and Glamour

Designed by the award-winning Rockwell Group, Grand Brasserie’s interiors honor the grandeur of Vanderbilt Hall while incorporating rich textures and warm ambiance. “Rockwell Group’s design transformed Vanderbilt Hall’s grand space into a welcoming brasserie that feels quintessentially New York,” said Chef Thivet. The main dining room, seating 300, and the hidden 100-seat Green Room, featuring rich leather banquettes and a grand marble bar, offer guests distinct environments tailored to mood and occasion.

Craft Cocktails and Rare Wines in a Gilded Setting

Curated by Grand Brasserie Beverage Director David Orellana, a seasoned hospitality expert with upwards of two decades of experience working at some of NYC’s finest dining rooms, the restaurant’s beverage program is a masterclass in elegance. Signature cocktails like La Vie En Rose (a vodka rosewater Cosmopolitan) and Now or Never (a hibiscus-lavender

mojito) marry classic and innovative elements. “Our most popular cocktail is the Nitro Espresso Martini,” noted Chef Thivet. Meanwhile, the wine list features over 400 labels, including 40 by the glass and several rare vintages—a true paradise for oenophiles.

Brunch Through Dinner With Panache

The brunch menu, served until 3 p.m., is a highlight for early risers or those seeking a power breakfast in one of New York’s most bustling transportation hubs. Guests can savor Viennoiserie pastries and tartines with beurre Isigny or indulge in the Smoked Salmon Tower and Steak and Eggs. The menu gracefully transitions into a full dinner service, which I experienced, offering French classics like Moules Frites, Steak Frites (with multiple cuts and sauces), Foie Gras Mousse, Caviar Service and more.

On the evening of my visit, my own party indulged in an array of truly todie-for starters, entrees and desserts.

The evening started with a Cheese and Charcuterie selection with numerous accoutrements. A curated tableau of textures and tastes, the cheese and charcuterie board is a rustic-chic masterpiece. Aged cheeses, from creamy triple crèmes to nutty, crystalline firm wheels, dance alongside air-dried cured meats, their marbled edges glistening. Tiny ramekins of wholegrain mustard, seasonal compotes, pickled vegetables and honeycomb offer contrast and complexity with every bite. Each pairing delivers a fresh interplay of salt, fat, acid and sweet—designed to linger over with wine and conversation.

Attentions then turned to the Escargot Persillade. Tucked into a small porcelain crock, the snails arrive in a pool of verdant parsley and golden garlic butter, all crowned by a flaky puff pastry. The intoxicating aroma of this dish curls into the air before your fork even lifts. Each escargot offers a rich, silky texture that is well balanced with the herbaceous fresh parsley. The butter begs to be mopped up with a hunk of pastry or a baguette— creating that deeply satisfying bite where garlicky indulgence meets oldworld elegance.

The Tuna Tartare with avocado and soy-lime dressing was equally a delight. Presented to please the eyes as much as the palate, the tuna tartare is a delicate layering of jewel-toned fish and creamy avocado. Each dice of sushi-grade tuna melts on the tongue, gently bathed in a zesty soy-lime dressing that brightens without overpowering. There’s a textural thrill too—a crunch from a crumbled crisp blankets the top, ensuring each bite is both luxurious and electric with freshness.

Another savory start was the Lobster Bisque. Silken and opulent, this lobster bisque is a study in refinement. Each creamy spoonful glides across the palate, unfolding waves of buttery depth and sea-warmed brine. This is the kind of bisque that lingers—a luxurious prelude to the meal, both soothing and sublime.

Of course, no French brasserie is complete without Onion Soup. Here, this classic is done with reverence and heart. Beneath a bubbling, bronzed cap of Gruyère lies a broth steeped in time—sweet caramelized onions swimming in a sherry-kissed consommé. The molten cheese pulls in long, elegant threads with each spoonful, revealing the earthy comfort below.

Toasted croutons soaked through with savory intensity make this a layered, soul-warming experience—more than a soup, it’s a memory in a bowl.

My own entrée pick for the evening was the Dover Sole Meuniére. A showstopper of restrained luxury, the fish is bathed in nutty brown butter and kissed with lemon. The flesh is delicate and flaky, its subtle sweetness enhanced by the sauce’s rich, toasted aroma. Each bite evokes coastal elegance—light and clean, yet decadently satisfying.

Other must-have menu classics include the Duck Confit with Pommes Salardaise and Frisée as well as the Boeuf Bourguignon with Pommes Purée. Rest assured, you cannot go wrong with either.

For those with a sweet tooth, while stellar dessert options abound, don’t miss the Dark Chocolate Mousse with Whipped Cream. Decadent and dreamy, the dark chocolate mousse texture flirts between airy and dense, rich in cocoa yet refined in sweetness. The whipped cream is cloud-like, offering lightness that plays beautifully against the mousse’s deep, slightly bitter edge. This dessert is both a finish and a finale—intensely satisfying, sensual and meant to be savored slowly.

Something for Everyone—At Any Hour

A unique aspect of Grand Brasserie is its accessibility. “We welcome everyone—from New Yorkers, commuters going in and out of Grand Central Terminal, families and, of course, visitors from around the globe,” said Chef Thivet. The restaurant serves as a seamless fusion of old-world leisure and modern-day momentum, offering prix-fixe menus such as a three-course brunch ($35) and pre-theater dinner menu ($60).

“Traditional French brasseries are best known for their welcoming and leisurely atmosphere,” said Thivet. “We encourage our patrons to enjoy their dining experience at their own pace, whether they choose to linger and people-watch or need to grab a quick bite before catching the next train.”

A Space Rich in Legacy and Lore

Once the primary waiting room for travelers, Vanderbilt Hall’s transformation into Grand Brasserie is poetic. “Rockwell Group’s inspiration focused on the idea of returning the space into a community gathering, where busy commuters might pause for a cocktail or a bite to eat,” reflected Thivet. And celebrities are already taking note—Thivet says that Katie Holmes and her daughter recently dined at the locale, as did comedian Hasan Minhaj and his family.

With its daily hours, year-round operation and 400-seat capacity, Grand Brasserie is a dynamic yet luxurious cornerstone for any visit to New York City. Whether you’re in search of caviar and Champagne before curtain call, a quick yet refined business lunch or a romantic dinner in one of the city’s most atmospheric venues, Grand Brasserie delivers.

In Thivet’s own words: “French food is rich and diverse... Fortunately, we are gathering all this in one place at Grand Brasserie.”

Indeed, it’s not just a meal—it’s a destination.

God’s Love We Deliver

Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka opened their far-flung Funhouse Farm in the Hamptons for God’s Love We Deliver’s 24th annual Midsummer Night Drinks benefit. The property features whimsical touches, including a vintage Ferris wheel that sadly no longer works but perfectly fits the farm’s circus vibe. Stacey Bendet, Nicky Hilton, Luann de Lesseps, Neil and Marika Bender, Candace Bushnell, Dave Rogal and Ron Carlivati, Bijou Phillips, Sophie Sumner, Tinx, Jayne Baron Sherman, Vicente Wolf and Matthew Yee were among the well-dressed attendees. Founded in 1985 as a response to the AIDS pandemic, God’s Love cooks and homedelivers medically tailored meals for individuals living with illness, as well as their children and caregivers. They have delivered more than 4.3 million medically tailored meals to nearly 16,000 individuals just this year. Presenting sponsors, Alice + Olivia and Ford Bronco, donated a one-of-akind, custom-wrapped Ford Bronco inspired by Alice + Olivia designs for the live auction. The event raised more than $500,000. East Hampton Library

Author’s Night

Hilaria Baldwin autographed her revealing memoir, “Manual Not Included,” at the 21st annual Authors Night, hosted by the East Hampton Library. Also on hand were authors Kelly Bishop, Bobbi Brown, Jessica Seinfeld, the NYT’s Maureen Dowd with her book “Notorious,” and President Trump’s former Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross, who talked about his critically acclaimed memoir, “Risk and Returns.” Over 100 authors gathered under the big top to sign their books and engage in meaningful conversations with their fans. “The funds raised at Authors Night allow us to continue offering essential programs and services at the library—completely free of charge—to our diverse community all year long,” said Dennis Fabiszak, director of the East Hampton Library. This event is one of the nation’s leading literary celebrations, attracting bibliophiles, the curious and VIPs, including actors Alec Baldwin and George Hamilton, Janna Bullock, Dr. Bianca Molina, architect TC Chou and writer Devorah Rose, who is one of the event’s top supporters. Over the years, Gwyneth Paltrow, Katie Couric and Geraldo Rivera have all brought their books here to support this East End institution. authorsnight.org

Amy Green, CEO of Green Vision, and LP Giobbi, founder of Femme House, joined forces to amplify their shared mission: to uplift women and create a sustainable world. The organizations celebrated their collaboration with a glamorous Under the Stars Clam Bake and benefit in Bridgehampton. Guests included Julie and William Macklowe, Erin and Abe Lichy, Charlie and Lauren Walk, Caroline Born, Jeff Feinberg, and Andrew and Racheal Lustgarten. Earlier in the summer, Amy and her husband Gary Green hosted “The Floating Footprint Gala” on a private super yacht in Ibiza with DJs Blond:ish and CamelPhat. The event brought together ocean advocates and served as a celebration uniting art, music and purpose to ignite global action. Proceeds benefited the Green Vision Foundation and Blond:ish’s Bye Bye Plastics, whose shared mission is to restore the planet by advancing ocean restoration, eliminating toxic plastic, preserving biodiversity, combatting poaching and supporting communitydriven environmental issues. thegreenvision.org, thisisfemmehouse.com

SOCIAL SAFARI

The Black Party Writers Leigh Bardugo and Devorah Rose

Goodbye white parties. Under a glass pavilion hung with crystal chandeliers, guests stepped into a shadow-drenched garden fantasy. Hosted by No. 1 New York Times bestselling author Leigh Bardugo and writer Devorah Rose, the evening celebrated Bardugo’s decade of genre-defining storytelling. Set on Rose’s private estate in Water Mill, the evening introduced the Hamptons’ first ever all-black dress code. “This wasn’t about rebellion for rebellion’s sake. It was about rewriting the visual language of summer, just as great authors rewrite the rules of storytelling,” said Rose. Guests arrived dressed in their own interpretations of “all black everything,” setting a chic, mysterious tone for a night that blended performance, reflection and storytelling under the stars. A single serpentine table curved through the tent, draped in deep navy linen and lit by hundreds of taper candles in onyx, crimson and pale blush. Bardugo delivered an inspiring reflection on the creative process, speaking to the tension between control and discomfort, and the way unease often becomes the birthplace of art. Each guest left with two novels written by Bardugo, “Six of Crows” and “Hell Bent.” Guests included “White Lotus” star Alexandra Daddario, Kathryn Gallagher, Zibby Owens, Janna Bullock, Elena Matei and Alexander Hankin. leighbardugo.com

Kravis Center by Interior Designer Gil Walsh

Steve Martin, Martin Short, David Foster and Katharine McPhee have all performed at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach. The stars will now have three new Art Deco-inspired spaces to use, designed by top Palm Beach interior designer Gil Walsh. The first of the trio of glamorous rooms features green tones and cheetah prints and is being used for VIP receptions. The luxe and intimate space is open and will be tapped this fall during performances by Rick Springfield and comedian Tom Segura. The renovation of the main theater lobbies will be finished by October and will have moody plush red velvet seating and custom decorative light fixtures, adding drama to the elegant spaces. gwifl.com

Jacques Pepin

Jacques Pepin Is 90

I’ve known Jacques Pepin, chef extraordinaire, since he was my dinner partner at the La Nuit des Etioles benefit for L’Alliance, which I chaired more than 20 years ago. This gifted, charming man started his career as the personal chef to WWII hero General Charles de Gaul when he was president of the Republic of France. Moving to the United States in 1959, he went to work in culinary development at the fast-food chain Howard Johnson’s. Jacques went on to appear on TV with Julia Child in the awardwinning program “Julia and Jacques Cooking at Home,” as well as his own cooking shows, and he wrote over 30 cookbooks. When he turned 90 this August, Jacques celebrated his birthday at Yellow Frame Farm with his close friend, high-wire artist Philippe Petit, who is famous for his tightrope walks between the towers of Notre Dame in Paris and the World Trade Center in New York. Barbara Tober, who generously donated $25,000 to the Jacques Pepin Foundation, my dachshund Violet—who met Jacques at his most recent book signing two years ago—and a bevy of other joyful friends from Millbrook’s gratin turned out to play a game of boules and celebrate this grand (and delicious) occasion.

Gracie Cashman

Advocate IS HAVING A MOMENT

NY Sports Emmy Nominee, Rising TV Host, Actress and

Gracie Cashman is in the midst of a breakout moment— emerging as a compelling new voice at the intersection of sports, entertainment and advocacy.

Gracie Cashman is the host of “The Story of My Number,” the standout YES Network and Gotham Sports App original series presented by the New York Lottery. The show was recently recognized with two New York Sports Emmy nominations, honoring its fresh, heartfelt approach to sports storytelling. Through emotional backstories behind iconic jersey numbers from legends like Aaron Boone, Don Mattingly and CC Sabathia, the series resonates far beyond stats and scoreboards.

When discussing the opportunity to host “The Story of My Number,” Cashman said, “Honestly, when YES Network approached me about

hosting ‘The Story of My Number,’ I couldn’t say yes fast enough. Numbers are such a huge part of sports. To quote our intro, they’re ‘sewn into the fabric of the game and onto the backs of its legendary athletes,’ but they’re also wildly intimate, like tattoos with backstories.”

Cashman has had the opportunity to host for the two seasons that the show has been out. Looking back on her experience, she said, “Season one was thrilling and slightly terrifying (in the best way). It was an entirely new and brilliant concept for a show (credit to the mastermind Daniel Laikind), but new, nonetheless. We didn’t know each other as a crew. There was a lot that needed to come together and really no margin for error. Everyone was taking a leap of faith in one way or another, but it wasn’t lost on me that I was one of those leaps, and I took that really seriously.” Cashman added, “But being with a project from the start, you get to watch it go from just a concept to a well-oiled machine. There is this amazing sense of trust that built up, both from the athletes and the crew, and I think that allowed for even deeper conversations. Plus, I stopped triple-checking every question 15 times... now I only do it five.”

But her momentum doesn’t stop at the studio.

Cashman brings a unique blend of media savvy, classical performing arts training and cultural legacy. She studied theatre at Northwestern, minored in psychology and obtained a musical theatre certificate. “Basically, I triplemajored in talking about my feelings. I graduated with honors, which I’m proud of, because sitting in psych lectures with a hat on because your hair is already prepped for your evening show is not for the faint of heart,” said Cashman about her accolades and getting things done despite the circumstances. With her father, Brian Cashman, serving as the longtime Yankees general manager, and her grandfather a trailblazer in cable television, Gracie is continuing a multigenerational media lineage, all while confidently carving her own path. When discussing if her family played a role in what she set out to do as a career path, Cashman said, “There was definitely a sense growing up that storytelling, pressure and performance— all in different ways—were just part of the family DNA. But no one ever said, ‘You should go into entertainment.’ If anything, I think my family just modeled what it looks like to work hard and care deeply about what you do. That gave me the freedom to find my path, whether that was on a set, a stage or somewhere in between.”

Cashman recently took the stage at the North Fork TV Festival, moderating a panel alongside actress Anna Chlumsky on creativity and storytelling through a female lens. On-screen, she’s gaining traction as an actress, with roles in “Christmas Cowboy” and the upcoming feature film “California Skate,” starring Brooke Shields and Bridget Moynahan. Cashman found her experience to be wildly flattering and slightly surreal when asked to moderate the panel, having said, “I kept looking around like, ‘Wait, me?’ I mean, looking at your name and headshot on a program next to those names is enough to give anyone imposter syndrome, I think. But it was such an honor. Creativity can feel like this elusive, messy thing, and I loved the chance to pull back the curtain a bit and talk about how it actually works (or doesn’t) for me.” Cashman deeply believes in storytelling that feels authentic and a little imperfect. Being able to speak on storytelling and hearing from other creators was genuinely inspiring, reminding her that none of us really have it “figured out.” “And that’s kind of the beauty of it,” said Cashman.

Gracie Cashman has a lot going on for her, and outside of entertainment, off camera, she’s an outspoken advocate for women’s health and reproductive rights. Cashman works closely with the Endometriosis Foundation of America (EndoFound), sharing her personal journey with PCOS and endometriosis to help educate and empower others.

Living with PCOS and endometriosis has fundamentally shaped

how Cashman moves through the world: physically, emotionally and professionally. These are chronic, often debilitating conditions that affect about 1 in 10 women, yet they’re still massively under-researched, underfunded and, too often, dismissed. Ten years is the average length of diagnosis for endometriosis, and PCOS is one of the leading causes of infertility. Despite that, there is still no known cure and very few consistent treatment options.

Cashman says that she is incredibly fortunate to have access to exceptional healthcare, noting that that is not the case for many. Even with the best care, the options are limited, and so much of the treatment process is just trial and error. She said, “There are medications that don’t work, surgeries that may potentially offer temporary relief, and a daily mental load that is exhausting in its own right.” When discussing her own personal experience in detail, Cashman said, “On a practical level, some days are totally manageable. Others, I am dealing with fatigue, inflammation, nausea—and a kind of pain that can literally rank higher than childbirth on the pain scale. And the hardest part is that all of it is invisible. You’re expected to show up, perform, stay on, when your body is experiencing something that most people can’t see and honestly can’t imagine.” She added, “What gives me hope is that more people are starting to talk about it. There is still so much stigma around reproductive health, and I believe storytelling—through interviews, film or even just honest conversation—is one of the most powerful tools we have to create change. If my experience can help even one person feel less alone or more empowered to advocate for their own health, then that means everything to me.”

With her rising profile across media, entertainment and advocacy, Gracie Cashman is redefining what it means to have range in today’s cultural landscape. Whether she’s leading heartfelt sports conversations, commanding the screen as an actress or using her platform to push for meaningful change, Cashman is proving she’s not just following in a legacy—she’s building her own. As “The Story of My Number” continues to gain recognition and her acting career picks up speed, one thing is clear: Gracie Cashman isn’t just having a moment—she’s just getting started.

Grace Charis

Dialed In on Golf, Growth and Breaking the Mold

Photos

It’s been a whirlwind summer for Grace Charis. The rising pro golfer and digital powerhouse has crisscrossed continents and competitive tours, teeing off in events like the Annika All Women’s Pro Tour and the Tenerife Women’s Open in Spain. In between tournament rounds and training sessions, she’s been building her own lane in the sport—and her own brand, with the launch of Dialed Golf, an apparel line designed for golfers who live for adventure, connection and self-discovery on and off the course.

For Charis, the game of golf has never been just about scorecards or trophies. It’s about rewriting the rules for what a golfer looks like, how the sport is experienced and who gets to feel like they belong on the fairway.

Charis’ career is a balancing act few could manage. On one hand, she’s in the grind of competitive

matters, and the more women are visible competing, designing products, sharing our voices, the more the sport will evolve.”

She’s also aware that her path as both an athlete and a public figure allows her to influence perceptions. “I want young girls to see golf as an exciting, creative and powerful space for them. That’s why authenticity is everything, people can tell when you’re genuine.”

Launched this year, Dialed Golf is Charis’ answer to the question, “What would golf apparel look like if it truly reflected the lifestyle I live?”

“Golf clothes can be functional, but they should also make you feel confident, expressive and ready for anything,” she said. “Dialed is about blending performance with personality pieces you can wear to play 18 holes, but also to meet friends afterward without missing a beat.”

Dialed’s first collection draws inspiration from Charis’ own travels and the golf communities she’s connected with around the world. Each design reflects a balance of performance fabrics, modern fit and subtle nods to golf culture. No loud gimmicks, just style that feels lived-in and loved.

Beyond fashion, the brand’s ethos mirrors Charis’ own: adventure, connection and personal growth. “It’s not just about selling clothes,” she noted. “It’s about inspiring people to get outside, play the game and find their own version of being ‘dialed in.’”

Charis sees golf as being on the edge of a cultural shift, one where tradition and innovation can coexist, and where social media plays a key role in bringing new fans to the sport.

“People used to discover golf through family or country clubs. Now, they can find it on Instagram, TikTok or YouTube,” she said. “That opens up a whole new entry point for younger players, people from different backgrounds and those who might have never considered picking up a club before.”

Her content isn’t just about showing perfect swings; it’s about storytelling, the travel mishaps, the emotional highs and lows, the moments that make the sport personal. “When you show the real side, it’s more relatable. And that’s how you build a community, not just an audience.”

Like any athlete, Charis has faced her share of challenges, missed cuts, injuries and the inevitable critics that come with public visibility. She credits her mental approach for keeping her grounded.

golf, early mornings, practice rounds, strength training and mental prep. On the other, she’s a full-time creator with a global following: Over 3.7 million Instagram followers, 3 million TikTok fans and 1.5 million YouTube subscribers tune in for everything from golf tips to behind-the-scenes travel and lifestyle content.

“It’s a lot of hats to wear,” Charis admitted, “but it’s also what keeps me excited about each day. The content creation side fuels my creativity and helps me connect with people all over the world, while the competition side keeps me disciplined and always learning.”

Her approach to content is intentional: authentic moments on the course, candid takes on her journey and a willingness to share both wins and struggles. “Golf can be intimidating,” she said. “I want people to see it’s a game anyone can step into. You don’t have to fit some pre-existing mold.” Breaking through in golf as a woman comes with its own set of challenges. The sport’s history and much of its culture still leans heavily male, from sponsorship pipelines to broadcast airtime. Charis is quick to acknowledge the pressure but doesn’t let it dim her vision.

“There are still a lot of barriers for women in golf,” she said. “Representation

“I’ve learned to see setbacks as part of the process,” she said. “In golf, one bad hole doesn’t define your round. In life, one tough moment doesn’t define your journey.”

She leans on routines, mindfulness and time away from the spotlight to recharge. “Mental health is as important as physical training. I make sure I have space to reset, whether that’s practicing alone, spending time with friends or just being off my phone for a bit.”

With a busy tournament calendar ahead and the growth of Dialed Golf on the horizon, Charis is as focused as ever. She plans to continue competing at a high level while expanding the brand and exploring new creative projects that merge sport, style and storytelling.

“I want to keep breaking expectations,” she said. “For me, golf isn’t just a game, it’s a platform to inspire, connect and create. Whether I’m on the course or designing a collection, the goal is the same: stay authentic, keep learning and bring others along for the ride.”

Summer 2025 in the Hamptons proved one undeniable truth: out east still hosts the best parties, the smartest brand activations and the most enviable gift bags (special thanks to Ticket2Events and Jill Zarin’s gift bag that clocked in at a jaw dropping $5,000 value).

An event in the Hamptons is a careful balance of star power, logistics and insider know-how that makes or breaks the night. This season delivered it all: from New York Times bestselling author Leigh Bardugo and Devorah Rose’s gothic dinner party, to the Alice + Olivia x Ford Bronco collaboration at Mary Lou’s, to the launch of Erne + Ace’s pickleball ready-to-wear collection at East Hampton’s Clubhouse, and even the debut of Juan, Please canned cocktails in the Hamptons. Each soirée this season proved the Hamptons still holds the crown as the ultimate summer stage. Here’s what this season taught us about how to run a truly successful Hamptons event.

Philanthropy plays well in the Hamptons— especially when it’s paired with a sunset, a strong lineup and a can’t-miss setting. Safar Global’s charity dinner at Surf Lodge nailed it. And Alexandra Richards’ Project Zero beach cleanup showed how daytime dogooding, capped off with sunset cocktails and live music, can turn purpose into the chicest social currency of all.

The Hamptons thrives on narrative. Leigh Bardugo and Devorah Rose’s goth dinner party broke the pastel code, making black the new Hamptons white and proving that originality still rules the East End. Meanwhile, Offshore Montauk’s opening with Spritz Society and JoJo Fletcher nailed the “new kid in town” energy, drawing both influencers and hotel regulars curious about the buzz.

This summer’s Route 27 circuit showed us that success isn’t about throwing the biggest party—it’s about throwing the smartest one. Cast wide, create moments worth remembering, respect the unique Hamptons rhythm and always—always—plan for traffic. Because out here, the only thing worse than a bad event… is missing a good one.
