Festival of Lights
Kick off your holiday celebrations
The holiday season has a certain flair, and each November, Manhattan raises the tallest tree in the state, a 75-foot beauty that sparkles with holiday spirit to send Manhattan and the surrounding region into the season with the annual Festival of Lights celebration. In concert with Whoville, the Blue Earth Plaza turns into a dazzling display of lights dancing to rhythmic holiday music, festive colors in all directions.
Don’t miss the annual lighting ceremony when a simple switch turns Manhattan into a paradise of lights at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25. Downtown Manhattan along Poyntz Avenue joins the festive celebration, with Aggieville, boasting the Mayor’s Holiday Tree in Triangle Park. Celebrate all holiday season, extend the celebration to Dec. 31 with the annual Little Apple Drop in Aggieville … to ring in the New Year in The Little Apple®! From beginning to end, make the holiday season a colossal celebration. The Little Apple® offers celebrations guaranteed to
