“Once in a blue moon something makes you really think about how you connect with people and how important that connection is … this book does just that. This isn't just a memoir to her father; it's about business management skills and self-help. It's a real reminder of how we should treat others. I'm really looking forward to hearing her personally, since we're all in the "people business". -- Betty Mattingly-Ebert, Paradoxx Design
“I was skeptical when I first read the title on how a butcher's shop would relate to my work helping families during pregnancy and birth, but customer service is of the utmost importance for any business and I was thoroughly pleased to have read this book. I am excited to hear more of Mary's wisdom passed down from her father as I believe hearing some of these values again will help reinstate them in my business, which is all about putting our clients first.” -- Kaylee Proctor, Little Apple Doulas
